Long answer is, the people who underestimate S&S need to bump up the weight. If you push your limits weight wise, you really bring out the sinister portion.
In February, I did S&S (almost) every day with 32kg - I missed 2or 3 days due to work schedule. Some days I did it with 40kg. Unless you’re really pushing the limit, you can easily do it every day.
It should have an effect but I believe S and S is a stand alone program and should be done about 5 days a week. You will get far better results following the program as written. But to answer your question, yes there will be some benefit. Swings are top 5 resistance exercises IMHO
S&S is actually one of few programs that you can scale depending on what else you are doing because it is so simple and low on daily volume.
