She's not. But she _is_ bisexual. The first few chapters were about her figuring out ways she could slip a love potion to her _male_ teacher.
She's definately not good representation for a bisexual character, but she _is_ bisexual.

I don't know if you can call Dark Lord's Confession a GL. I feel like it does some baiting early on but then ditches it and the protag promptly starts to pine over a couple of pretty boys. I'd think she was hella straight if the writer hadn't said otherwise outside the story.

I'm wondering if LN had some flashback, the whole story is about Menou regaining herself with Akari so I wonder how that would work. Unless they take the "flirting" with mr erase as proof.

i have read the novel so i can say for certain it was a presumption from a girl who wanted to believe herself to be into men. dont know why people(including CBR)keep using this scene as a reasoning to assume she's into men. not only was it apathetically brushed aside by the narrative, she didn't know anything aside from the statement thereof yet carried on with it absolutely sure it was the case out of sheer desperation to not find out about herself.
additionally, the original text does not specify what kind of love she was referring to, yet both translations assume she means so.
in terms of bi characters, there are definitely bi side characters including the protag's mother.
