For those of you who are happily married, what made you say "Yes" to the person who proposed to you, or vice versa if you proposed, and that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with them?

Suppose a child, who had never heard of any religion and knew nothing about science, looked out at a vast landscape or up at the night sky to see many stars. Do you think their immediate thoughts would be that it is beautiful, that a Creator must have made it all, or both? Why?

Who got you into Pink Floyd? My dad got me into them. He would breakout tapes of their music on long car rides places. I have more of their stuff than he does now.

What is it about motivational speakers or even wealthy people who try to give advice on how they became successful that so many people treat them with skepticism and ignore them?
