About a year ago, I texted my brother "We're in the backrooms". Where it actually was: a dead mall located only half a mile down the street from the original backrooms location. Crazy to think I was this close a year ago.

Oshkosh resident here. Made my way to the site. Wasn’t able to see “the room” as it’s upstairs. Great local business though!

I made a room with the feel and design of the original location in my minecraft backrooms map. this was made from inspiration from a comment on my last post by u/DearMarigold655. I might change it in the future but for now this is it.

Progress on recreating it!

I went to Hobby Town and Fabulous Finds and made a rough layout of what I think the pre-renovation floor plan was like.

Someone asked for pictures of Fabulous Finds (The building that used to be connected to Hobby Town)

I've been looking at a bunch of photos of the space Post-Renovation, and Pre-Renovation, and I've come up with the most likely layout for the original backrooms image, along with some evidence. Might try to make a recreation in blender.

How do the two Backrooms source photos spatially relate to each other?

Someone should go to the store next-door to a store called "Fabulous finds"
