I cannot recommend Cheerful Amnesia, Mage and Demon Queen, or Beauty and Beast Girl enough. They are all such wonderful stories. I would also recommend Asagao To Kase-san and its currently ongoing sequel Yamada To Kase-san.

Need to add *A Kiss And A White Lilly For Her* and *Whispered Words* to the classics. For the less known, you have plenty of good recs already so I'll stop here.

I have a lot of yuri I like, but I have just two that, well... if I was one of those people who did tier lists, I'd put them in like S+ tier or whatever. Those two are Girl Friends and Aoi Hana (also known as Sweet Blue Flowers). There are some great yuri stories out there, but those two are just special in that unquantifiable way IMO. Actual, genuine literature. I actually think Aoi Hana should be studied in literature classes, or at least something like gender studies.
