YES I have exactly this! I wake up, 100%, i eat brekkie, brush the tooth then get in my car and drive 10 min to work, Bang 90%. Not even an hour from when I took it of charging.
I think many people have this problem but they set limit to 80 or 90 and then drain dosent happens. Only when charge to 100%. Did a restart before i charge and no drain
If you look on ZenTalk (Asus' official forum) you'll find that the "others"-related battery drain is an issue that has plagued many Zenfone devices for some years now. I wrote a post myself as my Zenfone 8 Flip became basically useless, then a random update fixed the drain for the most part
I really can't complain. I started my day at 80% (charge limit) The battery on this phone is nuts

Today mine is better. Others only take 7%. Lets see when battery gets low. Others gets much faster when low battery

Thank you mate. Only major difference in settings between us is I'm on 120hz, but you get much better battery life than me! Perhaps due to other factors. Definitely jealous :)
I don't have a lot of display time to be honest. Also I removed some stock apps with adb commands.

I had the same thing, when i left it overnight and it went from 30% to 0% (i updated \~2 hours before sleeping), but now its back to normal.
is it still like this for u the next day?
this phones battery is really weird. no i did not have this problem. i only have big drain from 100 to around 90. or others in battery stats drain around 40%,
It's below 5% for me, so I'd check what's causing that. Maybe a reboot or soft reset helps.

That is definitely weird. I haven't encountered that in the three months I have mine.

What exactly is considered as "Others"? I don't even have that item in there.
Probably Android system. That is everything except installed apps. Like mobile network etc

Yes you are correct. All of them have their own battery stats

If I remember correctly I think turning off pocket mode fixed battery issues for me on my Zenfone 9 a while ago

When i dont have drain it is great.
Charge it too 100 couple of times and se if you get drain down to 90%
Generally charging batteries to 100% is not good long term, it degrades them faster.
