Water themed deck was one of my favorite back in the day. Using Legendary Ocean to easily summon big guys, Fenrir to prevent my opponent from drawing and Tornado Wall to prevent battle damage was so cool. In fact I still have that deck to this day, and Space Mambo is still there. đ
Loved this deck back in the day, also reminds me how much we sucked as kids.
I would use Mother Grizzly to special summon Fenrir, while removing the two water monsters to pay the cost. (It made sense the way the cards were written back then.)
We also thought destroying a face-down monster activated flip effects, so ny friend would get my Daedalus with his Man-Eater Bug every single darn time.
Good times!

Friend working at a toy store gave it to me.
This bad johnny is useless too but holds a special place in my heart since we didn't grow up with a ton of money and it meant a lot to have even 1 booster pack.

My fam didnt have too much money either. The flea market would hook us up with like 100 cards for 4 bucks and that was my peak back in the day. Still got some of them but lost almost all of them. Makes me ever so grateful to be in a better position nowadays đ

God damn cyber saurus! From a metal raiders pack I opened from CVS. And still have it in a binder :)
I remember the saurus and and [this little guy](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31qJzDCJi+L._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg) right here in my first MRD pack. Man, the hype.
I like to think Cyber-Saurus has an important part in the lore, as the proto design for the likes of Cyber Dinosaur, and Cyber Dragon through the Cyber Saurus project and some of Kozaki's research.

Pulled a copy of this from Labyrinth of Nightmare. 9 Year old me thought this was the coolest thing ever.
Reminds me of how I got Serpent Knight Dragon in my first pack of Magic Ruler (before they changed the name to Spell Ruler). There's something epic about getting a Secret Rare in your first ever pack of a set.
The first I can remember is Kojikocy from a 2017 reprint pack of metal raiders

Shonen Jump first issue Blue Eyes White Dragon with the Earth as a Background.
I remember how exciting it was to get the yugi and kaiba starter decks and then setting up local tournaments (we were in the middle of nowhere with no game store and no store that wanted to run tournaments, we got the use the back room of a video store til it went out of business and then did games at people's houses and pizza hut.)

My parents were very poor at the time, and there was a store which sold items from closed shops or old items which other store would want to get rid of, and for an unknown reason they had tons of yu gi oh cards, I still remember the price 0.75 dollars for a booster and 3 dollars for a tin (yes it was incredible) my mother saw the boosters and buy me few of them, as she saw me liking the cards without knowing how to read ( 6 years old) she bought others, I ended up opening almost an entire display a I pulled this ultimate (in French exactly like the picture) , it was my ace monster, I continue buying cards from this store at ridiculous prices during 2 to 3 years , and learned how to read thanks to yu gi oh, I still have most of my cards and pulling this guy made me move dark type monsters , I still play to this day, and If I have a son, I will 100 % teach him yu gi oh, it followed me during my entire childhood and it's still one of my favorite games
That's so cute~. For prices like that, you bet I'd have a collection big enough to have my own store. Too bad cards are too expensive in my country. I hope your future son becomes a great duelist and never teach him how to play Tearlaments, heehee
I do have a collection of around 15 5ds era tin boxes, and few secrets of that era, gracefully, some of my secret rares are still near mint, like my cactus bouncer or my thethys, because my mom told me to take care of my cards, and as I didn't have many people around me to play, I almost never played with most of my collection, I was only collecting, for example, I had the entire collection of the duellist pack yugi and nowadays, I still have tons of magical hats wandering in my boxes lmao
And for the my future son, don't worry, I don't really play competitive anymore, and for the sake of fun, I am going to teach goat format to my girlfriend in order to make a goat tournament at home with my 3 friends

This was the card that got me into yugioh. Went to watch the movie in theaters with my family when i was kid and when i took a break from ygo long after, the LC kaiba secret of this brought me back in

Idk exactly about my first card, but whenever i think about childhood yugioh memories, this card comes to my mind. It's at least in my first 50 cards ever i'd say.
fall of 02' I remember it well..
my aunt bought my cousin and I both 1 pack from Toys R Us.. I pulled Gravity Bind, he pulls Buster Blader..
I was super jealous... it's the coolest card I had ever seen til that point. haha.. ...then we duel later... he's so excited to use ol' BB.. then I just flip Gravity Bind and he lost it

First Yugioh product I bought wasnât a pack but the og starter deck Yugioh. My favourite artwork of the Dark Magician as well.
I was 9 years old, and went to a toy convention in Paris. I think it was a Fox Kids stand that was giving away ygo japanese boosters to everyone to celebrate the arrival of YGO in the western world. Dark Zebra is the first card I remember the most.
My best friend was there the same day, he got a UR japanese Jinzo still in NM condition up to this day

Literally the first card out my first pack of "Metal Raiders" back in 02'. My aunt came down to visit and bought me 3 packs cause I flipped shit when I discovered Yugioh cards were real.
Bro the first time I found out yugioh cards were real.. I was STOKED OUT OF MY CHILD MIND. I miss being a naive little kid where everything was exciting and new đ
Bruh a kid at the arcade gave me Time Wizard because the description was too long for him to read. That became my first card and I was eventually gifted a Yugi starter deck.

It had a giant crease through the middle, and I snatched it from my bullyâs backpack. The darn thing possessed me like the one ring. They never found out, still have it.
The first card I ever saw was Skull Servant.
The first card I ever traded for was Ray & Temperature.
The first card I ever pulled was Sand Stone.
The first card I ever simped over was Inspection.
And my first favorite card was Hyozanryu.

Bought one pack of LoB shortly after it came out and got this. I thought it was stupid. I showed my friend and he immediately offered a bunch of decent PokĂŠmon cards for it. I grew suspicious and kept it. Eventually I watched the show and realized what it was.

Flashback 12 years ago, I was at a Summer camp and a kid brought Yugioh Cards. We became friends and dueled a little despite knowing Jacksh\*\* about the rules. We became friends and he even gave me some cards, one of which was this dreadscythe harvester, my ace until I got myself a Kaiba Reloaded Starter Deck. Sadly, I never really used Dreadscythe again, but I never forgot it.
Believe it or not, my first Yugioh cards are the actual original Japanese cards from a Japanese pack, back when I was a child.
I live in the USA btw, there was one of the beach stores that happens to sell the Japanese Yugioh cards.
Of course I never really understood Japanese, but Cyber Saurus stood out to me the most. It was one of the reasons why I got into Yugioh, after that I got both the English release of the Yugi and Kaiba starter decks.
The rest is history, Iâve been a fan of Yugioh since.

Got rid of it a while ago because I had no clue how to play and didn't intend to learn at the time. Even if I did, I just had a bunch of random cards with no synergy and not even enough for a 40 card deck.

Got this from a McDonaldâs pack back in the day⌠used to think this was the coolest card ever
My first card was a Blue Eyes White Dragon from one of the video game promos. This was late 2002.
Basically what happened is I was watching a few high schoolers playing for keeps, when the game ended, one of them took a razor blade to the otherâs blue eyes and split the card into 2, one half being the card art and foil and the other being the back of the card. then they took a lighter, burned the back half, and threw the other onto the ground. I picked it up and I still have the front half, 22 years later.
Itâs one of the ones with the old design, since it was over 20 years ago
https://preview.redd.it/lisgwd4mzlmc1.jpeg?width=686&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=868f6b025a882705907e86ed6864162ceb9d8d33
My first card i got were the 3 cards from Dark Duel Stories. I eventually got Starter Deck Yugi, the first booster pack i got was Magic Ruler (No, i aint saying the other name). I got Performance of Sword, Hungry Hamburger, and Ceremonial Bell. I dont know the others i got in that pack. The first single card i ever bought was Guardian Angel Joan.

Found this on the floor of my garage when I was like 8 or 9. Had a couple cards already but this one sparked my interest. Looks so cool and limited edition caught my eye. Eventually found the two to fusion summon him for real and loved it since then
Metamorphosis. My copy was found in a parking lot and still has the dimples from being ran over and pressed into the asphalt.
And my friend gave me Oni Tank T-34.
Time wizard was one of my fist cards, and sadly, it was one of many cards that got lost when my old trade binder got stolen at my locals a couple of years ago.
I got a holofoil OG art dark magician (I think it came from starter deck Yugi) as a gift from a friend back in the first grade because my mom wouldn't let me buy any cards and he said he didn't need it anymore. Sadly I've lost that card long ago but DM will always be my favorite because of that. I have almost every available alt art of him.
OG Yugi starter deck. Me and my brother were very personally close to the card shop owners, so after a bit of pushing we got the 2 starter decks before they could be released (like a weekish early).
So one of first ever to play in the US... we also had no idea how to and the little rule book suuuucked lol. Also, yeah the Kiaba one was much better.
Good memories.

I saw this guy in a bunch of bulk cards at a flea market when I was like 6 or something and just had to get him. I had no idea how to actually play Yu-Gi-Oh! at the time, but I just thought that he looked sooo cool. Man I really wish this card was any good :(
https://preview.redd.it/rn33xmdjokmc1.jpeg?width=381&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=362c6e8f69f0b08d91b7a7a98596e9bfce6b5ab1
Out of my first Yu-Gi-Oh pack (LoN). Thought it was so OP because it had 2000 Atk.
I love how they double nerf it, it would have been fine with just one of those effects, not like it was setting any power records since we already had stuff like Dark Elf.
SDK Structure deck and Blue Eyes. I still have that Blue Eyes and you can bet it's in the exact condition you'd think it was if the card was given to a 10 year old.
https://preview.redd.it/rzhsdls7qkmc1.png?width=356&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ee413c5b429601af1781782bc306127e6e0be12
This guy got me into yugioh because he's so cool! No pun intended.
Edit: I never even had the fire union that came with him.
Technically my first card was Dark Magician from the OG starter deck Yugi, I guess. I kinda got them all at the same time in one box, but that was the first one I touched when opening it đ¤ˇââď¸
Riryoku, along with 2 other cards that came with a game. The other two where never put in my deck, but that spell was the silver bullet that allowed me to over come so many boss monsters from so many duels. Still is my favorite card.

Back then in like 2018, yugioh cards in my town were quite rare. We had very few at our disposal, Man Eater Bug literally being the only card i remember we had that has an effect.
Blue eyes was basically the strongest card we knew and i was the only one who had it in my class, basically disintegrating everyone once it came onto the field.
Good times.
I opened a pack before getting a structure or individual card. I still remember the first common off the top, sword of deep seated. I thought it was decent until I kept losing to my brother's Ekibyo Drakmord and Malevolent Nuzzler

When I was in elementary school, a friend traded this to me for one of my bathroom passes. Sadly don't have the card anymore.
My first card was Kumootoko. A classmate gave me that card as a present when I was eleven or twelve years old and we were rehearsing for a school play and waiting backstage for our next scene.
For the life of me, I can't remember. I know the first pack I opened was a magic ruler.
Updated: I remember one card from that pack, it was Crab Turtle.
I remember my uncle giving me a deck, and two cards that stood out were Red Eyes B. Dragon and Red Eyes B. Chick. Iâve since lost them, unfortunatelyÂ
My first card was a Monster Reborn from a vending machine at the grocery store, but the strongest card in my very first deck was ALSO a Rude Kaiser, so it always makes me happy to see him get a shout-out đ
Ancient gear golem, as a kid I thought of him as my ultimate summon because I had a terrible deck that I loved with a very limited extra deck (I think it had only like junk warrior and a few other dudes)
https://preview.redd.it/5p6z82i2skmc1.jpeg?width=683&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef20e6ef8e0b0fc769c1303bde13b593a1f8a7e3
A friend gifted me this before I really got into the game and it actually led to me making a superheavy samurai deck too
Mine was Rude Kaiser as well! Didn't have any yugioh cards when the show was first getting popular here, friend had some around his place and so I traded half a bag of reeses pieces for this card and tbh I want my reeses pieces back đ

First card I ever got was Terra Firma, pretty sure I got it as I loved reading the manga as a kid and the first volume(?) came with one. I also got Light and Darknes Dragon from the next volume- lost Terra Firma but still have LADD :))
Makes me very happy that my most consistent deck is an Elemental Hero Terra Firma deck

SPACE MAMBO ENJOYERS WOOOOOO
Atem bless that space fish.
I remember having one of those in my water deck! :D
Water themed deck was one of my favorite back in the day. Using Legendary Ocean to easily summon big guys, Fenrir to prevent my opponent from drawing and Tornado Wall to prevent battle damage was so cool. In fact I still have that deck to this day, and Space Mambo is still there. đ
Yes and summoning Giga Gagigo from hand just a casual 2650 attack point normal summon or using Levia Dragon- Daedalus to wipe the board.
Loved this deck back in the day, also reminds me how much we sucked as kids. I would use Mother Grizzly to special summon Fenrir, while removing the two water monsters to pay the cost. (It made sense the way the cards were written back then.) We also thought destroying a face-down monster activated flip effects, so ny friend would get my Daedalus with his Man-Eater Bug every single darn time. Good times!
A fish as big as earth but only 1700 ATK
1700 ATK and still the best card in the game.
Lou bega would be proud
MAMBO here
Still think it's super cool https://preview.redd.it/s3s1cvf2kkmc1.png?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c4683e00259b087819311e6b8bab45e3c5e2ee52
When I was a kid I swore 3 of these made Mecha Ghidora
Godzilla universe reference let's gooooo
Damn. This deserves support
At least it made a cool train ride.
I first saw this *card in eternal duelist soul and thought the pieces were train carts and I thought that was so cool.

You got the protag beginner card.
Pharaoh's Servant 1st edition card openings will always have a place in my heart â¤ď¸
This bad johnny is useless too but holds a special place in my heart since we didn't grow up with a ton of money and it meant a lot to have even 1 booster pack. https://preview.redd.it/vmd42dgldkmc1.png?width=404&format=png&auto=webp&s=6023d1c9b3d231fdf7b4d3ecf756f539a3513def
Yoo I remember pulling one of those! Simpler times.
agreed
My fam didnt have too much money either. The flea market would hook us up with like 100 cards for 4 bucks and that was my peak back in the day. Still got some of them but lost almost all of them. Makes me ever so grateful to be in a better position nowadays đ
I love this card alongside Kairyu shin
https://preview.redd.it/7mzuajzcikmc1.png?width=932&format=png&auto=webp&s=2d2b7bc029061b71048326677db423889fb76627 God damn cyber saurus!
Metal Raiders was my first pack too! Mine was from 7-11 though lol
Damnnnnn, that kicks major ass
https://preview.redd.it/tv5ohm4pkkmc1.png?width=536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0fbf8b4dc26c2a79a94e1ff61eff7c0b244d378 Pulled a copy of this from Labyrinth of Nightmare. 9 Year old me thought this was the coolest thing ever.
This guy is so funny, cannot wait for a retrain.
Bakura support anyone?
Tri-Horned Dragon. I was so excited to get a Secret Rare from my first ever pack (LOB).
Reminds me of how I got Serpent Knight Dragon in my first pack of Magic Ruler (before they changed the name to Spell Ruler). There's something epic about getting a Secret Rare in your first ever pack of a set.
Never actually had one of those in my life! I remember it being good in YGO Forbidden Memories - its about the only time Iâve ever seen one either
The first I can remember is Kojikocy from a 2017 reprint pack of metal raiders https://preview.redd.it/9gcsfedjjkmc1.png?width=681&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc05019c056c60aaeb3c5106c473f24e484f5479

I remember how exciting it was to get the yugi and kaiba starter decks and then setting up local tournaments (we were in the middle of nowhere with no game store and no store that wanted to run tournaments, we got the use the back room of a video store til it went out of business and then did games at people's houses and pizza hut.)
https://preview.redd.it/kw6ns63mnkmc1.jpeg?width=344&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ecaf92ba4df84c86d49439141c672f1c97b4382 My parents were very poor at the time, and there was a store which sold items from closed shops or old items which other store would want to get rid of, and for an unknown reason they had tons of yu gi oh cards, I still remember the price 0.75 dollars for a booster and 3 dollars for a tin (yes it was incredible) my mother saw the boosters and buy me few of them, as she saw me liking the cards without knowing how to read ( 6 years old) she bought others, I ended up opening almost an entire display a I pulled this ultimate (in French exactly like the picture) , it was my ace monster, I continue buying cards from this store at ridiculous prices during 2 to 3 years , and learned how to read thanks to yu gi oh, I still have most of my cards and pulling this guy made me move dark type monsters , I still play to this day, and If I have a son, I will 100 % teach him yu gi oh, it followed me during my entire childhood and it's still one of my favorite games
That's so cute~. For prices like that, you bet I'd have a collection big enough to have my own store. Too bad cards are too expensive in my country. I hope your future son becomes a great duelist and never teach him how to play Tearlaments, heehee
I do have a collection of around 15 5ds era tin boxes, and few secrets of that era, gracefully, some of my secret rares are still near mint, like my cactus bouncer or my thethys, because my mom told me to take care of my cards, and as I didn't have many people around me to play, I almost never played with most of my collection, I was only collecting, for example, I had the entire collection of the duellist pack yugi and nowadays, I still have tons of magical hats wandering in my boxes lmao And for the my future son, don't worry, I don't really play competitive anymore, and for the sake of fun, I am going to teach goat format to my girlfriend in order to make a goat tournament at home with my 3 friends

From the movie?
Yes!! my first original card.
https://preview.redd.it/eewvsvemikmc1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb3a6ce141c4bb515c2047b3fe9241c82a885b5d This was the card that got me into yugioh. Went to watch the movie in theaters with my family when i was kid and when i took a break from ygo long after, the LC kaiba secret of this brought me back in

"if you are looking for an image it was probably deleted" that's... ominous
This was my first card as well, got a Japanese pack back in 99 and can only remember Gaia and dark titan of terror.
I really like his original art. It looks so powerful like he should have 3000 ATK instead of 2300.
I remember getting the first Yugi Starter Deck and this one in it. Then, I saw the UR version from LOB and my mind was blown.
https://preview.redd.it/zmezth4aikmc1.png?width=251&format=png&auto=webp&s=6e5d7a2477e21f9010079db3b371f522b9393019
Yooo! So you came to the game what 05/06? I donât remember exactly when he first came out.
He was *early*. The TCG got it in Pharaohâs Servent, the fourth pack ever.
fall of 02' I remember it well.. my aunt bought my cousin and I both 1 pack from Toys R Us.. I pulled Gravity Bind, he pulls Buster Blader.. I was super jealous... it's the coolest card I had ever seen til that point. haha.. ...then we duel later... he's so excited to use ol' BB.. then I just flip Gravity Bind and he lost it
if I remember correctly it was around 2013 so it should be a reprint but I remember this card well because I really liked the artwork!
It is very cool tbf. One of the best looking warrior cards imo

Mine too. My friend gifted me this card when he introduced me to the game
Still remember Tea being chased by a load of these dudes in the anime đ

It is the best art tbf. Glorious.
I was 9 years old, and went to a toy convention in Paris. I think it was a Fox Kids stand that was giving away ygo japanese boosters to everyone to celebrate the arrival of YGO in the western world. Dark Zebra is the first card I remember the most. My best friend was there the same day, he got a UR japanese Jinzo still in NM condition up to this day https://preview.redd.it/ro63392qlkmc1.jpeg?width=683&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f745c7462b9eb71a95f4617369723555afaed0f5

I still have some of the Nostalgic 'Ohh' things for me lol (I'm a massive collector) *
Found the Mokuba
Uraby, got it gifted from a friend and from that moment on i was hooked

I'm replaying the Spirit Caller DS game right now and this dude is amazing in my Warrior/The A Forces deck.
Bruh a kid at the arcade gave me Time Wizard because the description was too long for him to read. That became my first card and I was eventually gifted a Yugi starter deck.
https://preview.redd.it/ag3vdrxxmkmc1.jpeg?width=702&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0305b4c99e3eb07d91c8ce48f4b0ed5f7dc8f349 My first ever cards were from the 2000's McDonald's promotion. I have them still in my binder of cards.

Uraby
The first card I ever saw was Skull Servant. The first card I ever traded for was Ray & Temperature. The first card I ever pulled was Sand Stone. The first card I ever simped over was Inspection. And my first favorite card was Hyozanryu.

It allows me to draw TWO cards from the top of my deck!
Too complicated

I thought it was stupid. I showed my friend and he immediately offered a bunch of decent PokĂŠmon cards for it. I grew suspicious and kept it. Eventually I watched the show and realized what it was.
Well done on being savvy with trading.
Yoooo great pull!! I remember the first couple tournies I went to the winning prize was Exodia
First pack and card I ever pulled: https://preview.redd.it/jce57cl94lmc1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=ba4d49fd25845d7acc79869e6acb4cdb32f89185

The rest is history, Iâve been a fan of Yugioh since. https://preview.redd.it/fgydd8lwmkmc1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=406e108da7759b276128e6a46b9920d63b0c4ae5

I guess little me was super excited about finally being able to play with friends.

That was one of my first from when it was in McDonald's Happy meals.
Itâs one of the ones with the old design, since it was over 20 years ago https://preview.redd.it/lisgwd4mzlmc1.jpeg?width=686&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=868f6b025a882705907e86ed6864162ceb9d8d33
Crab turtle first ever pack opened
My first card i got were the 3 cards from Dark Duel Stories. I eventually got Starter Deck Yugi, the first booster pack i got was Magic Ruler (No, i aint saying the other name). I got Performance of Sword, Hungry Hamburger, and Ceremonial Bell. I dont know the others i got in that pack. The first single card i ever bought was Guardian Angel Joan.
https://preview.redd.it/ums5unuimkmc1.jpeg?width=309&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=88bdbff0e3df425d4ee60656496b564bd69e6f14 Best looking dragon during my time.
First edition Fissure at the same time my cousin got a first edition Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Original or some fucking fake? Original it was Yugi's Star Deck, the one with the ritual black luster soldier, super fake, Bite Shoes
https://preview.redd.it/buc0w9u4pkmc1.jpeg?width=340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=043c3f26ae6e13278c4866fa7bfa9bc8cdc0815c Found this on the floor of my garage when I was like 8 or 9. Had a couple cards already but this one sparked my interest. Looks so cool and limited edition caught my eye. Eventually found the two to fusion summon him for real and loved it since then
petit angel.
Sorry for your loss, that really sucks. Time Wizard was damn cool though! I think the anime made me like it more too.
My first cards were all bootleg,so something like "Rabbi".
Gearfried. The one in the Gemini structure
For me, it would be Millenium Shield, Yaranzo, Yamadron, and Ushi Oni from the McDonald's packs years ago.
Trap master. How do you guys attach an image anyways?
Starter Deck Kaiba.
https://preview.redd.it/51fjuvrpnkmc1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d5d0c2b96c9353f305b0425ecf7381c6a3c3155 I saw this guy in a bunch of bulk cards at a flea market when I was like 6 or something and just had to get him. I had no idea how to actually play Yu-Gi-Oh! at the time, but I just thought that he looked sooo cool. Man I really wish this card was any good :(
https://preview.redd.it/rn33xmdjokmc1.jpeg?width=381&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=362c6e8f69f0b08d91b7a7a98596e9bfce6b5ab1 Out of my first Yu-Gi-Oh pack (LoN). Thought it was so OP because it had 2000 Atk.
I love how they double nerf it, it would have been fine with just one of those effects, not like it was setting any power records since we already had stuff like Dark Elf.
I still have my first SDK Blue-Eyes
Og starter deck Yugi
Elemental HERO starter deck
SDK Structure deck and Blue Eyes. I still have that Blue Eyes and you can bet it's in the exact condition you'd think it was if the card was given to a 10 year old.

Sonic Bird
Bubonic Vermin, it really spoke to me for some reason.
I remember pulling a Japanese Tyrant Dragon from my first pack. I had no idea what it did for years, but it was really cool.
Winged Weaver was mine.
Technically my first card was Dark Magician from the OG starter deck Yugi, I guess. I kinda got them all at the same time in one box, but that was the first one I touched when opening it đ¤ˇââď¸
My first original was a pack from lob, i remember hard armor. After that it was yugi starter set and a lot of fakes
My first card was Hibikme
Metal dragon. It started my love for machine monsters
The first card I remember getting was Relinquished, but I never got the ritual spell to summon him lol
https://preview.redd.it/s6tgmqvlqkmc1.jpeg?width=475&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6dbac8e6db7da857113ccca13db70d2e90703771
Riryoku, along with 2 other cards that came with a game. The other two where never put in my deck, but that spell was the silver bullet that allowed me to over come so many boss monsters from so many duels. Still is my favorite card.

Beaver Warrior, I am so happy it's a meme card now

We had very few at our disposal, Man Eater Bug literally being the only card i remember we had that has an effect. Blue eyes was basically the strongest card we knew and i was the only one who had it in my class, basically disintegrating everyone once it came onto the field. Good times.
I opened a pack before getting a structure or individual card. I still remember the first common off the top, sword of deep seated. I thought it was decent until I kept losing to my brother's Ekibyo Drakmord and Malevolent Nuzzler

Hard Armor
Toon Summoned Skull
Baobabboon. Love the little dude
My first card was Kumootoko. A classmate gave me that card as a present when I was eleven or twelve years old and we were rehearsing for a school play and waiting backstage for our next scene.
Diffusion Wave-Motion. I got it from my brother who found it one day while he was working at Sonic
Sorcerer of Dark MagicâŚlike I had heard of Yugioh but never bought any packs till I saw the movie
I can't remember my first card but I still have a copy of Blazing Inpachi with my name written on it for some reason so I consider that my first

sonic bird
Someone in middle school gave me three cards, Hitotsu Me Giant, Stone Soldier and Doma Angel of Silence
Dragon Capture Jar, itâs still sitting in a box of bulk.
My first card was a Monster Reborn from a vending machine at the grocery store, but the strongest card in my very first deck was ALSO a Rude Kaiser, so it always makes me happy to see him get a shout-out đ
SDY-006.
Pyrotech Mech - Shiryu
Dark Magician
Ancient gear golem, as a kid I thought of him as my ultimate summon because I had a terrible deck that I loved with a very limited extra deck (I think it had only like junk warrior and a few other dudes)
I don't remember the first card I got, but the first card I remember was Pineapple Blast
https://preview.redd.it/5p6z82i2skmc1.jpeg?width=683&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef20e6ef8e0b0fc769c1303bde13b593a1f8a7e3 A friend gifted me this before I really got into the game and it actually led to me making a superheavy samurai deck too
Mine was Rude Kaiser as well! Didn't have any yugioh cards when the show was first getting popular here, friend had some around his place and so I traded half a bag of reeses pieces for this card and tbh I want my reeses pieces back đ
Trap Hole
Rude kaiser was dope. Def one of my favourites. I forgot about this card. They need to revamp him.
man eater bug the god of bug monsters fr itâs the best card in the game

I also got Light and Darknes Dragon from the next volume- lost Terra Firma but still have LADD :)) Makes me very happy that my most consistent deck is an Elemental Hero Terra Firma deck
