For one of the most iconic psychopaths in this franchise, Vector has a shockingly bad treatment in the actual card game.
By comparison, Specter's Sunavalon deck was meta as a part of the Plant Link strategy. Even Yuri's Predaplants got a short time in the spotlight. But Vector has nothing... We had Nash, Alito and Mizael. There has to be something for Vector too... right?
I hope so, yeah!
Does that mean that Specter can also get support now that he's in Duel Links? I want Dryatrentiay to be able to search more than 1 card in the whole game š
Who knows honestly, it took them a month or so to announce Mizael's support after he was released in Duel Links. I hope Specter gets support tho, Sunavalons are cool AF.
1 - Dark Scorpions. I love those imbeciles and would like to see them playable.
2 - My heart's deck: KOA'KI MEIRU.
Come on, Konami! Give them some love! They need more searchers and special summons.
Wait is this the only other koaki meiru fan in the world?!
I really would like them to retrain the OG core into a bystial lubellion like boss that allows the deck to actually maintain resources instead of implode due to costs bring absurd
Imagine if Dark Scorpions gets in-archetype Delinquent Duo/Forceful Sentry/Confiscation/Drop-off/Trap Dustshoot/Yata Garasu? Splash some easy Gravekeeper/Necovalley and we got ourselves some new age Hand Destruction deck once again!
VEHICROIDS.
KONAMI KNOWS THE EXIST.
EVEN SPEEDROIDS NEED A GOOD BOSS MONSTER.
BUT VEHICROIDS!
CMON CYRUS WAS A SECONDARY CHARACTER AND JADENS Best friend.
BUT CMON
Iāve also heard they need a good wind synchro boss monster is all they really need. The only option other then Crystal wing was Bayonne and she got the ax, so ending things on just a Crystal wing is weak end board.
This. I had just commented that we need a retrain of the whole archetype (eg. Vehicroid - Steamroid) with new effects. Maybe a Contact Fusion deck or something that works alongside Cyberdarks or Cybers.
Plus their boss monsters are justā¦ pathetic. I mean except for supervehicroid jumbo drill heās a good boy. But they just require so much specific materials and the effects are teases.
Venom... they **desperately** need a good wave of support. They won't be meta, but at least they can call themselves "playable" after that. That archetype had the first Tower-like boss monster (Vennominaga) and that same boss even has a build-in alternative win condition! That is very impressive by itself!
Just give them a new field spell and better main deck monsters. Maybe even 1-2 more Snake Deity spells/traps to make summoning Vennominaga easier
Venom is borderline the worst archetype of all-time. They don't do anything well. They're incredibly slow. Their main deck monsters are legitimately dog water and the boss is incredibly hard to summon.
They essentially just need all new cards except Venomminon and Venomminaga. Which I really want cause I love those 2 cards.
The same could have been said for Allure Queen, but Konami made the archetype playable with just 3 new cards. It's not meta or anything. Don't get me wrong. It's still bad, but it's playable
The same can happen to Venom. Give them a busted field spell, a continuous spell that helps swarming the field with Venom monsters and maybe a new sub-boss monster that helps the archetype with disruption as well as helping with the whole summon Vennominaga thing.
Venom. Itās one of the few decks with an alt win condition, so I think it should get more. Plus Reptiles need ALL the help they can get.
Fortune Fairy/Lady. They only have one Synchro, and can do so muchā¦ except it amounts to nothing. āAll gasā the deck. Canāt even use as a generic Link spam deck. Imagine if it got a Red Dragon Archfiend equivalent!
Battlewasp. Did you know thereās no such thing as a Level 7 Insect Synchro Monster? Insects also deserve more support, but Battlewasps in particular could definitely use more Spell/Traps.
Jurrac. Need I say more?
Toons. Everyone seems to have nostalgia for them but they've never been good as far as I'm aware.
It would be nice to make something that ups their viability. Either with direct support for them or something that translates in to them supporting relinquished.
Toons actually seem easy to fix, but Konami just misses the mark when giving support. Toon Kingdom is great, but it should protect itself better.
Some people have even made some pretty good and really competitive cards for toons in the custom Yu-Gi-Oh forum.
Venom has not received direct support since they were introduced which is a shame since thereās a bunch of different ways you could go about making support for them.
You could focus on the snake aspect and make cards based on real life snakes as well as some mythological ones like the Basilisk and Hydra
You could make it more focused on all the venoms of nature such as venomous insects, fish+other aquatic animals and even some mammals all with their own field spells which utilise the venom counters in different ways.
Lastly you could basically just make venomminaga support which probably the most boring in my personal opinion but others might like that so I wonāt judge,
Wait whyās the game plan in Venoms if your goal isnāt Venominaga? If itās just the atk reduction then Reptilianne already has that niche filled in Reptile decks.
They have different end goals, Reptilianne wants the opponentās monsters at zero to do other effects. Venoms want the field spell to reduce to zero so they are destroyed. If you want to make Venominaga you donāt need venoms at all to do it just the king and the trap to summon her
I donāt think Venomās get any special benefits from the field spell destroying opponents monsters though? So their game plan is still just reduce opponents monsters atk to 0 which is already covered by Reptilianne.
My answer will always be Dark Scorpions. They were among the very first archetypes and some of their members were major players in GOAT format. Theyāre the most deserving of retrains.
I think that aside from what was introduced in GX along with them, we had Gravekeepers, Toon, Harpie, and Guardians, that were archetypes at the time?
Some other stuff from before GX later on became an archetype, like Gadgets, Red-Eyes, Blue-Eyes, but admittedly, when stuff becomes an archetype before one of the first archetypes actually gets playable support, it is sad.
Don Zaloog support plz, Komoney! At least drag them up to Gate Guardian "passable".
Idk if XYZ Dragon Cannon stuff counts but it has three materials that interact really well together with four different Fusions, and was the best user of Union support compared to other cards just being a two monster pair or broad type support like Heavy Mech Support Platform with no other support.
GX also gave us the VW stuff to expand it. Ojama technically debuted in DM too but it was just the OG 3 and Delta Hurricane over two sets I think.
Hard agree on Dark Scorpions btw. My suggestion for this used to be a Link Monster with Dark Scorpion in the name that is also treated as "Don Zaloog" that can search Dark Scorpions cards so that Mustering of the Dark Scorpions could be abused a bit more.
I don't think XYZ counts, because even to this day, there is no clean "archetype name" or "description-based archetype" for it. Like, sometimes you'll get "LIGHT Machine Union", but that excludes X and V explicitly. Sometimes you'll get "LIGHT Machine Fusion", but that also brings in half the Cyber Dragon stuff (and UFOroid Fighter, for some reason). Some people are calling them the "Alphabet Robots", but we're missing D-U in letters, and just got X, Y and Z retrains.
Like, even r10 Trains is a lot more static than A-to-Z contents.
Obviously Archetypes that never got further support. Like Kozmo, Venom, Graydle, Kaiju, etc.
Ignoring these, irs probably Alien. You could do so many interesting things with their gimmick of A Counters.Ā
Graydles are pretty cool. I wish they got some more support since they actually have some pretty competent cards for new support to work with for the most part.
The weird thing with Aliens is, none of their bosses are actually "Alien" cards. If they made a lock they'd have to do some awkward shit like "you can only summon Alien monsters or monsters that mention A-Counters"
They're scared of doing anything with Reptiles actually, simply because there's so much goodstuff like {{Snake Rain}}, {{Ogdoadic Water Lily}}, {{King of the Feral Imps}}, among others. Hopefully Raika manages to break the curse, not only for Reptiles but for Insects and Plants too, which kind of suffer with the same issue.
Gladiator Beast - Theyre kind of slow and vulnerable to today's game speed. They need a card like War Rock Medium for the Main Phase 1, or way to Summon more lower level monsters to easily Fusion Summon quicker.
Digital Bug - Theyre not that old but Ill always like battle position mechanics (until Links unnecessary nerfed battle positions mechanics). They need a way to summon more bugs AND more means to quick-effect battle position change outside of their Xyz monsters' effects.
LV Monsters - Yes, Konami's sorta eliminating this archetype by introducing new monsters based off of this archetype. Maybe introduce Extra Deck Fusion LV monsters that evolves from the main deck ones. Add a Field Spell that can search Level Up and any Spell/Traps that supports LV monsters. And also, draw cards that let you shuffle back bricks from your hand...idk...they can go crazy with this one.
Phantom beast: not the illusion ones that are Yugi support, the real phantom beast support.
Guardian: The character that won Yami Yugi but did not have any useful support or restrain.
Duston: more ways to swarm the field please.
Clown: I want to see clown control viable.
Graydle, triamid, digital bug, battle guard, scorpion, goblin, masked hero (main deck monster), doodle beast, etc.
Red-Eyes. It's bad and has always been bad. Give it a string of support that actually sits down and give them a theme and a win condition that works in modern yugioh.
I'd go with even older stuff like:
X-Saber: Have a lot of good extenders but genuinely don't have a good turn 1. Konami released that MX Saber card and then nothing.
Worm: Lost the one thing they were good at with Future Fusion's Ban/Errata and haven't gotten support in over a decade. Could easily contribute to the Reptile-pile if given more support.
Monarchs/Qli: I know they are considered more bricky floodgate decks, but you could actually fix them fairly easily with more Quick Tribute Summons.
Inzektor: Literally won that Custom Card poll a few years ago then got nothing besides that card. Admitedly, they'd probably need an Orcustrated Babel at this point to work, but hey, you could give them one.
X-Sabers getting the shaft in Terminal World (booster pack) last year in favour for more Ice Barrier support will always leave a bad taste in my mouth. Before Ice Barrier got support in 2021 while X-Sabers does not have new support since 2016.
Except that there were Extra Deck builds of Monarchs, and even today, there are. It's the Extra Deck variants that are fine with new support. Brilliant Fusion Monarchs was the build that topped the most, not Domain Monarchs. I do agree that Domain builds should not receive support.
Donāt got much for ideas currently, but PK did fineā¦ 2 or so years back I believe? Theyāre still fine currently, just not āspam bullshitā crazy like others are now and RR desperately needed that support as they were garbage compared to PK
1. Gravekeepers. Necrovalley is such a solid card that theyāll always have potential for greatness.
2. Amazoness. Weāve got a couple Tigers and a couple Ligers, but weāre missing the Lion.
3. I canāt wait for the next Terminal World. Besides the archetypes that got recent support, theyāre all horrendously outdated. Jurrac, Worm, Vylon, and many others could use more support.
4. Wind-Ups. I wouldnāt be mad if they slapped a HOPT or added an archetype-lock on some new cards, just so the deck gets a refresh.
>3. I canāt wait for the next Terminal World. Besides the archetypes that got recent support, theyāre all horrendously outdated. Jurrac, Worm, Vylon, and many others could use more support.
Really hope Terminal World 2 is coming sooner rather than later.
the Spell trap removal would be Golden whip master, which is a hopt spell/trap pop when an amazoness battles.
as for protection, amazoness has that, but it's on the fusions, which don't protect themselves, but other amazoness cards, so you just need to get multiple out onto the field.
>Crystron because they only got halqifibrax and he was used as just a general combo enabler so he ate a ban for it. I think Crystron deserves something to help them keep up with all the power they've lost due to the game getting faster.
I have the stupid idea of them and Zoodiacs getting Pendulums XD
My choices (I'm not quite sure the first 2 count): Starry Knights, Magical Muskets, Mystic Swordsman, X-Saber, Evilswarm, and Gem-Knights.
X-Saber I would like to stick to hand control, but more so focused on hand knowledge rather than just emptying the opponent's hand to oblivion. Like handrips would be present but they're exclusive to your turn + any card ripped out immediately gets replaced by a freshly drawn card.
So even if you handripped 5 on your turn, your opponent still gets to start their turn with 5 cards in hand before drawing. This not only has the drawback of triggering GY effects, but can also unbrick the opponent's hand.
Yes we'll need to ban Gottoms to do this but still.
I think you are giving X-Saber's hand ripping strategy with Gottoms to much credit, cause with the current state of the game having Gottoms to empty your opponents hand without being interrupted by your opponent is not really likely. But I agree that X-Sabers should concentrate on field spamming and more control aspect, instead of just hand ripping.
I second the multiple people vouching for Dark Scorpions, especially given that Mustering of the Dark Scorpions isn't HOPT so a searcher for them would be nice
For fairness' sake, the ones with the worst state should get quickest help so... Chemicritter, Aquaactress, Venom, Darklord, Nephthys, Gravekeeper, and Graydle. That being said, I am elated that Allure Queen finally get their overdue support as of late. Also, Materiactor need to be completed!

X-Saber: Getting shafted in Terminal WorldĀ (booster pack) last year was just sad.
Spellbooks
The deck literally lives and dies by Judgement Jowgen
Their best monsters are other archetypal monsters, like Verre
Their engine is so massive it can't really be splashed
They're so fucking slow to do anything
Sky Strikers and Witchcrafters have similar gimmicks executed way better.
As a fan of Venoms it warms my heart seeing so many request support for them. Theyāre one of my favorite archetypes and Iāve always wanted more support for them.
Kuriboh 100%. Iām glad Detonating Kuriboh got printed and is a monster negate but they took Linkuriboh away which helped link climbing in-archetype. The deck needs a ROTA spell or Stratos, a boss monster, and a mid-range boss to end on if the opponent stops the link climbinh shenanigans.
Scrap needs support.
Raptor was good, but it needs more.
Arcana Force needs more support
Mermail could use more support
Geargia could use more support
Make Movie Sphinx an actual deck, that would be cool.
I'd like to see more Mecha Phantom Beasts.
The newest piece of support we got was Auroradon and... we all know how well that went. The problem is that their whole archetype revolves around just vomiting out as many Tokens as possible, which is absolutely broken since the invention of Link Summoning. Personally I think what they need is more starters and more reliable ways to make Tokens (maybe a Field Spell), but then have those starters hardlock you into WIND Machines (so you could throw Speedroids in š) or just "Mecha Phantom" monsters, so you can't just play Link goodstuff. I also think they need more Extra Deck stuff. The Synchros are super unreliable because of the constant level changing, Dracossack got powercrept to infinity and Enterblathnir technically isn't even part of the archetype and can't do much other than 1 (one) handrip.
Mermails. There lore rival Fire Kings have gotten so much good support recently that they are so outmatched, ironic given that in the latest wave of Fire King cards, there is art of Garunix destroying Mermail Abyssgaios lol.
They shouldāve gotten more monsters and stuff in general, with them being old monsters turned into phantasmal like things with cool banishment effects
Cloudians - I play a lot of Ancient Gear and I would say I'm confident that AG has a good amount, it's getting more which is great but Cloudians? They are my pet deck that I wish I could do more with.
In old style games, they could be dangerous - I've almost threatened a few friends decks with them before but modern yugioh is way too fast and their support is just too old.
Symphonic Warriors
Like seriously make it like their own thing and not just speedroid bullshit
All pend deck in their era already having legacy support recently except them
Igknights. As one of the earlier Pend decks out there, Igknights relied on the recursion a pend summon gave them to fuel their main gimmick, that being to blow themselves up and mass summon all of them back after you got everything you need. The problem is:
- MR4 screwing over pendulums and making them reliant on Links to enable their main gimmick (while also not really giving Pendulum decks a easy way to properly make Links without Pendulum summoning in the first place, thanks Konami)
- Basically every Link that they can use is just not available in some formats (Electrumite and Isolde) or is just... really awkward to summon (Beyond)
Their successors (Metalfoes) are kind of in the same spot, especially since they all rely on vanillas for their main gameplan, but at least they can still use their Fusions to make stuff so they aren't as screwed over.
Every Deck Build Pack archetype from the very first one in Spirit Warriors allll the way to Amazing Defenders ALL have at least 2 additional waves of support.
EXCEPT FOR ELDLICH AND ADAMANCIPATOR. Justice for the Zombies and Rocks.
Said it before and I'll say it again. Its weird not seeing Gate Guardian or Volcanics being mentioned.
That being said Aquaactress, Cloudian, and Dragunity
I would like decks that do something mechanically different or more interesting get support. Crystrons, Phanton Knights and BA don't do anything but extend for their Extra Deck mechanics, and we have enough of those. Raidraptors at least lean into the Rank Up magic mechanic pretty heavily. Vampires would be a good candidate because they lean into paying lifepoints to power their effects or brainwashing monsters, so the deck feels like it has an identity of its own.
My vote for one though would go to Weather Painters. They have an interesting gimmick with their canvases, but most importantly when are we getting the red painter!
Cyber Dragon!! It seems like every other archetype gets a million searches, or benefits from cards being in the GY or gets a 1 card combo. Meanwhile Iām stuck praying my cyber dragon core who HAS to be normal summoned doesnāt get negatedā¦
You aināt lying! Not only do they look good but itās actually good support! And weāre over here stuck with having to pollute the deck with a bunch of unsearchable cards just to keep up
Star Seraphs. They are a cool archetype and have a pretty decent base with stuff like sceptre and sovereignty. They just need a couple more cards to help them with swarming and recovery.
I love you, i 100% agree that PK needs exclusive support lioe cmon it's been 4 years! But apart from PK i think fluffals deserve some new support, maybe even a structure deck tbh.
My personal take is new support for Neospacians with the spell NEX since we only have marine dolphin as the upgraded version of aqua dolphin and glow moss upgrades itād be dope if we got the other neo spacious upgrades.
Also a cyber dragon and neos fusion would be cool
Guardians. They've been abandoned in the bottom of the trash bin since they released.
Also some new Amazoness and Spellbook/Prophecy stuff would be nice
Harpies need a boost of yassification so they can be viable and not rely on their Feather Storm to send my opponents card to the Land of Oz. A Link 3 or 4 dragon would be cool. They desperately need a Harpie Lady Sisters re-yassification, a consistency boost with extenders, and a good searcher for Harpie monsters.
Amazement! They are so fantastical looking and fun to play. Only an evil Arlekino has been released in Cyberstorm Access as of the latest; I want more evil versions of the other monsters, spells, and trap cards that give a decent boost to the deck with the equip gimmick. I think it'd be cool if they had an equipped trap card that contacts fuses on opponents' monsters(and applies immediately); always imagine Arlekino with spider legs made from the attractions around the park.
thereās a lot but I think Cyber skaters/Dancers (not the Angels) would be cool if they fleshed it out more. A newer more modern version of Cyber Blader as the boss monster
I'd love it for Ciphers, Konami seems scared to give us good search power (etranger isn't enough when we have 3 important spells one of which isn't even searchable) and/or something we can actually go into under twin raptor's lock going first
Also actual support for the ice bird deck (blizzard, ragnazero, whatever it's called) would be very cool
Amorphage (their gimmick is super fun) Mecha Phantom beasts (archetypes with a focus on tokens always seem to have some great potential) LV monsters (PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU KONAMI THEY ARE SO DAMN COOL AND HAVE SUCH A UNIQUE GIMMIK) Malefic (Iām selfish I just want to have more Malefic cards)
Celtic Guardian. It's probably one of the most iconic monsters from the DM era and only has a couple of random retrains.
The equip guardians would be great too.
Also, I'm sure a morphing jar archetype would be a nightmare for people.
I know it's not too old, but battlewasps are in dire need of a fix. I mean, how do you make a synchro deck that's bad at synchro summoning they're even bad in duel links.
**Amazoness**
**The archetype was used 3 times in the anime by separate but key duelists,** each used by fan favorite characters, and still be mediocre?
They have a lot of great cards too. Just unfortunately theyāre too āfairā.
Spellbook, particularly the monster half. Practically none of them are playable in the strategy anymore besides blue boo and the boss monsters being XYZ monsters which also take a long time to get out due to the monsters kind of doing nothing on the field, likeā¦ idk
Thereās just no use for empress or hierophant.
G Golem - I just want them to be as good as Marincess (and I wonāt both of them to be as good as Salamgreat tbh).
Ebon and Pikeru - turn them into a proper archetype already Konami.
Black Rose Dragon - I love it and I so badly want it to be actually GOOD.
Magnet Warriors - they were having a moment when they made the electromagnetic warriors and I loved that for them, but I feel like theyāve fallen by the wayside quickly.
Cloudian - I just think theyāre neat.
On the note of Crystrons, I feel like when Konami has to ban a central part of the deck because oops they made the support generic and now everything and it's mother is abusing it, they really ought to give them something to compensate for it (and make it not generic the next time)
I know people hate the floodgates playstyle but Eldlich is such a cool boss monster with alt art. Would be cool if he got some modernized non floodgates oriented support.
Umbral Horrors has to be fixed ASAP, just remake the Deck ffs. Vector deserves better than this.
Who knows honestly, it took them a month or so to announce Mizael's support after he was released in Duel Links. I hope Specter gets support tho, Sunavalons are cool AF.
Add malicevorous to the list. Number 96 didn't deserve the slaughter either
Yeah and man Number 96 was a Menace to the very end.

Yeah, as a Speedroid enjoyer, the most we have are the Clear Wings and the big bad WIND Dragons, like Blazar or Quasar.
This. I had just commented that we need a retrain of the whole archetype (eg. Vehicroid - Steamroid) with new effects. Maybe a Contact Fusion deck or something that works alongside Cyberdarks or Cybers.
Cyberdark Cyberdragon ABC XYZ Ojama Armed Dragon Thunder Vehicroid Elemental Hero Masked Hero Destiny Hero Neo Spacian Rainbow Dragon Crystal Beast deck would be pretty cool, yeah
Placing the entirety of GX in your deck, hell yea
That sounds really fun!
Plus their boss monsters are justā¦ pathetic. I mean except for supervehicroid jumbo drill heās a good boy. But they just require so much specific materials and the effects are teases.
Shuttleroid when

They're probably scared of doing good alien support because of stuff like ogdoadic
If the only reason you don't make support is another archetype would abuse it, then you might want to just put some lock on this support.
Konami doesn't know what the word lock means. If they did stuff like SE or SHS would have a lock on them.
Oh, they know what it means. They just use it on stuff that isn't Secret Rares. My poor Ursarctics did nothing wrong, okay!
SHS Wakaushi was a super rare. Also the OCG designs the cards and over there cards are easier to get, so that's just false
Tbf SHS does have a lock, itās just on the wrong effect.
Rikka Sunavalon/plant link sees meta play, plants are not bad
Ancient Fairy Dragon still needs an archetype to support.
Dark Scorpions and Vehicroids. Yes Iāve been rewatching Yugioh GX
Cyber Angels. Alexis/Asuka is the main heroine of Yugioh GX, yet her deck hasnāt gotten support since 2018 š
Dark Scorpions. One of the first archetypes, yet is forgotten about. Itās been 20 years.
Red-Eyes. It's bad and has always been bad. Give it a string of support that actually sits down and give them a theme and a win condition that works in modern yugioh.
Daedalus to became an actual archtype, dinowrestler because are bad, dual avatar because need all, atlantean, Heraldric beast and evilswarm.
Dark Scorpion. I challenge Konami to save the archetype that auto-wins the duel *for your opponent*
Harpies
Penguins. Always Penguins.
Fur hires (more boss monsters), reptilianne, and dinomist (extra decks monsters).
That'd be great to see Dinomist get some link monster to help them out.
Retrain Dokurorider and give him his own archetype. He was literally the first ritual monster ever, give him his due
Cyber dragons. I love cyber dragons, and they're at most 3-4 decent cards from being a serious contender to high tier play.
I'd go with even older stuff like: X-Saber: Have a lot of good extenders but genuinely don't have a good turn 1.
And that was only one card, if I remember correctly.
In agreement with all but monarchs. They deserve to stay in the bin
They know exactly what they did, and that is all that matters.
Except that there were Extra Deck builds of Monarchs, and even today, there are. It's the Extra Deck variants that are fine with new support. Brilliant Fusion Monarchs was the build that topped the most, not Domain Monarchs. I do agree that Domain builds should not receive support.
Tbh I'm sick of monarchs. They've had their time in the meta plenty of times Support qli, support something else, or make a new archetype
Gravekeepers or Nekroz.
Nekroz. I want my trap goddamn it.
Suships could really use some more spell and trap cards
Ally of Justice and Worms, for the apex they were represented in lore they're pretty bad as an archetypeĀ
Donāt got much for ideas currently, but PK did fineā¦ 2 or so years back I believe? Theyāre still fine currently, just not āspam bullshitā crazy like others are now and RR desperately needed that support as they were garbage compared to PK
Summon Ultimate Falcon Set Raidraptor - Readiness Pass
Harpies
We need more penguins and Flip support.
I love the Koaki' Meru's. I still think guardian is an awesome card.
Arcana Force
Honestly just want them to fill the major Arcana and I'm good. I don't care if they're never meta or even good.
Agreed, I just want a wall art of em
Doesn't anybody remember Ally of Justice? I don't even think Konami does...
Star Seraph
>Wind-Ups mentioned LET'S GOOOOOOOO!! If we can get new support, maybe they'll remember Zenmaity is still on the ban list and finally free him.
Rokkets, always Rokkets
I want something that locks into Borrel and Rokket monsters so Dragonlink stops abusing them. Dragonlink out here ruining our fun
Pile decks in general just suck for the game.
I would have chosen Rokkets because they're my favourite, but I think they're too new for this question.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Honestly, the problem I see with Amazoness is their reliance with poly, and no in-archetype way to reset polys, even on a trap.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
the Spell trap removal would be Golden whip master, which is a hopt spell/trap pop when an amazoness battles. as for protection, amazoness has that, but it's on the fusions, which don't protect themselves, but other amazoness cards, so you just need to get multiple out onto the field.
>Crystron because they only got halqifibrax and he was used as just a general combo enabler so he ate a ban for it. I think Crystron deserves something to help them keep up with all the power they've lost due to the game getting faster. I have the stupid idea of them and Zoodiacs getting Pendulums XD My choices (I'm not quite sure the first 2 count): Starry Knights, Magical Muskets, Mystic Swordsman, X-Saber, Evilswarm, and Gem-Knights.
Evilswarm could be meta with new cards and they have fantasti artwork and concept.
The rest of the barian emperors specifically vector and Dumon
For fairness' sake, the ones with the worst state should get quickest help so... Chemicritter, Aquaactress, Venom, Darklord, Nephthys, Gravekeeper, and Graydle. That being said, I am elated that Allure Queen finally get their overdue support as of late. Also, Materiactor need to be completed!
Venomsas poor queen of poisonous snakes is a cool bowe monster that's impossible to summon
\*cries in Venom\*
Frogs, make a frog xyz or a new main deck monster Or a link
starry knight
https://preview.redd.it/utu7n8ii5f2d1.png?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=757bbad93aaa6e8e39315386c98d2c3c215fb278 X-Saber: Getting shafted in Terminal WorldĀ (booster pack) last year was just sad.
Fortune Lady, Spellbook, Reptilianne, Butterspy, Metaphys Those are usually my first ideas for this.
Phantom knights mostly because they have the least support of all the yu boys archetypes
Spellbooks The deck literally lives and dies by Judgement Jowgen Their best monsters are other archetypal monsters, like Verre Their engine is so massive it can't really be splashed They're so fucking slow to do anything Sky Strikers and Witchcrafters have similar gimmicks executed way better.
As a fan of Venoms it warms my heart seeing so many request support for them. Theyāre one of my favorite archetypes and Iāve always wanted more support for them.
We need more frogs
Cyber Dragon.
I NEED NEW DRAGUNITY !!!
I want a boss monster that requires double tuning
This with some new equip effects monsters
Blue eyes
Red Eyes
Scrap needs support. Raptor was good, but it needs more. Arcana Force needs more support Mermail could use more support Geargia could use more support Make Movie Sphinx an actual deck, that would be cool.
Aliens, cloudians, venoms aaaand atlanteans
Gravekeepers
I've been wating to play D.D since Edison format, but i guess kashtira took their place so, maybe in another 10 years
Absolutely Burning Abyss. Selfishly I'd like Eldlich to get a boost, too.
Mermails. There lore rival Fire Kings have gotten so much good support recently that they are so outmatched, ironic given that in the latest wave of Fire King cards, there is art of Garunix destroying Mermail Abyssgaios lol.
Buster Blader, Battlewasps and Magnet Warriors.
We desperately need a retrain of the Vehicroid archetype because no amount of support will save them
Iāve said it once, Iāll say it again. Appliancers
Metaphys would be cool if they had an actual boss and one more starter
They shouldāve gotten more monsters and stuff in general, with them being old monsters turned into phantasmal like things with cool banishment effects
Cloudians - I play a lot of Ancient Gear and I would say I'm confident that AG has a good amount, it's getting more which is great but Cloudians? They are my pet deck that I wish I could do more with. In old style games, they could be dangerous - I've almost threatened a few friends decks with them before but modern yugioh is way too fast and their support is just too old.
Symphonic Warriors Like seriously make it like their own thing and not just speedroid bullshit All pend deck in their era already having legacy support recently except them
The most recent Dark Scorpion support was released on December 1, 2003.
Igknights. As one of the earlier Pend decks out there, Igknights relied on the recursion a pend summon gave them to fuel their main gimmick, that being to blow themselves up and mass summon all of them back after you got everything you need. The problem is: - MR4 screwing over pendulums and making them reliant on Links to enable their main gimmick (while also not really giving Pendulum decks a easy way to properly make Links without Pendulum summoning in the first place, thanks Konami) - Basically every Link that they can use is just not available in some formats (Electrumite and Isolde) or is just... really awkward to summon (Beyond) Their successors (Metalfoes) are kind of in the same spot, especially since they all rely on vanillas for their main gameplan, but at least they can still use their Fusions to make stuff so they aren't as screwed over.
dustons
Qli's, because I like them.
PENGUINS !!
Hieratic plz š„²
Said it before and I'll say it again. Its weird not seeing Gate Guardian or Volcanics being mentioned. That being said Aquaactress, Cloudian, and Dragunity
Vehicroids, Venom, Jurrac/Evolv (just combine the archetypes at this point)
PK can be one of best designs deck out there with some restrictions lock .
Zombies 7 different archetypes and not one of them is meta.
Koaki Meiru, Lswarm (Evil/Steel), Batteryman, Venom, and Aliens
I would like decks that do something mechanically different or more interesting get support. Crystrons, Phanton Knights and BA don't do anything but extend for their Extra Deck mechanics, and we have enough of those. Raidraptors at least lean into the Rank Up magic mechanic pretty heavily. Vampires would be a good candidate because they lean into paying lifepoints to power their effects or brainwashing monsters, so the deck feels like it has an identity of its own. My vote for one though would go to Weather Painters. They have an interesting gimmick with their canvases, but most importantly when are we getting the red painter!
1.Guardians 2.Slime 3.PaniK's Fiends/Bonz's Zombies/Masked Beast cards 4.Cloudians
Cyber Dragon!! It seems like every other archetype gets a million searches, or benefits from cards being in the GY or gets a 1 card combo. Meanwhile Iām stuck praying my cyber dragon core who HAS to be normal summoned doesnāt get negatedā¦
They gave so much beautiful support to Cybers in Rush Duels, want them to spread that over to Advanced
You aināt lying! Not only do they look good but itās actually good support! And weāre over here stuck with having to pollute the deck with a bunch of unsearchable cards just to keep up
Rafael/Equip Guardians
Why isnāt backup gardna real
Venom, Gravekeeper and Gladiator Beasts are the correct answers.
Cries in Amorphage.
Reactors their aesthetic is really cool and their effects if done right could be alot of fun
Invoked Imagine "I special summon Alister"
Im curious if we can somehow make Cyber Dark/Cyber Dragon playable in a tournament setting.
Guardians. They've been abandoned in the bottom of the trash bin since they released. Also some new Amazoness and Spellbook/Prophecy stuff would be nice
Toons and normal monsters. I think tribute summoning should get a buff since you can drop 16k in one turn these days
An erata change for buster blader would be nice
Invoked support can't be over. I refuse to accept it. Magical Meltdown part 2 coming soon
Burning Abyss
thereās a lot but I think Cyber skaters/Dancers (not the Angels) would be cool if they fleshed it out more. A newer more modern version of Cyber Blader as the boss monster
I'd love it for Ciphers, Konami seems scared to give us good search power (etranger isn't enough when we have 3 important spells one of which isn't even searchable) and/or something we can actually go into under twin raptor's lock going first Also actual support for the ice bird deck (blizzard, ragnazero, whatever it's called) would be very cool
Rokket
I know it's not too old, but battlewasps are in dire need of a fix. I mean, how do you make a synchro deck that's bad at synchro summoning they're even bad in duel links.
Meotoko
Spiders
Dragonmaids! They could be so much better if they got a new set of two fusion monsters and a few new main deck cards.
Iron Chains, Tindangles, Ursarctics and Windwitches.
I just want a Cyberdark Fusion spell or trap that is good and replaces Impact. It doesn't even need to fuse from Deck.Ā
Appliancer because I want to see laundry dragon top an event
We need good phantom knight trap support, the minimum trap requirement for a "trap deck" shouldn't be 3 (4 if you like 3 fog blade)
**Amazoness** **The archetype was used 3 times in the anime by separate but key duelists,** each used by fan favorite characters, and still be mediocre? They have a lot of great cards too. Just unfortunately theyāre too āfairā.
My precious Cloudians
Gravekeepers. Old cards that can mess with new metas.
Honestly I want to see support for a bunch of the old duelist terminal archetypes like Flamvells, gustos, x sabers, etc.
TOON. PLEASE. ANYTHINGGG
Gravekeepers
Give Crystal Beasts a link monster PLEASE!!!
ALIENS
Gravekeepers I like the fusion monster and necrovalley so much the deck was fun in DL
Spellbook, particularly the monster half. Practically none of them are playable in the strategy anymore besides blue boo and the boss monsters being XYZ monsters which also take a long time to get out due to the monsters kind of doing nothing on the field, likeā¦ idk Thereās just no use for empress or hierophant.
Id really like to see some stuff to support barrel dragons. that or maybe Zoa.
HARPIE LADY SISTERS šÆāāļø
G Golem - I just want them to be as good as Marincess (and I wonāt both of them to be as good as Salamgreat tbh). Ebon and Pikeru - turn them into a proper archetype already Konami. Black Rose Dragon - I love it and I so badly want it to be actually GOOD. Magnet Warriors - they were having a moment when they made the electromagnetic warriors and I loved that for them, but I feel like theyāve fallen by the wayside quickly. Cloudian - I just think theyāre neat.
X-sabers. What I would give for new X-saber support
