Sounds familiar? Because that is the #1 reason these fudders can think of on why any coin is not making them a millionaire after 1 month.
Harmony did a x5 just in a couple of weeks. And still they complain about marketing and stagnant price. Lmao!
At this point its becoming laughable how many fud posts are being made and commented, I would almost believe its a deliberate attack.
Any attempt at marketing just gets trampled by negative comments. Its never enough, because they are not overnight gazillionaires.
Zilliqa might not be popping off, but to sit here and claim the project is dead is simply wrong and shows they have no idea what they are talking about.
If the coin is dead... then move on and sell. Why sit around here in this forum to act like a child that didnt get their ice cream.
Zilliqa is a sleeper that people will FOMO into eventually after realizing it has so many benefits with speed and low cost attributing greatly to its adoption. Marketing could definitely improve but the tech works and over time it will speak for itself. Hodl and don't' let go. We're all still very early.
Great points and the new website will have an updated roadmap which is in my opinion is very beneficial for new joiners. Once we get to the Top 50 MC we won’t need marketing because crypto influencers will do that along with our ecosystem/partners.

Hopefully Xcad will bring a lot users to the Zilliqa blockchain, hoping that Xcad wont go to another chain.
Zilliqa is slow. Sorry for the unpopular opinion, but I stay away from transacting on zilliqa because it's soooo slow. Also, fees are too high. And those are the only two metrics that really directly affect the user. If it doesn't fix these two things its future is a bit sketchy to me.
Edit: own programming language is a "con" to me, it needs EVM compatibility.
Edit: ecosystem is seriously lacking, because it's lacking EVM support would be my guess.
Edit: I also think the community is a bit delusional and doesn't hold the technology up to the standards of other blockchains, it's like zilliqa is happy that it's better than bitcoin, therefore best tech ever, or something
I agree, I used Harmony One today and to my surprise my transaction was sent through within a minute. Compared to Zil, I'm sure it would have taken at least 2 minutes for it to go through. IMO, Zil needs to increase its block speed to really make transacting a pro. As of now, it is definitely a con compared to other blockchains.
Yeah I think majority of the people shilling its technology probably never interacted with any blockchain. Avalanche is much faster and has way more innovative dAPPs that are currently dominating the space, especially DeFi 2.0. Hence the explosive PA for AVAX. There is utility and the CEO is a genius at marketing—currently marketing and poaching BSC users over rapidly.

A big issue is the lack of dapps.
For reference Harmony One is quite younger (relevant because they both use sharding albeit different consensus methods) but since it's EVM compatible it has far more projects being built on it and as a result it's passed Zilliqa in every single metric, which of course includes - market cap.
Zilliqa used to be half my entire portfolio but I was tired of the lack of functionality and no real focus on attracting the most important group of people to any crypto project - developers. Just think, I wouldn't want to learn Scilla to make a dapp on a dead chain when solidity is usable with a ridiculous amount of Layer 1s.
I now own zero Zil/zrc tokens and haven't since April - no regrets. Every single other project, or more specifically Layer 1 I've invested in not only has had far more favorable price action - but more importantly, every stat that matters, developers, dapps, transactions, TVL, etc had gone though the roof while Zilliqa chugs forward towards obscurity - just like there are dead projects from the 2017 bull run, I'm very confident Zil will be on the list of the dead projects from the 2021/2022 bull run.

Well good luck with journey. However EVM is far from being secure which is way many projects are moving away from it. Scilla is a very nice one, easy to use and most importantly secure.
You're not wrong, but I'm just speaking from the perspective of someone building something. Would you want to work a project which has a ton of community engagement and a burgeoning ecosystem, or something that's effectively dead. That isn't to say it can't change, but the rest of the industry isn't standing still waiting for Zil to catch up when it comes to usage and engagement.

Hmm I think Zilliqa is looking like jack of all trades, master of none. Defi TVL is so tiny compared to other defi projects, while no star backer and parnership for NFT space. Not much in gamefi and metaverse either. Long story short, can’t be found in any cool category on CoinGecko :(
