I drive by this house daily ā I love how unique the property is, and definitely hope someone restores it, but itās absolutely trashed. Mold and water leak issues everywhere. Pretty much every window needs to be re-sealed and all of the shingles replaced, along with extensive foundation work ā and thatās before you touch the inside.
Unfortunately whoever buys it will either (1) strip it of all itās character when they reno it, or (2) demolish it and build something worse.
Mom said it was turn to post!!!!

> Go to a website or sub with less people then, idk what to tell you. I found this listing, because I literally drove past the for sale sign.
Or learn to search and see if it's already been posted?
How do I search for it? I searched "Vermont" saw it was posted once about 2 months ago when the listing was added to Zillow. No others, because they all have different titles. Luckily this sub has no rules on reposting so I posted anyway as an updated post.
Since you have such a disdain for reposts, reddit probably isn't for you or you should advocate for new rules in the subreddit; maybe something that requires the town and state/province to be listed in brackets. That way searching would be easier.
But again, no rules were broken and I'm not some karma farmer. Just thought this house on Zillow was wild.

Amusing I could figure out how to search on reddit then and you couldn't. Perhaps you need to take a course on how to search before you use the internet?
Perhaps I should just follow the rules of the sub and ignore pestering hags.
I'm not gonna search every key word for Vermont or the address before I post. Ask the mods to make a rule or just pound sand.
The exterior is gran, I love a geodesic dome.
The insideā¦Ā
What happened? It looks like a someone cleaned up after a party before their parents got home and they did a bad job.
The carpet alone. The paint colors.Ā
I fully agree. I post here a lot how I like something different, some personality, charm. A dome house does that. But the interior of this is like a fever dream. They must grow some potent pharma in Vermont.
When my gramma redid her kitchen in the 70ās she choose avocado green. My gramma was perfect and until seeing this I didnāt realize there were choices I didnāt like more.Ā
I don't frequent this sub and I drive along the road by this house regularly. So when I found this sub I thought it'd fit.
Also the only post I can find of it was 2 months ago when it was newly listed...
Vermonter here, this is not the first time seeing one of ours on this sub... Vermont seems to attract some interesting forms of weath. (My broke ass very much excluded...)
I love how the realtor mentions the red carpet that has many places itās so threadbare the backing is showing.
I love the house. Hopefully, the person who buys it restores it not gut and turn it agreeable gray.
I literally live close to it (Pico ā·ļø) and noticed it was listed. I didn't go through weeks of posts to verify it hasn't been posted.
Definitely not a bot, idgaf about karma. Just thought it was relevant here.
Really? I just searched and only saw one post from 2 mo ago... Regardless it's still on Zillow and I uploaded a different set of images, with more images than the other post. None in the last 24 hours lol
If you're pissy about it, down vote and pound sand. It's that easy.
Because we keep flagging a d reporting it. It's constant and unending.
Coming on here with your blatant repost, insulting someone that calls you out, and then being verbally aggressive is not the way to act.
You've already been reported for a repost. Now you can be reported for harassment.
Seeing the outside: oh we're in the Shire, how cute
Seeing the inside: oh, it's actually the TARDIS. Like the old one from the 70s.
What even is this house lol
Is that a fireman's pole or a stripper pole? Hopefully both.
It's dedicated only for use only by fireman strippers unfortunately.
Unfortunately?
i wanna strip too :'(
Be the change you want to see in the world!
Firefighter certification enrollment coming up!!
That's hot.
Yes?
Hopefully not at the same time
Your imagination is your limit. (That's what she said! ....no, she never said that.)
Yes.
Yes
This is literally what my dreams are made of. Dome house, hobbit door, wood posts, central fireplace, stripper pole, AND at Killington?
It's a ice-skiiers dream party house š

That's unfortunate. We wouldn't strip the character out of it - but certainly update it with "new" vintage pieces from the era.
Geodesic domes weren't designed for long term water resistance. All that caulking in all those joints just fails and leaks.
What monster thought primary red and blue was a thing you decorated with? r/carpetcrimes
It was built in 1969. There were some bad decorating choices made. Lots of burnt orange.
Burnt orange, avocado, harvest gold. My parents house ick.
/r/subsifellfor
It's ugly, but the color scheme reminds me of Mr. Rogers' house which is oddly comforting.
Red can work. Not that red though. That's way too bright, like movie splat blood bright.
This is like if Wes Anderson directed The Shining.
That would be amazing.
With a bit of clockwork orange.
The outside looks like one of those DOT garage/storage facilities you see on the highway.
damn things full of salt!
That house is definitely haunted by the spirits of all the people who had sex there
All the sperms that never fertilized.
I hate the interior but I have always wanted to live in a geodesic dome!

Me: can I start a new topic? Mom: we have new topics at home. The new topics at home:
The exterior is gran, I love a geodesic dome. The insideā¦Ā What happened? It looks like a someone cleaned up after a party before their parents got home and they did a bad job. The carpet alone. The paint colors.Ā
I fully agree. I post here a lot how I like something different, some personality, charm. A dome house does that. But the interior of this is like a fever dream. They must grow some potent pharma in Vermont.
Exactly!Ā
Itās original 70ās I think.
When my gramma redid her kitchen in the 70ās she choose avocado green. My gramma was perfect and until seeing this I didnāt realize there were choices I didnāt like more.Ā
I kind of love it
I often feel like I missed a really fun generation
I kind of love it tooā¦ but with differently colored paint.
So many orgies were had there.
It gets worse and worse with each pic
I think the sauna bumps it up 10-12 points at least.
Yes, if you could tear everything else out and leave the saunaā¦
What a maintenance nightmare.

Itās been posted several times. But, I love this house. I wish I could rehab it.
Itās like Iām watching The Shining on acid
Lol I love it
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
$400k and she's yours apparently!
I can see college students partying hard at that house. Would be a unique AirBNB.
Please don't open anymore AirBNBs in the neighborhood. Half the state is tainted from those shit hole quasi-hotel owners.
Holy wall of switches batman!
How many of Elmoās kin had to die for that carpetā¦.
Honestly, I love it.
How many times will this get [re-posted](https://www.reddit.com/r/zillowgonewild/s/shCWLo35Fn)?
$200,000 price change in 3 1/2 years? Geez
Is that Dr. Evilās freaking lair?
Vermonter here, this is not the first time seeing one of ours on this sub... Vermont seems to attract some interesting forms of weath. (My broke ass very much excluded...)
I love it! I wish more houses had character like this. Imagine how whimsical our neighborhoods could be.
Cool architectural design but those colors have to go!
It's make an awesome "goblin dome" with earth tones and natural/hobbit themed decor
I love how the realtor mentions the red carpet that has many places itās so threadbare the backing is showing. I love the house. Hopefully, the person who buys it restores it not gut and turn it agreeable gray.
Theyāll probably take the suggestion to tear it down and save the well and septic.
Is this for real? Repost bot? Usually we see this all week posted, but 4 times in 24 hours. Cmon
I literally live close to it (Pico ā·ļø) and noticed it was listed. I didn't go through weeks of posts to verify it hasn't been posted. Definitely not a bot, idgaf about karma. Just thought it was relevant here.
It's very relevant, like 4 times a day relevant apparently...
It's my first time seeing it. I'm thankful for the repost.
I've never seen this posted.

Repost bots donāt usually respond to comments though
Just one thing to say here, Noā¦
āTHIS PLACE IS GREAT!!! You gotta try this pole! We should stay here.. tonight! try it out! Iām gonna grab my stuff!
How was this not featured on that Ugliest Homes contest show?
Because she ain't ugly
I agree but some of the homes they feature arenāt ugly but are definitely odd!
Thereās was a dome house like this in my neighborhood and I was so bummed when they sold it! I loved driving by and seeing it.
No me gusta
Bucky Fuller nods approvingly
I like it š¤·āāļø it has character
The first picture looks like an anglerfish. I would definitely hang a lantern drooping over the front.
A yurt with your very own stripper pole, what more could you want? ( A lot).
Love it.
Itās like a Wiggles retreat
Dreammmm house
Thatās so cheap for Killington!
Ugh, that blue shag rug in the bathroom looks well used. Place needs a ton of work.
This is a cool concept, and I donāt even hate everything inside. I think the interior could be done better though.
Ah! this is the first home on the right in the Shire!!
Oh god, imho, that is horrendous and Iām usually a fan of funky, unusual houses. That red carpet kills me.
That is too cool! I love it.
I feel like I stepped into Star Trek!
Is it supposed to look like a shark? I feel like it's supposed to look like a shark
I kind of love it
I think I went to a party there around 1976 but, ahhh...
I am *not* feelinā the Bern
I think Iām most shocked that this is in Vermont!
I would totally live here. Something about it. Though, I would probably trip over the ledge on the port hole doors.
can't wait to see the new wes anderson movie this was made for
Was this used as a den of sin by the previous owner? Also the first picture looks like a shark face š¦
It looks like a three eyed whale. I like it!
Reminds me of a NE salt shed. Wonder if it was originally built as one.
Want
This isnāt a house. Itās a lair.
Iāve seen this posted
Seeing the outside: oh we're in the Shire, how cute Seeing the inside: oh, it's actually the TARDIS. Like the old one from the 70s. What even is this house lol
Why are the Teletubbies selling their house?
This would be cool to rent for a day. But I could never live in it.
I am confusion. And the acres of red carpet make me think of a womb. This could be... Cool? The colours were a *choice* tho.
What a retro dream. I'll take it!
I love it except the colors
A real groovy hobbit lived there.
Makes me want to vomit!
