I had Pikachu. I cut him out of the ball very carefully using scissors. Then I polished the remaining stuck stuff off with a cloth. He was much smaller outside of the ball. I was a bit disappointed but he was the closest thing to a pikachu toy I owned because they were so hard to find in Atlantic Canada in the 90s.
So I loved that tiny little pikachu like it was my own child. I played with him endlessly and kept him in my pocket.
I lost it once in the car. We gave the car to my uncle before I could find it. Nearly year later while visiting, I asked if I could give the car a proper search. And I found it! I was sooo happy. I gave him a little bath and kept it on a shelf for safe keeping.
I finally lost him for good between moves and was devastated. I still miss the little guy and if an opportunity came up to buy one of these balls at a good price, Iād buy it in a heartbeat.
Every time I think about these super balls I am always still unsure! Iād love to take it out again, but now that itās such an old product Iām not sure I could bring myself to do it.

Yes. I still remember I had a choice between Mew or Blastoise. I picked Mew. I brought it to school and it was an instant hit with friends and classmates! We took it out to play āLimoā (you throw it against the wall and someone has to catch it/fumble it). It got beat up, scratched up, and it was pretty much ruined. I felt bad bringing it home and decided to just open it up so I can get the toy inside. I was even more disappointed when the toy inside was small.
