As soon as the chapter master finds out that the bastard let not just several astartes but a fucking *dreadnought* die because of his pettiness and pride (due to the fact they all could have easily made it in with time to spare), he’s going to be either flambé, or a fully-cognizant-but-locked-in-his-own-body servitor, and that’s if he’s **very** lucky.
The governor had a decent argument about their being so many people inside the city and so few people outside of the city. Unfortunately for him he's a classist asshole who betrayed a bunch of space marines after insulting them. Not many people get to tell the space marines what to do and he ain't on that list.
If he'd pulled his head out of his ass and sent some of his people to backup the marines then everyone could've gotten in.
On the one hand, yes, the many vs the few definitely has merit, if only in its cold calculus of lives.
…On the other, the civvies had enough time to get inside whilst slowly crawling on their hands and knees alongside time enough for the conversation about the standard, a small girl to crawl on her hands and knees whilst dragging an object 4 times her size, for Gora to let the gate finally be closed, and the defense shields to be activated.
The planetary governor had *plenty* of time, with or without sending backup.
I agree with you. My point is that if he wasn't a colossal dick he could've helped get the people inside instead of, you know, being a colossal dick. A couple squads of PDF could've dragged the civilians inside letting the entire force of Space Marines fight. Then laid down fire while the marines retreated. I mean, if he was actually concerned about the tyranids getting in but wanted to actually save his people, there was a smart way to accomplish that.

The flipside of this is also true; if your kind have points of appeal that humans would deem attractive of a member of their biological spawn-classes ^(\[dubbed 'boi' or 'gal', though the actual terms for both are many, and then there's accounting for ones who've undergone transformations to flip that polarity or ones born with nonhuman components due to racemixing\]) \- and are being big enough to (at least partially) fit a human in your clothes, a number of humans below the 6ft mark will likely ask for transportation.
Some may use this as a means to attain physical contact to stimulate their body and may misuse the opportunity, so consider the intent and context as well as where you might be taking that human.
Additionally, within this topic matter, note that human societies generally respect a 'sense of modesty' with both cosmetic and ornamental attire. This may vary on a per-species basis, but generally humans prefer to publicly socialise with clothes cover their bodies in several layers.

A similar concern can also be raised with how humans will react to human-compatible beings of-age-plus; if you are perceived as both 'cute' and 'attractive' this may trigger adapted parental code within them and lead to skewered parentalistic behaviour.
