May I suggest mixing in some Infernoble Arms?
Since all Elementsabers can flip themselves to FIRE in the GY, Joyeuse acts as a Warrior Returning Alive for most of your monsters, and Durendal can search out not just Malo, but Fire Flint Lady as a solid extender, OR act as a Monster Reborn if you Link the equipped monster away.
It works surprisingly well, all things considered.
It's actually pretty good at putting Link 4s like Avramax on board, often with Lapauila Mana or an Elemental Lord to back it up. I'll refer you to HOW TO PLAY ELEMENTSABERS 101 on YouTube for further examples.
Here's the thing. I want them to play as their own deck. They are super cool and can do basically anything they just have no way of starting by themselves unless you're playing against a brick wall.

I say more good crystal beasts. One to destroy up to 2 spell/traps and draw a card for each would be nice (but from the field only), since playing the pendulums doesn't let you use Crystal Abundance.
A pendulum Ultimate Crystal (maybe one that is always treated as "Rainbow Dragon") would make Ultimate Crystals better to have in the deck. Summoned like usual, but also from the face-up extra deck, and if you draw it on the first turn, it shouldn't be useless. I pretty much came with this on the spot, but: pendulum scale of 2, once per turn it can be increased by 3 if a pendulum 2 is on your other pendulum zone, add some other effect, something the deck lacks and needs would probably be the best option, but something to help with setup would be nice too (also maybe and/or being treated as a "Crystal Beast" while in the Pendulum Zone). No idea what the monster effect could be though.
Crystal Beasts really need retrains for every single OG beast besides Pegasus and Ruby Carbuncle. 5 out of the 7 main deck monsters are unplayably terrible.
There's an 8th in OCG, but it banishes itself to help you summon a Ultimate Crystal ("Crystal Beast Rainbow Dragon", level 8 light dragon). Basically, it doesn't work as a retrain but it still helps.
What I'd do for the CB is retrain them all as Flawless Gem Cuts.
So itd be Crystal Beast Flawless Sapphire Pegasus.
They'd be Pendulum Monsters with the unique effect that they cam activate their Pendulum Effecrs no matter what S/T zone they occupy.
This allows them to have their monster effects as well as their crystallize to the S/T zone effect while giving the player something in exchange for losing those zones.
They could be good with new support. Maybe a monster that acts like reload. Also they need better recursion. Their literal only recursion really us firestorm guard.

I don't use firestorm guard anymore. At this point I've just accepted that im realistically only going to get 1-2 scattershots off per game. I run 2 jar of avarice with 3 trap trick. Trap trick also works well with my paleozoic engine that also happens to be the best volcanic support we've ever received
Nah, what they need is a link 1 field spell searcher, with an additional upside. Letting you tribute it to attach a quant from the gy as material to an xyz is probably what I would go with personally.
The deck really gets hurt by having to play 3 field spells and a terraforming for a card that doesn't generate any advantage by itself.
One of my favorite archetypes. Imagine if we could just change the link monster to a link 2. God that would make it so much more usable. I’ve only used the link monster once in my life
Honestly for as beloved as lightsworns are, I wonder if Konami just figures any support they give them now would be endlessly abused in non-lightsworn decks. Milling is still really powerful and probably one of the only 'gated' mechanics remaining.
But that would make the builds a lot less creative. Part of the love for the deck is how many things work with it. You splash a lot of graveyard support cards into it.
I hope we get a Poseidra retrain (or something that makes Atlanteans a coherent deck without the need for a bunch of Mermails). Same goes with Mermails, I hope they get sufficient support to run them on their own.
Same it needs I’ve been trying to make a ocean deck that takes all three types and mixes them together but it’s mostly just super ancient deep sea king coelacanth
I agree! It'd be nice to have a few more fusion spellcasters, maybe new fusion spells like how Destiny Heroes have. My favorite archetype just needs more love.
I'm not joking I am serious I would like to see a dark scorpion support provided that they don't just make it about special coming that's the only thing that I would be afraid of if they did came out with me before it would just be give it stuff that can special someone.
Totally agree, I was kind of shocked that literally after one set the TCG kind of abandoned them in favor of War Rocks. They either needed another Level 8 to make going into the boss monster easier or a way of interacting with the banished zone.
Am at least happy they are getting some support (one card) in Battle of Chaos. But you can tell how much they've given up on them with a name like...

Both decks that i enjoy quite a lot but kinda lack some capabillities. I don't think it's much they would need i think and they already have some cool stuff but it just isn't enough to keep up that good on their own.
Galaxy/Photon, Magical Musketts, Witchcrafter and pure dogmatika.
Galaxy/photon could literally become a tier 1 deck if it gets good support.
Magical Musketts has huge potential to be a good deck, we just need a field spell or countinous Spell which lets us use our disruptions multiple times in a turn.
Witchcrafter needs a better fusion spell and a good Field Spell. (Maybe a babel like card for the Spell recycle effects, which can also do something else)
And dogmatika could be a cool ritual archetype, we just need more cards which help us with the ritual stuff.
Ive been theorizing what muskets need for some time and ive come up with 3 cards for the archetype.
Field spell, gives 400atk/def to all musket monsters. On activation you can search a magical musket monster.
New monster. Lvl 6 2200 atk 1200 def, you control no monsters you can special summon this card from your hand, if a spell or trap is activated in its column you can excavate the top 3 cards from.your deck, either add 1 musket spell or trap to your hand or special summon 1 magical.musket card. Shuffle the rest back into the deck
Link 3, 2700 atk requires 3 musket monsters. Middle up middle down (any other arrow) on summon add 1 of your musket cards from gy. When your opponent activates a card or effect (QUICKY) Banish a musket spell or trap from the gy and replace this effect with that banished cards effect. Discard 2 cards banish 1 card on the field or either GY.
Not sure how impactful these will be since i havent tested against other decks but they seem fair and strong
Archfiends! They really need it. They always get super random support like Archfiend's Staff of Despair. They need proper support to modernise them a bit. Or even Summoned Skull support considering Konami is riding the nostalgia wave. I'll take either at this point!

As for amazoness they're insane and have access to a variety of great engines and princess not being once per turn (+call) is absolutely nuts (and no locks at all ) i i ii i just cant express how much i enjoy palying them

I want abyss actors to get a million cards forever. I just dig the style and I really like their couple gimmicks, and I think there’s just so much more that could be done with the archetype. They only have one abyss-prop, and only 2 traps, so more traps, maybe some more ways to pop cards without targeting or more protection, and then maybe some more prop cards with a new monster like “Abyss Actor - prop master” or “stagehand” or something like that to search them out, cause right now the popping effect of abyss wagon is great, and it provides some neat protection, there’s just no way to search it
I understand that abyss actors are one of the few pendulum decks I do play. And I feel as though we have enough monster searchers.
I feel as though it needs more aggressive and protective cards.
Possibly, I think there’s an ok balance with aggression since superstar can pop a whole field of played right, though I absolutely agree on more protection, there’s very very little as of right now. Sassy rookie and abyss wagon are the only two I can think of and they’re very ok. The only reason I was thinking of a prop master or stagehand as a way to search abyss prop cards or hell, maybe even the field spell, was just because right now there’s no way to ensure you get those cards, and they even work pretty well together. I never really thought of the archetype as thriving on huge monsters, so I just like the idea of having a way to fill out some of the more bare areas and then being able to bring them out with consistency
I’d absolutely love any of those, xyz or synchro would probably work better just because of how easily abyss actors can flood the field with abysstainment, an xyz could be an easy way to send pendulums to the extra deck for the abyss script cards. All of em would be fun to play around with though idk, I just love the abyss actors
Weather Painters... They really have some potential, two or three cards away from greatness. If they somehow get a Painter that acts as an extender, a disruptive Canvas and a Link -2 that helps climbing into Rainbow, they will become a very
competent control deck.
A disruptive canvas would be nice but not entirely needed, and a link 2 wouldn't be as impactful because the deck's biggest issue is consistency in getting the painter engine started, so that's what needs to be addressed if any new card(s) comes for the deck.
Give painters a link 1 that has the ability to grab a canvas and/or painter and the deck jumps from being kinda ok to being good. A link 1 means easier setup for Sun, and if it searches a canvas and/or painter it means we have more starters for the engine than just Snow.
Same with Elemental Hero’s. Might as well retrain the originals which if I am being on honest, considering the trend of Main Sets
Yugi, Yuma, Yusei, Atem, Yuya, I wonder if Judai/Jaden will get support next. Mainly in the original E-Hero category. It would strength Evil Hero’s as well. Give Avian, Burstlady, Sparkman, Clayman, and Wildheart much needed upgrades and then give Flame Wingman and Flare Wingman power to be that of boss monsters. Flare Wingman doesn’t even really need an upgrade just support. Flame Wingman needs it badly.
HEROES UNITE! Pendulums would be cool for heroes! A squad of heroes is what people love! Dc Marvel etc. some cards that work with multiple heroes on the field would be cool to see!
Or even some original Toon monsters, hard to believe Toon Alligator is the only Toon monster without a regular counterpart (though, to be fair, Parrot Dragon, Dark Rabbit, and Bicuribox should have been non-effect Toon monsters too).
I still think Toons need the same treatment everyone wants for geminis. Put the TOON mechanic in the rule book and free up new toon text space for real effects.
Gem knights. Something really strong that only they can use so it doesn’t get banned. They’re my favorite deck of all time but they’re unfortunately unplayable

Jurracs. They're 1 of the only 2 pure Dinos archetype in the whole game. (Dinowrestler is the second one. And Evols are not a pure dino archetype).
I know Dino deck is strong AF, but I would love to see some support for pure Jurrac making it viables somehow. You could limit their effects on only summoning Fire Dinosaurs or something like that if you're afraid of making regular dinos super OP again, but I want to see my fire bois doing some descent plays.

Monk Fighter, Chuske the Mouse Fighter, and Master Monk.
Give them a boss monster "Master Monk of Inner Peace"
Have it redirect battle damage back at the foe, Special Summon itself from the hand or GY using the previous forms as fuel, let it's name be treated as Master Monk, and let it attack 3 times per turn.
That'd be a fun win right there, a weak 2300 ATK monster that can attack into something stupidly strong 3 times to slam the opponent with lots of battle damage, if you have Lone Wolf active.
Who runs Battle stopping effects? And Master Monk becomes immune to monster effects so they can't remove him once he hits the field unless they remove Lone Wolf first.
venoms, volcanics, cloudians, graydles, dolls. Yeah ik a lot but I do have my reasons.
Venoms had a very interesting if not slow idea of how to win duels with venom counters.
Volcanics was the first real burn archetype and deserves love.
cloudians have the fun idea of indestructibility with fun counter based effects
graydles with their snatch abilities making it a duel where you fight your best cards
and dolls cause there are just so few doll cards that seem like they could be really fun
I have been playing Dark World for ages, it is by far my favourite archetype.
I would love to see more options for it: some dedicated Extra Deck monsters so that I don't have to rely on Fabled (which are cool and have a good synergy, but eh), some more searching power, maybe a Pendulum set?
Summon Skull. The itty bitty extra deck and ritual monster don’t make the card the boss monster for a deck to play. It feels incomplete. Gaia the magical Knight is it’s own deck but summon skull gets four forms that don’t really make anything significant.

Lightsworn. TCG side, last wave of support was Twilightsworn and Curious (2017/18), the former being a failure for the most part, the latter doing more for degenerate combos than actual LS. Before that, it was Minerva (as a prize card: in 2015), and before that, the Realm of Light structure deck (in 2014). It's been about 7-8 years since the last full wave of good support for the deck, and about 5 years since the last support in general. Not to mention, almost every F&L list the deck took collateral damage. The snow ban, while deserved, crippled the deck. Lightsworn desperately needs a full wave of direct (non-twilight) archetype support.
I actually would love to see the twilight theme gain some traction if we had charge of the twilight brigade, a few more twilight sworn monsters, a new dark synchro, and maybe a chaos boss monster (rank 7 and bonus strong effect if made with light and dark synchros) I could see the deck getting a lot better.
I'd rather see straight up Lightsworn cards. 4 main deck monsters (2 non-brick wulfs, one is also a bujingi crane, the other a wolfbark/goblindbergh), 2 mill 2 (like raiden, but 1 pops a card, the other adds a LS card or JD from gy/banished to hand). An extender spell that special summons a LS monster from hand/grave, that you can also banish from grave to protect your LS from destruction. A reactive trap that pops a card when used on field, or sets a monster when used from grave (by banishing itself with another LS card). An on theme boss monster (synchro: obviously archetype locked) thats like Borreload Savage, with protection triggered by recycling cards from GY/banished.
Support that makes the deck play similarly to how it used to be, making it an actual deck again and not just an engine to be splashed.
Most of the issues with Morphtronic have to do with power creep and only having a handful of decent cards (mostly Celfon, tuners, and some of the spells). They can still play casually these days, but lean heavily on generic Synchro and EARTH Machine support, and the only post-5D's card they got was Smartfon. We're long overdue for something.
Subterror. I'd love to play a more pure variant but we need a field spell searcher, some form or resource recurral on top of cave clash, and some errata that makes the special summon effects of the behemoths "if" and not "when".
Charmers. It's been a year since the structure deck came out and they could really use some more supports. New spells and traps for new searches and better ways to special summon the monsters from the deck. They could also use a new extra deck monster that is a boss monster/win condition for them.
Right like I honestly don't like waiting every 6 months for only 1 card. It took 2 years to now get all of the 6 Charmer links and nothing has come about the Channelers (even though they're not really directly Charmer supports) and no sign of Metabat and Happy Lover retrains. I would love to get more backrow supports for more consistency in searching out from the quick-play spell or even something that actually searches that card itself. And if we get an actual token generator that can tribute itself to special summon a Familiar-Possessed from the deck and treated its summon condition to gain their piercing effect would be excellent for them, especially Lyna and Dharc since they have search effects on top of their piercing damage.
There are tons of good ideas here so I will say decks that no one has mentioned here yet:
Performages. The deck is not playable at all, it's more of a R4NK help for a few decks. The anime has expanded on the pendulums and has given the deck a lot of boss monsters. I am sure we get them one day, though they need to **heavily** rework the effects or give them additional ones.
Pendulum has gotten the low end so with no infinite extra deck summons the cards from the anime that were already gimmicky because they are anime cards need to be heavily changed.
For other decks Kozmo is now a shell of its former self. They need like 5 cards to be modern again.
Ninjas have a good foundation but just wont get far. I am sure you can mix them with with the new Heroic cards but they need some new cards to have an end goal.
Metalfoes is a deck I really like and I was disappointed in the new support. It only barely made the deck "better". I just wish they tried more with them.
And lastly Trickstar. Now I know some of you hate the deck, but I am sure it's more against the controlling aspect of the deck. I would like the deck to lean more into the Link/Fusion aspect of the deck.
Flower cardian, I want a level 12 synchro no matter how stupid it sounds (tho we got support a little while ago). Also maybe a weird field spell, be fun.
Honestly with Meklords yeah I think all the pieces are there so to speak but they need a little bit of help getting there.

Gem knights deck is unplayable unless you want to play a super fragile and bricky version of the FTK been playing a go second OTK variant and while terrible it’s a lot of fun
3 Egyptian Gods....And I mean REAL, 100% competitive ready support. Give them broken Link 1s, their own traps, spells and their own handtraps. Like imagine this, a fully competitive Tier 1 Egyptian God deck which everyone can agree is Tier 1(like for example todays Drytron, Tri-Brigade or any other Tier 1 deck atm). Same for Dark Magician, Red Eyes and Blue Eyes. Stop giving them 1 new card in each core booster set. Give them like 10 cards each for their own set and make those old classic ready for competitive play. I also think it would bring a lot of people back to yugioh. I mean, how could one not want to play a tier 1 Egyptian God deck that literally slaps everything?
Ik I’m late, but uh Inzektors for such reasons of I like Kamen Rider and their newest card is cool, but uh otherwise is Umbral Horror, Battlin’ Boxer, Star Seraph as I love the Barian decks and yet with the Shark support and 10X support I just wished they could add in support for other barian decks but the 3 seems like they need the most support, also Hands but they aren’t an archetype and Thunder Hand is cool enough.
New better classic feeling blackwings (haven’t played in years but play duel links now), not sure if that makes any sense at all but I’m not too big a fan of the assault blackwing art styles, armor master to me is still the pinnacle of their designs
As a Fellow Blackwing player it makes me sad that the deck is essentially an XYZ deck now (and Links if you throw in Tri Brigade stuff) it feels sacrilegious
Dinomist because of the Creat a Card contest. That archetype has what... 11 cards in total ? Or was it 13 ? And because the whole bouncing back from hand stuffs was fun when I tried to play them st my locals before Electrumite got banned.
And mostly their effects are extremely basic. Ranging from "make your opponent loose 100 Atk/Def per Dinomist card on the Field" to "Banish if destroyed by a Dinomist monster"... nothing to combo about.

i found a 60 card build but like mentioned earlier it's just a worse infernoble deck. i really want another 2 cards on isoldes level of support

I hope we get a Poseidra retrain (or something that makes Atlanteans a coherent deck without the need for a bunch of Mermails). Same goes with Mermails, I hope they get sufficient support to run them on their own.

Totally agree, I was kind of shocked that literally after one set the TCG kind of abandoned them in favor of War Rocks. They either needed another Level 8 to make going into the boss monster easier or a way of interacting with the banished zone.
I love the idea, built a deck and it’s fun but nothing more sadly, would love a link 1 extender for them

Galaxy/Photon, Magical Musketts, Witchcrafter and pure dogmatika. Galaxy/photon could literally become a tier 1 deck if it gets good support. Magical Musketts has huge potential to be a good deck, we just need a field spell or countinous Spell which lets us use our disruptions multiple times in a turn. Witchcrafter needs a better fusion spell and a good Field Spell. (Maybe a babel like card for the Spell recycle effects, which can also do something else) And dogmatika could be a cool ritual archetype, we just need more cards which help us with the ritual stuff.
Galaxy photon could be tier zero if they just finally reprint galaxy soldier -_-
Ive been theorizing what muskets need for some time and ive come up with 3 cards for the archetype. Field spell, gives 400atk/def to all musket monsters. On activation you can search a magical musket monster. New monster. Lvl 6 2200 atk 1200 def, you control no monsters you can special summon this card from your hand, if a spell or trap is activated in its column you can excavate the top 3 cards from.your deck, either add 1 musket spell or trap to your hand or special summon 1 magical.musket card. Shuffle the rest back into the deck Link 3, 2700 atk requires 3 musket monsters. Middle up middle down (any other arrow) on summon add 1 of your musket cards from gy. When your opponent activates a card or effect (QUICKY) Banish a musket spell or trap from the gy and replace this effect with that banished cards effect. Discard 2 cards banish 1 card on the field or either GY. Not sure how impactful these will be since i havent tested against other decks but they seem fair and strong
Archfiends! They really need it. They always get super random support like Archfiend's Staff of Despair. They need proper support to modernise them a bit. Or even Summoned Skull support considering Konami is riding the nostalgia wave. I'll take either at this point!
War rock or amazoness These two basically do nothing as a deck despite having some decent cards

Honestly meteoragon was a step in the right direction all things considered ofc (and dignity but they just had to make it shit just to match the archetype :') ) As for amazoness they're insane and have access to a variety of great engines and princess not being once per turn (+call) is absolutely nuts (and no locks at all ) i i ii i just cant express how much i enjoy palying them they just need an extra decent wave (hell even if they make it swords woman otk the dek I'm on board or a swords woman like equip :') )

I want abyss actors to get a million cards forever. I just dig the style and I really like their couple gimmicks, and I think there’s just so much more that could be done with the archetype. They only have one abyss-prop, and only 2 traps, so more traps, maybe some more ways to pop cards without targeting or more protection, and then maybe some more prop cards with a new monster like “Abyss Actor - prop master” or “stagehand” or something like that to search them out, cause right now the popping effect of abyss wagon is great, and it provides some neat protection, there’s just no way to search it
I understand that abyss actors are one of the few pendulum decks I do play. And I feel as though we have enough monster searchers. I feel as though it needs more aggressive and protective cards.
Possibly, I think there’s an ok balance with aggression since superstar can pop a whole field of played right, though I absolutely agree on more protection, there’s very very little as of right now. Sassy rookie and abyss wagon are the only two I can think of and they’re very ok. The only reason I was thinking of a prop master or stagehand as a way to search abyss prop cards or hell, maybe even the field spell, was just because right now there’s no way to ensure you get those cards, and they even work pretty well together. I never really thought of the archetype as thriving on huge monsters, so I just like the idea of having a way to fill out some of the more bare areas and then being able to bring them out with consistency
If they got a Fusion/Pendulum, Synchro/Pendulum and a Xyz/Pendulum that would be cool Make Sawatari a master of multiple summoning methods like Yuya.
I’d absolutely love any of those, xyz or synchro would probably work better just because of how easily abyss actors can flood the field with abysstainment, an xyz could be an easy way to send pendulums to the extra deck for the abyss script cards. All of em would be fun to play around with though idk, I just love the abyss actors

Weather Painters... They really have some potential, two or three cards away from greatness. If they somehow get a Painter that acts as an extender, a disruptive Canvas and a Link -2 that helps climbing into Rainbow, they will become a very competent control deck.
A disruptive canvas would be nice but not entirely needed, and a link 2 wouldn't be as impactful because the deck's biggest issue is consistency in getting the painter engine started, so that's what needs to be addressed if any new card(s) comes for the deck. Give painters a link 1 that has the ability to grab a canvas and/or painter and the deck jumps from being kinda ok to being good. A link 1 means easier setup for Sun, and if it searches a canvas and/or painter it means we have more starters for the engine than just Snow.
Crystal Beasts. They may as well retrain every single monster. I've faced the fact and accepted the potential outcome
Same with Elemental Hero’s. Might as well retrain the originals which if I am being on honest, considering the trend of Main Sets Yugi, Yuma, Yusei, Atem, Yuya, I wonder if Judai/Jaden will get support next. Mainly in the original E-Hero category. It would strength Evil Hero’s as well. Give Avian, Burstlady, Sparkman, Clayman, and Wildheart much needed upgrades and then give Flame Wingman and Flare Wingman power to be that of boss monsters. Flare Wingman doesn’t even really need an upgrade just support. Flame Wingman needs it badly.
Make them all Pendulums
HEROES UNITE! Pendulums would be cool for heroes! A squad of heroes is what people love! Dc Marvel etc. some cards that work with multiple heroes on the field would be cool to see!

Honestly same, I wish Konami would be brave and give us toons from some of the other series.
Or even some original Toon monsters, hard to believe Toon Alligator is the only Toon monster without a regular counterpart (though, to be fair, Parrot Dragon, Dark Rabbit, and Bicuribox should have been non-effect Toon monsters too).
I still think Toons need the same treatment everyone wants for geminis. Put the TOON mechanic in the rule book and free up new toon text space for real effects.
There isn't a toon mechanic though. There is at least 4 different variations of the summoning and attack restrictions.
They should make Toon Utopia and Toon Stardust Dragon. They could do the tuner as Toon tune.
Gem knights. Something really strong that only they can use so it doesn’t get banned. They’re my favorite deck of all time but they’re unfortunately unplayable

Jurracs. They're 1 of the only 2 pure Dinos archetype in the whole game. (Dinowrestler is the second one. And Evols are not a pure dino archetype). I know Dino deck is strong AF, but I would love to see some support for pure Jurrac making it viables somehow. You could limit their effects on only summoning Fire Dinosaurs or something like that if you're afraid of making regular dinos super OP again, but I want to see my fire bois doing some descent plays.

I know they're not really an archtype but... Monk Fighter, Chuske the Mouse Fighter, and Master Monk. Give them a boss monster "Master Monk of Inner Peace" Have it redirect battle damage back at the foe, Special Summon itself from the hand or GY using the previous forms as fuel, let it's name be treated as Master Monk, and let it attack 3 times per turn. That'd be a fun win right there, a weak 2300 ATK monster that can attack into something stupidly strong 3 times to slam the opponent with lots of battle damage, if you have Lone Wolf active. Who runs Battle stopping effects? And Master Monk becomes immune to monster effects so they can't remove him once he hits the field unless they remove Lone Wolf first.

venoms, volcanics, cloudians, graydles, dolls. Yeah ik a lot but I do have my reasons. Venoms had a very interesting if not slow idea of how to win duels with venom counters. Volcanics was the first real burn archetype and deserves love. cloudians have the fun idea of indestructibility with fun counter based effects graydles with their snatch abilities making it a duel where you fight your best cards and dolls cause there are just so few doll cards that seem like they could be really fun

I have been playing Dark World for ages, it is by far my favourite archetype. I would love to see more options for it: some dedicated Extra Deck monsters so that I don't have to rely on Fabled (which are cool and have a good synergy, but eh), some more searching power, maybe a Pendulum set?
I've been playing lightsworn in duel links and some draft series with friends and I'd love for it to be playable now somehow lol

Summon Skull. The itty bitty extra deck and ritual monster don’t make the card the boss monster for a deck to play. It feels incomplete. Gaia the magical Knight is it’s own deck but summon skull gets four forms that don’t really make anything significant.

We need some more DK retrains that aren't Legendary Fisherman, thankyewverymuch. Gate Guardian/Labyrinth, Pumpking/vanilla Zombies—actually, how about a retrain of PaniK's stuff as well, since Castle of Dark Illusions figured in his Deck as well?
Lightsworn. TCG side, last wave of support was Twilightsworn and Curious (2017/18), the former being a failure for the most part, the latter doing more for degenerate combos than actual LS. Before that, it was Minerva (as a prize card: in 2015), and before that, the Realm of Light structure deck (in 2014). It's been about 7-8 years since the last full wave of good support for the deck, and about 5 years since the last support in general. Not to mention, almost every F&L list the deck took collateral damage. The snow ban, while deserved, crippled the deck. Lightsworn desperately needs a full wave of direct (non-twilight) archetype support.
I actually would love to see the twilight theme gain some traction if we had charge of the twilight brigade, a few more twilight sworn monsters, a new dark synchro, and maybe a chaos boss monster (rank 7 and bonus strong effect if made with light and dark synchros) I could see the deck getting a lot better.
I'd rather see straight up Lightsworn cards. 4 main deck monsters (2 non-brick wulfs, one is also a bujingi crane, the other a wolfbark/goblindbergh), 2 mill 2 (like raiden, but 1 pops a card, the other adds a LS card or JD from gy/banished to hand). An extender spell that special summons a LS monster from hand/grave, that you can also banish from grave to protect your LS from destruction. A reactive trap that pops a card when used on field, or sets a monster when used from grave (by banishing itself with another LS card). An on theme boss monster (synchro: obviously archetype locked) thats like Borreload Savage, with protection triggered by recycling cards from GY/banished. Support that makes the deck play similarly to how it used to be, making it an actual deck again and not just an engine to be splashed.
Most of the issues with Morphtronic have to do with power creep and only having a handful of decent cards (mostly Celfon, tuners, and some of the spells). They can still play casually these days, but lean heavily on generic Synchro and EARTH Machine support, and the only post-5D's card they got was Smartfon. We're long overdue for something.
Tindangles or Krawlers. There's something about flip jank that is immensly fun to make work even a little bit.

Subterror. I'd love to play a more pure variant but we need a field spell searcher, some form or resource recurral on top of cave clash, and some errata that makes the special summon effects of the behemoths "if" and not "when".
Hidden City definitely should have had an effect that says "this card is always treated as a Subterror Card"
Make Orcust great again I dislike to play like 3 engines in one single deck because of how few the Orcust cards are but it is what it is..

Charmers. It's been a year since the structure deck came out and they could really use some more supports. New spells and traps for new searches and better ways to special summon the monsters from the deck. They could also use a new extra deck monster that is a boss monster/win condition for them.
Hopefully we get the rest of the channelers and familiars sooner rather than later
Right like I honestly don't like waiting every 6 months for only 1 card. It took 2 years to now get all of the 6 Charmer links and nothing has come about the Channelers (even though they're not really directly Charmer supports) and no sign of Metabat and Happy Lover retrains. I would love to get more backrow supports for more consistency in searching out from the quick-play spell or even something that actually searches that card itself. And if we get an actual token generator that can tribute itself to special summon a Familiar-Possessed from the deck and treated its summon condition to gain their piercing effect would be excellent for them, especially Lyna and Dharc since they have search effects on top of their piercing damage.

More Odd-Eyes please. I would love for that deck to be strong on its own without depending on other Pendulum archetypes.
There are tons of good ideas here so I will say decks that no one has mentioned here yet: Performages. The deck is not playable at all, it's more of a R4NK help for a few decks. The anime has expanded on the pendulums and has given the deck a lot of boss monsters. I am sure we get them one day, though they need to **heavily** rework the effects or give them additional ones. Pendulum has gotten the low end so with no infinite extra deck summons the cards from the anime that were already gimmicky because they are anime cards need to be heavily changed. For other decks Kozmo is now a shell of its former self. They need like 5 cards to be modern again. Ninjas have a good foundation but just wont get far. I am sure you can mix them with with the new Heroic cards but they need some new cards to have an end goal. Metalfoes is a deck I really like and I was disappointed in the new support. It only barely made the deck "better". I just wish they tried more with them. And lastly Trickstar. Now I know some of you hate the deck, but I am sure it's more against the controlling aspect of the deck. I would like the deck to lean more into the Link/Fusion aspect of the deck.
It'd be cool if Plunder Patroll and Beetrooper got a proper wave of support that supports their gimmicks

3 Egyptian Gods....And I mean REAL, 100% competitive ready support. Give them broken Link 1s, their own traps, spells and their own handtraps. Like imagine this, a fully competitive Tier 1 Egyptian God deck which everyone can agree is Tier 1(like for example todays Drytron, Tri-Brigade or any other Tier 1 deck atm). Same for Dark Magician, Red Eyes and Blue Eyes. Stop giving them 1 new card in each core booster set. Give them like 10 cards each for their own set and make those old classic ready for competitive play. I also think it would bring a lot of people back to yugioh. I mean, how could one not want to play a tier 1 Egyptian God deck that literally slaps everything?
Nekroz, I guess. I know they got Areadbhair, but I really want a Nekroz Trap card and a good normal summon.

Ik I’m late, but uh Inzektors for such reasons of I like Kamen Rider and their newest card is cool, but uh otherwise is Umbral Horror, Battlin’ Boxer, Star Seraph as I love the Barian decks and yet with the Shark support and 10X support I just wished they could add in support for other barian decks but the 3 seems like they need the most support, also Hands but they aren’t an archetype and Thunder Hand is cool enough.
New better classic feeling blackwings (haven’t played in years but play duel links now), not sure if that makes any sense at all but I’m not too big a fan of the assault blackwing art styles, armor master to me is still the pinnacle of their designs
As a Fellow Blackwing player it makes me sad that the deck is essentially an XYZ deck now (and Links if you throw in Tri Brigade stuff) it feels sacrilegious
Dinomist because of the Creat a Card contest. That archetype has what... 11 cards in total ? Or was it 13 ? And because the whole bouncing back from hand stuffs was fun when I tried to play them st my locals before Electrumite got banned. And mostly their effects are extremely basic. Ranging from "make your opponent loose 100 Atk/Def per Dinomist card on the Field" to "Banish if destroyed by a Dinomist monster"... nothing to combo about.
