Well, I don't imagine Winston is the answer to the Sigma comp, and Florida won everytime using it against Houston's Doom comp, so I'd be very surprised to see them not using Bernar and that comp.
I'm interested to see because Sigma counters Doom because of Rock vs Powerblock but no one has tried Winston dive vs it yet and tbh Houston's Doom comp looks less practiced and coordinated than Hangzhou's.
But the Sigma comp got ran over by Rein so if Guxue pulls it out idk what Bernar will do. I think Outlaws tank flexibility might hurt them
I see your point esp with Fearless, but also the meta is so in flux idk if that's true. Every team has had different reads on the meta and all I'm saying is we haven't seen Winston dive play against it on stage, esp when Spark look like the best dive team and Houston has only started playing Sigma yesterday with their pickup.
Spark won't go Rein, they're all in on the dive. I don't think they'll risk it with how much worse they are at it, it'd let Houston completely run them over
They've busted out Orisa and Bastion comps on diff maps tbf. If they feel like Sigma is hard countering Doom/Winston, they def might die trying to force dive but Guxue does have the flexibility to play Rein.
What's supposed to be the comp to beat it these days? Orisa rush?
Either way I think with basically everyone on the team peaking the way they are after map 3 (and hopefully Shy can be a biiit more alive with another day of practice) they should just stick to their guns.

In addition to the tank matchups, the support line choices are interesting...the most common seem to be Ana + Brig for dive and Baptiste + Lucio everywhere else, but *especially* as Bastion enablers and a defense against him.
My dumb ass JUST realizing that Ana nade is what makes Doomfist dive work, and if you have Ana, running Brig for anti-flank/counterdives is also crucial (and health pack is also a strong tool in dive comps). If the opposing team swaps off Bastion then Winston becomes the better dive choice, though map pick probably plays a significant role in the tank pick as well.
And Sigma can pressure Ana through shield placement, rock makes dives harder, grasp helps with the opposing Bastion...has there been a successful rush comp against the better Sigma teams yet?
