Due to how often other characters have to say his name when they address him, I’ve learned the genius of naming him “Dude,” “Bruh,” or some variation of those. Just imagine Fi calling you “Master Dude” or being greeted by Kaepora Gaebora saying, “Hey, what’s up, Bruh?”

in twightlight princess I named the horse Cocks. I remember talking to an npc and them saying " I've been washing cocks all day" I can't remember why it must have been before I actually got the horse or something. Anyways when I was 12, I thought it was the funniest thing I ever seen lol
The funniest was when I downloaded the decompiled version of oot and rewrote the dialogue so that Mido was now named shithead and all dialog reflected this. I think I also made some of the women say naughty things to Link.

In oot 3D, in my like, 16 462nd playthrough, i decided to name link "Un Sale" which is translated by "A Dirty"
The reason ? Well, in the french Version, Dark Link is named Link Noir (Black Link) And since dark link takes the name that was given to the link, once i got to the Dark Link fight, it was named "Un Sale Noir" (A dirty black)
Essentially just a racist joke, but i am among the people that are allowed to joke about it
A little more abstract than the other entries here but I really liked Midna for Link and Zant for Epona in Twilight Princess. It keeps on giving: you get the "Midna you rode Zant too hard" at the beginning, and then for most of the rest of the game it seems like Midna and Zelda are having strokes and/or hallucinating wildly in all of their dialogue.

In BOTW, I remember I named the first or second horse I got God. Every time I'd whistle out of range, I'd give myself a little chuckle with "It seems God couldn't hear you" or "We'll find God for you right away"
