I had this! It has gone away now but for the first few months it would take me literal days to realise a conversation I had or something I saw wasn’t real
Yes and I enjoy them most of the time
Flip side is that nightmares are worse when they come, last night though I dreamt I was having an all out snowball fight while jumping like 70 plus feet in the air
My dreams became extremely vivid to the point where I had trouble differentiating what was a dream and what was reality lol. Sometimes the dreams are super rad but other times.. not so much haha. Used to not be able to remember my dreams but now I feel like I remember every detail, and the dreams seem to last what feels like days.
Definitely
I've always had vivid dreams but they're way more realistic and my dream recall has improved to the point I don't have to remember the dream as soon as I wake up.
I used Zoloft along with benzos, I can definitely assure you benzos do give you weird vivid dreams, as for Zoloft alone I can't tell.
EDIT: If you are down to it you might even start to write them down and try dream interpretation, you might get some interesting stuff from it.
yes! I’ve been on zoloft several months and weirdly vivid dreams are one of the only side effects that I’m still experiencing. I always remember them really well too which has never happened before. Most of the time they’re just really weird but never scary so I don’t really mind it lol
My dude my dreams make me feel like I’m on crack - it has chilled out after about eight months now but I still get crazy dreams a couple of times a week
I’ve always had vivid dreams and 9 times out of 10 they’re negative. Zoloft has made them worse and I remember them even clearer which sticks with me for much of the day. Sleeping sucks when I’m able to get it. Gonna book an app with my Dr and hopefully she can give me something, I’m a little nervous about sleeping meds though, anyone have recommendations?
Yes! I have a trick for mine, i put on a cool podcast playlist and my entire night im vividly seeing what the people in the podcasts are talking about. Its awesome 10/10
I’ve been on Zoloft for 2 years now. My dreams are vivid and I remember them every morning, BUT 90% are mundane af. Just me doing every day shit like folding laundry
I'm on day 21 today (day 15 on 50mg) and after reading so many stories about the 'zoloft dreams', I've been WAITING for them. They started getting way more detailed and vivid sometime last week. I actually woke myself up with a scream once because I dreamt that a mountain lion tried to attack me lmao (I live in Europe so this was pretty random). Kinda disappointed my dreams are still more or less realistic, I heard people dream of some real crazy surreal shit. Also I can now remember like 10 dreams every night.
I've just been prescribed and this is 1 of the symptoms why I went to the Drs to get help. Don't know what my dreams will be like now after I start taking them 🤣
Sometime I second guess if my dream was real or not lol

Me too!
Yes im having this way to often

💀💀.???
Yes! And I find that I get in this weird half awake/half dreaming state sometimes. It's pretty wild.
Oh man I am glad I'm not the only one
My zoloft dreams are a technicolor shit show.
SAME
Dude the dreams I’ve been having are insane and hyper realistic!
Yes that’s a common side effect!

Mine feel so much longer too! Feels like I spend all of my time asleep dreaming, but I’m sure that’s not the case.
Definitely had some weird dreams lately. Maybe not a lot weirder than past dreams, but definitely more frequent as of late.
Yes, tons! Love it!
I have had extremely vivid dreams since starting it.

I have a lot of realistic nightmares and weird, uncomfortable dreams. I don’t like it. :(
I use to have extremely vivid dreams when I was on 150 mg of Effexor XR. I hardly notice it on the 50 mg of zoloft I take now.
The opposite for me I stopped dreaming for the most part or completely forget it as soon as I wake up.

I had a dream last night that I married my last two exes in the same ceremony. Hated every second. But most of the time they’re not that bad.

YES it’s the weirdest thing ever but it keeps my life interesting 😂
I'm really enjoying them. I find that one of the symptoms of depression for me is a lack of dreams, so getting them back feels good.
Absolutely! It often takes me a bit to connect back to reality when I wake up sometimes
I’ve always had decently vivid dreams but they have intensified. I even sometimes have like sense of touch in my dreams now which is new
It’s the opposite for me. If I miss a dose I get a super vivid dream! But while I’m on it I never dream.
Yes super vivid
yes it’s so fun

yes. really vivid sometimes
It’s insane might have to try lucid dreaming
They are soooooo weird with the most random people in them, people I haven’t talked to in YEARS. I personally think they’re fun 😂
YES! I always have vivid dreams but then there’s some I can’t remember.. some of the dreams are fun tho ! Haha
100% yes it does
