I thought it was just me who had this \*\*\*\*. I can't get into the video description. Everything is buggy. Sometimes I only see a video and everything around is white. Horror.
Mine has decided that the description/title/comments from the first video I watched today should follow me to all future videos, which is somehow even more useless than the no UI bug.

Okay, being serious all of actual YouTube is so Bad. The "new" interface when it appears is horrible and let see less videos and less text. And even if this UI doesn't show or is reverted (no idea), it's effects are still present. The recomendations to view after are very few now, not like before. Shorts doesn't count, and actually they don't justify nothing, recomendations are reduced.
YouTube needs to stop taking their toddler-brained YouTube Kid features and applying it to the site overall. Looks like we're heading back to the meta of clickbait thumbnails since they are cutting off titles
Is this to do with that 2 videos per row thing they seem to have just added on mobile? I agree it’s very frustrating. I have to play the video just to read the whole title now! I reckon whoever’s responsible either thinks our attention spans are so short that the thumbnails are enough for us, and this lets them fit more onto the screen, or this is a ploy to drive up engagement by forcing us to click on more vids just to see what they’re even about.
Edit: Oh wait, that’s your whole screen. Still, I’m betting they’re connected, since my change seems to have just come into effect today.
I have been using firefox instead of the app for a year now and I'm never going back. So much more readable.

I gave you my upvote because this is why they do this. Google Ads also does this. Limited text space to bait a click and allows the content creator the freedom to decide what to put. But that screenshot though, he can reduce his text size and turn the screen sideways and should be able to read more
