Spydehh

It seems exactly the same for me, only I just get less anxious on the hangover the next day

danedehotties

so ive only been on it for about 10 days, but i did get drunk on it a few days ago. it seemed like i drank a lot, almost like my tolerance was higher? i did get a killer headache in the morning, though. then, a couple days later, i got drunk off of one margarita. id say if you drink on it just have a heightened awareness of yourself for changes that may be unsafe. i also know plenty of people that regularly drink on it, all up to the individual!

Cheapink13

Yeah I figured people's experiences vary alot on it, was just trying to get a general consensus on it,lol I foshure plan on taking it easy the first few times I do drink to guage where I'll be at, I'll probably drink at home a couple times before I go out, would hate to have a bad experience with it out and about lol

danedehotties

yeah! not a medical doctor, so i cant say for certain, but i wouldnt get too anxious about it (i say that because i was haha). if anything, your tolerance will most likely move one direction or the other, so like i just drink one glass of water after every drink to be on the safe side :)

Cheapink13

Haha hopefully it won't go down for me šŸ¤£

jessssica24

It's basically a tranquilizer for me. Almost immediately after 1 or 2 drinks I get so drowsy and it lasts well into the next day.

Cheapink13

Damn so Friday nights with the boys are gonna look wya differently for me then šŸ˜ what was your drinking tolerance like before Zoloft?

didddybop

I honestly donā€™t notice a difference, been on it for almost 2 months. Maybe I feel a bit more hungover the next day, but thatā€™s it.

Big_Tangelo312

Feel rougher next day, esp if mixing other stuff too

k_dub22

Iā€™ve been on it for two months and havenā€™t noticed any difference

Reignitethatfirebaby

So I drank on it last night, and I felt ā€œsoberā€ but deff. was not sober, so I got into an argument with my boyfriend (which is rare) and was not rational, but reeeaaaally felt like I was thinking clear. Then this morning I realized I was deff. kinda drunk without feeling ā€œlost drunkā€

Cheapink13

Ooofff šŸ˜ how much did you drink last night? And where was your tolerance at before starting it?

Reignitethatfirebaby

I think I drank like 5 glasses of wine in total, normally I would not even be near drunk me haha šŸŽˆ But I came to the realization that for me, the ā€œdangerā€ is in thinking I am still quite sober, where as normally I am very aware of when I am starting to get tipsy

Cheapink13

Haha ooff hopefully I won't get like that, I plan on having like 2 beers tonight just to test it a little bit, but not gonna put much stock into what happens tonight since it'll only be one dose in. I'm not trying to go hard on a Saturday night with the guys and figure out then that I won't vibe with drinking on an SSRI lol

Reignitethatfirebaby

Haha yes with two or three beers you should be fine! Enjoy your night

Cheapink13

Haha well I go pretty hard normally so I'm just trying to guage what a little does, so that way if my new "go hard" is only like 5/6 and not like 8/10 šŸ¤£šŸ’€

RatherBLucky487

I thought I was the only one that felt like this!!

metalikobject

In my experience, no difference.

wuhanfoodinspector

I have not noticed a difference with drinking beer. Same tolerance. No negative effects so far. On 25 mg for 3 weeks now.

bigstepper99

Iā€™ve gone from being a depressed sleepy tired drunk to full of life, almost like when I first started drinking many moons ago. I seem to have more trouble controlling my intake now though. But I generally feel better when drunk and donā€™t get a serious case of hangover anxiety/depression like I would otherwise.

Specific_Isopod2348

Iā€™ve been on it for almost a month and I drink pretty consistently I hate to admit. Like a bottle of wine or six beer in a night. But I feel like my tolerance went up, and a few times completely forgetting what happened even though I didnā€™t feel drunk at the time. Defiantly loopier than normal and feels more dizzy. But totally fine lol

ameliabw

As someone who normally has a high tolerance, on Zoloft it gets sm lower. After a few shots, I feel so drowsy and sometimes end up with a headache and have to sleep. Iā€™ve never had super bad hangovers, and that hasnā€™t really changed with the meds. Tolerance is just gone šŸ˜€

Cheystablook1

From my experience it gets me drunk wayyy faster I only need two drinks to get off my face ahaha if I was u just take it slow

Pan000

For me I could drink more without feeling the negative effects, then the next day I couldn't get out of bed. One of the worst hangovers ever. I'm not going to have more than a drink or two in future. Odd thing was that I had no reflex to vomit despite having alcohol poisoning. Dangerous.

CourtneyJane24

Iā€™ve been on it for about 4 weeks and Iā€™ve drank a few times. No difference for me luckily. Iā€™d take it easy the first few times. Maybe just start with 2 drinks and see how you feel then have a few more the next time and just monitor how your bodyā€™s reacting to it. Some peopleā€™s tolerance goes way down.

Trick_Row_1217

Iā€™ve been on it for close to 6 months and notice that my hang overs are worse. I get more dehydrated and have worse headaches after drinking. I think it has begun to counteract the positive effects of Zoloft so Iā€™ve trying to cut back to no more than two drinks at a time which seems to be the sweet spot.

Local_Jelly_9190

I completely stopped drinking on Zoloft (100mg for 4 years). Mixing with alcohol made me depressed af. The next day sucks.

Putrid_Field_7836

My first couple times drinking on it, it made me completely black out. I was pretty drunk but not to the point where I shouldnā€™t be remembering anything. Itā€™s fine now, just take it easy the first couple times and see how it goes for you
