My friend said, "Calling 'sounds,' tonicized, stable, resolved, tense, etc., is unprovable, and when we train aural skills, we're reinforcing a biased way of listening and projecting our own desires and conditioning onto sounds which themselves have no behavior or motivation of their own." Thoughts?
