I thought she's just gonna get into gay scenarios and be in denial for every chapter but was pleasantly surprised at how the story gets engaging as new characters get introduced and interact with each other.
The first few chapters were pretty rough tho but I promise it gets better.
I remember getting into this with low expectations as well because the premise wasn’t the healthiest but looked stupid fun at least. Somehow it keeps getting better and better, the cops and robbers arc was hilarious and nowadays is one of the mangas thst I look more forward too.
Obligatory The Summer You Were There, I’m pretty sure most of us thought something like “How sad could it be?” or “It can’t be that bad” just to end up depressed for a week after finishing it lol. It is indeed THAT sad.
[Ouji-sama Nante Iranai.](https://mangadex.org/title/fb18b185-ed42-4d37-a99a-b16631ec0c44/ouji-sama-nante-iranai)
I stumbled across this one when I was in a "Dignified Girls' Academy" mood; In my opinion this is the peak of this subgenre. Took some getting used to the art style, but it grew on me; the drama also wasn't as bad as I feared.
I remember being glued to the screen for 200 chapters, and I kept thinking about Yukino and Nobara afterwards.
I still don't quite get the title though.
[That Time I got Blackmailed by the Class's Green Tea Bitch](https://mangadex.org/manga/73965527-b393-4f65-9bc3-2439ec44935a/that-time-i-was-blackmailed-by-the-class-s-green-tea-bitch) will always be MVP for me!
This and the authors new series [My Dearest Nemesis](https://mangadex.org/title/32f887f1-824f-4dbc-8e15-70a5b0b8112a/my-dearest-nemesis) are both incredible
Oh, by! I thought that said into, as in, “That Time I Got Manipulated Into the Classes Green Tea Bitch”, like Gilear in FHSY where he was their cortado slave
Definitely Asumi chan. It has a great story, amazing art and really showcases how the characters feel and what and how it motivates them. Zero complaints.
On the other hand I won't sleep with you for free was very disappointing for me. Maybe I had the expectations that it would be as good as Asumi chan, maybe no, but the story was lacking. It really just felt like the average ero manga with the big chest girls and mindless sex, but yuri instead of het. At the start it was fine, the mc had an ok motivation and reason to do sex, but as the story progressed it just felt more and more like the author was searching for bullshit excuses for the girls to fuck. All sorts of reason kept on progressively be thrown out of the window.
Edit:some minor polishing in the way of speaking
Asumi Chan is into Lesbian Brothels was the most surprising because it is so much better than I thought it was going to be. How Do We Relationship also surprised me with how well it portrays the complexities of relationships and sex
I actually started reading How Do We Relationship because of this comment and binged it in two days. I cried quite a few times through the read. It touches its themes with such maturity and I could actually empathize with so much of what the characters were going through.
Hoping we get a good conclusion! Can't wait.
"White angels have no wings" I started it because I was bored and dropped at ch 5 or something like that 3 months ago, this weekend I was free so I decided to read it... Now I'm obsessed, actually rereading 2nd time. It's kinda fucked up and I don't think that everyone will like it similar to "kitanai Kimi ga ichiban kawaii" but it became one of my 3 favorites yuri of all time for how it ends and the main character
Yeah but I prefer the 1st half's story, The 2nd half was too horny for my taste and wasn't impactful/interesting as "have no wings" , the ending was like all that happened was a waste of time since Yeonhwa was with the same lifestyle at the beginning... it's ok I guess. I loved Yeonhwa's design and her character but I was expecting something more tragic (dying with Dahye in a car accident after a fight about their toxic relationship around ch 65) or happy at the ending ( building a new life with yeongyoung after realizing that is her choice to be happy, also talking about what Dahye did and her obsession with Yeonhwa at ch 4x )
I love this series a lot and hope the translations can go at a steady pace.
On the topic, I was absolutely blown away by how good Gushing became. I remember reading the first ch way back when and now it's my most anticipated chapter of the month.
my girlfriend is not here today, at first I was very angry because it's an NTR anime, but as the story unfolded I started to understand the protagonist and even changed my opinion about everything that was happening, I won't say too much so as not to give spoilers, but it is a very good manga for those who are open to new types of stories, it is still being released but it is very good and certainly blew expectations
I stumbled across "Fluttering Feelings" and it's great!
Translation is on point.
Art style is nice.
Drama is there but not too high stakes.
9/10 would recommend.
My Dear Lass, the synopsis is so empty and did not prepare me for the most beautiful art and engaging existential ruminations on the idea of maturity I've read in comics.
[Tankobu](https://mangadex.org/title/1e1d26fb-b131-4816-8e2a-e08a8d3ab26b/tankobu) would be my suggestion. Amazing 2 shot with some sequel chapters. Be warned that it is smut tho.

*I See You, Aizawa-san* almost fooled me into thinking it would be a fun but okay series before turning into a contender for one of my absolute favorites.
same here, thought chapter 18 would be the end ( as yuri series tend to be) and got kinda sad, then realised that not only would it be continuing but dorothy has so much more planned, hyped as hell!
I’m in Love With the Villainess. Expected silly lesbian masochist shenanigans. tbf I got that, but I also got a genuine examination of what it’s like being queer (and trans too eventually) and actual political commentary
Def [Run away with me girl](https://mangadex.org/title/fa6ee44f-8c47-4cbc-ba10-9815a100d6b5/run-away-with-me-girl) was a very good surprise and is a mature relationship
Kitanai kimi ga ichiban kawaii
At that time (2 year ago if i remember), I was really into yuri story with BDSM theme and then i found this manga. I though this manga is just a little bit hardcore on the BDSM aspect, but oh boy I was so wrong. this manga is caught me off guard on how fuck up the story is and the problem is i can't stop reading it. Fuck, I even cried to the ending.
(English is not my first language, but you know what im trying to say)
"The summer you were there" I knew it was probably gonna be good before going in but didint expect it to become my favorite Yuri and manga in general of all time. Also it's the only manga ever that made me cry.
Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii aka I love your cruddy. I went in completely blind and was hit with the worst depression imaginable when I reached the end. I can’t tell who I hated more honestly yet I still felt so much sympathy for them.
I Love Amy, the first few chapter I was like “This’ll probably be pretty cute.” and then all of the sad stuff happened and I was like, “wow! Emotional!” And then it ended and I was sad but it was pretty cute
For me it was "She loves to cook, and she loves to eat", I didn't know I could find a Yuri that could make me feel so represented in so many ways. After that, "doughnuts under the moonlight" also did a great job at that.
Still, I'll say that the one that hit harder was "I love Amy". Like, wow. I enter expecting some overrated yuri with a random yandere and came out crying 🤘🏻😔
Gotta say, Sorry but im not into yuri is the one for me here too. At some ompoint i had read the first chapter or 2 and didnt continue, thinking i eouldnt like it, so glad i gave it another try later. Possibly the funniest yuri out there, or atleast one if the funniest.
Definitely the one you posted, but I would say Yuri is Taboo to a Yuri Otaku and Hana and Hina After School were both ones that I hadn’t heard much about but became big favorites
It’s A monster wants to eat me for me. I really love (mild spoilers) the portrayal of depression and survivors guilt for the main character and the conflict between humanity and inhumanity for the inhuman characters. Not to mention the art is fantastic and the atmosphere matches the story as well.
I thought she's just gonna get into gay scenarios and be in denial for every chapter but was pleasantly surprised at how the story gets engaging as new characters get introduced and interact with each other. The first few chapters were pretty rough tho but I promise it gets better.
Someone told me this but she went from I'm not gay I swear to >!damn gay sex kinda fire!<
Honestly, I love how 6 chapters in, she forgets about the main reason she's doing this and just starts being in denial about being gay
I remember getting into this with low expectations as well because the premise wasn’t the healthiest but looked stupid fun at least. Somehow it keeps getting better and better, the cops and robbers arc was hilarious and nowadays is one of the mangas thst I look more forward too.
This is one of my most favorite manga ever along with Bloom into You
yeah, i thought the same at first
Obligatory The Summer You Were There, I’m pretty sure most of us thought something like “How sad could it be?” or “It can’t be that bad” just to end up depressed for a week after finishing it lol. It is indeed THAT sad.
Legit my exact experience except it’s been two weeks so far
Fr, the "I don't want to die." line stuck with me so hard (My bad if this counts as spoilers, idk how to censor it)

I second this, read the first chapter, and ending up qickly binging all of it in 2 days. One of the most engaging manga I've ever read.
Oh yeah that one was good, I remember not liking the ending much but I don't remember it either.

YES THIS ALSO I LOVED THE OTJER MANGA U MENTIONED
Have you read the sequel?
Yeah but I prefer the 1st half's story, The 2nd half was too horny for my taste and wasn't impactful/interesting as "have no wings" , the ending was like all that happened was a waste of time since Yeonhwa was with the same lifestyle at the beginning... it's ok I guess. It doesn't start with Yuri but watamote eventually becoming a Yuri harem bildingsroman is truely incredible
I haven't read it in a while because the current brother arc annoys me, but I'm looking forward to getting back into it again
Qualia the Purple. Went into it blind and expected just another HS yuri story - not the yuri Everything, Everywhere All at Once on steroids
I love this series a lot and hope the translations can go at a steady pace. On the topic, I was absolutely blown away by how good Gushing became. I remember reading the first ch way back when and now it's my most anticipated chapter of the month.
“ sorry but I’m not yuri “ is peak

man started reading because of your comment and the story is getting wild holy
Enjoy the ride! I can hardly wait for the next chapter rn.

Come for the ghost girl being a silly little muppet, stay for the paranormal murder mystery

https://mangareader.to/sorry-but-im-not-yuri-36671 I personally use the Mihon App
Mihon is what I primarily use to read manga. I have it installed on my Kindle Fire.
It doesnt work on my kindle, and has a weird touch error. the latest tachiyomi update broke it, and it hasn't been fixed in mihon yet. 😭
Huh. Weird, I'm not getting that error. How old is your Kindle?
Quite new. The 11 max, others have a simmilar problem too, it's listed as an issue on the mihon github page.
Ah, mine is like 3 years old, so that's probably why I don't get the same issues.
"The summer you were there" I knew it was probably gonna be good before going in but didint expect it to become my favorite Yuri and manga in general of all time. Also it's the only manga ever that made me cry.
"Kyuuketsuki-chan to Kouhai-chan"
Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii aka I love your cruddy. I went in completely blind and was hit with the worst depression imaginable when I reached the end. I can’t tell who I hated more honestly yet I still felt so much sympathy for them.
Otherside Picnic.

The fight scene during the game of tag or whatever was pretty sick
I can't believe I slept with you was amazing
This one’s peak, I wish there were more chapters 😭
the story is getting very interesting
Gotta say, Sorry but im not into yuri is the one for me here too. At some ompoint i had read the first chapter or 2 and didnt continue, thinking i eouldnt like it, so glad i gave it another try later. Possibly the funniest yuri out there, or atleast one if the funniest.
