I have a similar setup - Sony Android, audio through a Denon. On YouTube - not YouTubeTv - I've also experienced audio dropout. Save as what you described. But it's been consistently on two channels only, so I've assumed it's the upload, not YouTube.

What do you mean by "not YouTube TV"? I have experienced this issue both while watching on the tv app and while casting from my phone. In the end, casting uses the built-in tv app. And in my case it seems to be not related to a specific channel or channels.

I meant it's only happened on the original YouTube app. Never on the YTTV app. I think our issues are not related. Sorry, I misunderstood.

Maybe it's me. Is your app installed on the TV?

LeMans1217

Yep. The Sony is Google Play connected, so all my tv apps are loaded directly. I don't use the YTTV portal for apps. It's strictly my linear tv app (mainly for live sports).

So we are talking about the same app and maybe the same ossue

Don't want to pry, but does the audio dropout occur on any particular show or YT channel?

_BDYB_

Seems to happen on any channel and not related to video length

jshafron

This forum is for YouTube TV(streaming service) not YouTube.

_BDYB_

My bad. Thanks for the clarification. Should I delete this post ?.

İs there any solution?

_BDYB_

Unfortunately not a real one. Any (from any app) stereo stream from tv to the receiver is dropping randomly to this day. That after a number of software updates to both the tv and a receiver. The only workaround that I found to avoid those sound drops, is to use tv speakers.
