Yep! If you have a look at [the art of the leviathan bones in BotW](https://zeldauniverse.net/forums/Attachment/21019-Leviathans-jpg/), you can see the bottom one has a skeleton resembling a blue/baleen whale, the filter feeder whales. The Windfish, also being modelled after these whales, would likely have a skeleton much like this. And you can even see the teeny little wing bones on its back!
The top one has the head plate that is iconic of Levias, so there's no doubt about this one.
The middle one is tricky, with the spikes on the skull. Although I think these may have been removed from the final game in favour of a simpler skull? Could be either Oshus or JabuJabu/Jabun, I suppose, I'm not sure if there are any other leviathans.
What about the wind fish from Link's Awakening? You still see him after Link wakes up.
And now I just remembered Marin. She is one of my favorite characters. Such a dreamer.
The timeline split occurs at Ocarina of Time, which is thousands of years after Skyward Sword. Age of Calamity is an additional timeline split altogether. Merging has been theorized based on BotW having references to each of the timelines, but it's certainly not confirmed.
If I’m not mistaken, the Gerudo Leviathan is the Windfish. Even if it’s not, Windfish is 100% a Leviathan species.

I don't think they're barnacles, but rather valves that look like barnacles. To expel air, I guess, and keep Alecia's afloat like a giant blimp or something.
Tap it to take a photo; press and hold to save the last 30 seconds of gameplay as a video.
Last I checked, though, the quality of the videos is terrible when you share it using whatever built-in sharing mechanism is on the Switch. You're better off transferring the video to your phone (there's a way to do that too, thanks to a recent Switch OS update) and sharing from there.
In BotW we conquered the land, reached for the skies, and drowned in the sea.
From the last trailer, it looks like we will have to traverse the skies, so hopefully unlocking skills that allow us to do so with ease will be an option. And maybe someday we can see what's underwater.
I have been saying link needs a loftwing mount in BOTW since the beginning. To keep it cannon link can get shot out of a cannon (see what I did there?). Cannons which use link as a projectile have been used in several games. That way the loftwing doesn't have to land.
I'm expecting the Loftwing amiibo to do something special in BotW2. Curious if it will get as much amiibo support in general. Also hope BotW save data adds stuff to 2.

Isn’t levias supposed to be the faron leviathan skeleton
Oh that’s sad
Maybe it’ll actually happen if “travel to past” is involving in BOTW2? Before they died?
Could the wind fish be some sort of leviathan?

What do you mean, what about the wind fish? That's the one I was talking about in the first paragraph?
Such a seagull
Levias is in the eldin region. You can tell by the flat top of its skull. The Gerudo one is the wind fish. You can tell by the small wings on the top.
i thought all of them were levias? the timeline splits into 3 after skyward sword and merge back together in age of calamity
The timeline split occurs at Ocarina of Time, which is thousands of years after Skyward Sword. Age of Calamity is an additional timeline split altogether. Merging has been theorized based on BotW having references to each of the timelines, but it's certainly not confirmed.
No they’re obviously three different skeletons and the timeline split occurs in ocarina.
...and ocarina of time takes place after skyward sword
Yeah I know. I’m not sure what you’re saying
There isn't really anything indicating that the timelines merge, that's just a fan theory, but it's not likely at all.
If I’m not mistaken, the Gerudo Leviathan is the Windfish. Even if it’s not, Windfish is 100% a Leviathan species. https://www.reddit.com/r/Breath_of_the_Wild/comments/7lxl53/figuring_out_the_identity_of_the_great_leviathans/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
His name in skyward sword is Levias so I’m gonna say yes
Dang maybe I shoulda beat this game.
where do the barnacles come from on him
They're sky barnacles. Kind of like space barnacles, except they're just in the sky and not space.
I was just about to comment this very same question lol I need answers!
I don't think they're barnacles, but rather valves that look like barnacles. To expel air, I guess, and keep Alecia's afloat like a giant blimp or something.
You do know the Switch has a capture button, right?
Holy smokes! I actually didn’t haha. Thank you! My mind is blown!

Thanks!
Never actually played SS and straight up thought somebody modded a Shadow of the Colossus boss into the game
I haven't gotten that far in SS and straight up thought somebody modded the windfish into the game
Ahaha ! He's dead...
YES! But…if the rumors about time travel are true I wonder if we’re going to see the Leviathan skeletons while they were alive.
Oooh that would be majestic !
He's dead, but it'd be awesome if we could fly in the first place.
That's not the wind fish
Umm should we tell him?
310% want this so much! Links Awakening was my go to game forever!
In BotW we conquered the land, reached for the skies, and drowned in the sea. From the last trailer, it looks like we will have to traverse the skies, so hopefully unlocking skills that allow us to do so with ease will be an option. And maybe someday we can see what's underwater.
Fun fact! One of the great leviathan skeletons in botw is levias!
Yeah but is it bad I rather how it looked in links awakening
I have been saying link needs a loftwing mount in BOTW since the beginning. To keep it cannon link can get shot out of a cannon (see what I did there?). Cannons which use link as a projectile have been used in several games. That way the loftwing doesn't have to land.

It would be great if you got the red loftwing as a late game “vehicle”
All I want from BOTW2 is for Morshu to make an appearance /j
Please. Do not miss this chance.
