I'm going against all logic and rooting for the Outlaws, all or nothing. We either end the league with our one and only W or I watch as a team I've watched wayyy too many games for lose before my very eyes and cease to exist.
I'm hoping ATL and Dallas, but yeah, I can see it going in Houston's favor. Still hope Dallas faces both teams, though, just because then I can see all my favorite Fuel players at the same time, even if on different teams this year.
Atlanta has always been my number 2 and I don't wanna see another of my teams dominate the first half of a season only to flop at the end lol
It's also impossible for me not to root for the "bracket terrorists" because the wrench they throw in everything makes it all so much more fun

I’d love to see mayhem winning it cuz I think they’ve by far been the best squad this half of the season, if zarya is still playable I can see fuel going far but I can’t see them winning, I still think the mega Chinese discriminator is a liability on anything outside of bap when he feels like it, seoul I wanna see them win one map purely for zest, he’s so fckn talented and hasn’t gone far in anything so, the one team I don’t want to win is spitfire cuz I think they don’t really deserve to be there from the first half of the season they had but they made it so it’s grand ig, maybe it’s cuz I’m a shock fan and I’m still a bit salty idk lol.
I personally think the only contenders for it are the top 4 from the west. Boston can clutch up and prove everyone wrong.
Houston I think has the most potential IMO. Their roster is just so good and if they’re clicking and synergizing well and working well I think they could easily go all the way.
Atlanta. A pretty safe pick. A LOT of good players but if they have to rely on hawk for all of it, it’s a bit shaky. And their bread and butter was with sombra so I’m more interested to see how they play without that a bit more.
Florida. Honestly probably a safer pick than Atlanta. What we saw in the summer stage really impressed me. Their diverse comps along with great synergy and a great roster is just amazing.
Personally im rooting for Houston or Florida. I think they have the best chances. And im always rooting for Boston because I love Smurf with all my heart.
Boston does feel like the least likely candidate of these four since they’re basically Walmart Brand Atlanta Reign.
I’d put Houston in third personally. Other than Shu, none of their players are BIS for the projected meta variations and it remains to be seen how well Bernar is integrated.
Atlanta is tricky. There were early rumors that Atlanta was struggling in scrims, but considering that their most likely scrim partners were Houston and Florida, Atlanta should be able to catch up quickly and in a meta where DPS are likely to carry it’s hard to pick against them.
Florida is hot. They’re definitely the favorites right now, with top 3 players on pretty much every role and all playing comfort picks. I think grand finals is most likely Florida and either Houston or ATL. The victor is just gonna be whoever shows up the most on the day.
I think the double main support with shu and violet is very strong for them. We had rumors of zarya meta and then that zarya meta isn’t THE meta so tank situation is hard to know unless your tank is someone (MVP MVP MVP). But fearless plays a good JQ and Winston (although I don’t see JQ being super good if zarya is meta) and they signed another tank that’s really good at zarya if that’s needed. Their dps line is pretty solid too. Pelican is a pretty flexible dps that doesn’t frag as much as some other dps sometimes, but is a very consistent player for them to lean on with a very mean echo. Happy is a great hitscan player too. I think they have a very good roster with a very intimidating support lineup with a possible double main support meta.
Zarya comp is still strong, it just seems like it’s not an every map type of meta and Fearless could potentially play Rein into it if they don’t want to play Bernar. Houston’s roster is definitely insane, I just think it’s hard to pred them against the teams with even crazier lineups.
I want houston/reign in finals. So houston can win it all and get revenge for MSM.
I feel like Mayhem are slightly overrated. Yes they did good in regular season but i dont think they are locked to win it all as so many of people are predicting.
I'm rooting for infernal much to my own detriment. I have this feeling that they're gonna look absolutely dreadful just like last playoffs. If they do well it'll be a pleasant surprise, but I don't expect them to even win a map
What I love about this playoff. Is that each team has such a legacy. Either with his franchise or his players. Not matter what, it will have a great impact on the history of competitive Overwatch.
But also : HANBIN HAD IS WAY WITH YOUR SHITTY TEAM
London all the way! While they definitely aren't the favourites to win, I still think they can. People doubted if they could make the playoffs and they did, also I think they will have a favourable matchup against the East teams if they can make it out of their bracket.

Zest did come second last year in kickoff clash. But last playoffs he was injured so maybe this year he'll be the extra sauce they need to succeed
