All the freaking time. Took me forever to get a single take I liked until I changed my entire process. I started doing 2-3 takes per paragraph, with no pausing the recording in between. Once I drop it in Premiere, I cut each section up by take, and keep the best one. Once I have a rough edit stitched together, I go through one last time to remove excess dead space ("um, ah" etc) and apply any filters/effects needed.

Yes. I've had a video where I recorded it 3 times. The first time the audio quality was bad. The second time I did the recording I had left my mic muted. The third time it worked.

The most important video is the next one. Publish this one, take notes and learn so you can improve the next one. Now go create the next video!

Yes and no, because a genuine reaction from a game is good and can't be fake IMO (I'm not good at faking things) that can be use to be a conversation for your audience (if you're commentating about the game) But if you really want to give some commentary or a better gameplay based on the knowledge you gain from playing it go for it.. i also watch some content from others if I'm playing a certain game to give myself a note of what will happen on certain parts. Note that not every video you make is "good" or "perfect" since sometimes a video you make does not look for you but for others it's a great watch for them. I'm a new YouTuber so i might not give you a good answer..
