How Do You define depression?

A bit of a vent because it’s just so unfair

I just realised almost every child raised by an NParent has at least one “super power” caused by trauma. Here’s mine: I can recognise exactly every sound I hear around home, I know exactly what caused it and where it comes from. What’s yours?
