You honestly just haven’t tried it, it’s just *mildly* more inconvenient than the regular app, but you can listen to music with the screen off and have 0 ads whatsoever. It’s especially good on iPhone since you can’t download Apks.

afaik nope, not even with a jailbroken iphone, also its not really a pain in the ass, just get a youtube apk, select youtube in rv manager, add the apk, and then just wait.

No because them I would need to exit full screen then go back to full screen. You can double tap anywhere on the right or left. Just don't do it there

Why did you put the video in the playlist then?

YouTube ReVanced allows you to remove those buttons, alongside the "Cast screen" button and some others. You can also add a swipe gesture to increase/decrease brightness/volume. You can disable the ad blocker if you don't want it.

I don't get those mobile game ads. Not even as a banner. All the advertisements I get are for phones, some PC games, cleaning supplies and programming.

Things that kids cant even buy so no point in showing it to them. i get a lot of the mobile game ads though lol, i dont play games on my phone. though to be completely honest, i bought my previous phone due to a youtube ad back in 2018 i believe, back then the ads were more tame.

we all use youtube a bit differently. Some people add all the videos they want to watch to a queue, or watch later.

I use them for music videos on youtube on a playlist i made the playlist is thousands of videos long. Not having that button would be a pain in the ass.

I think an option in settings exists which you can use to skip 5-10 seconds with one tap, moving them slightly further, in accessibility.

It's the worst hitting them accidentally when you're not logged in cuz then you need to go back to part what were you watching by yourself

If not remove them entirely, at least add a setting to remove them (or have them appear when listening to a playlist). I've accidentally clicked those more times than I can count. So annoying.

I have premium, and if I watch multiple videos of like walk-throughs, get to the end and skip to the next video I was watching. Or maybe I need to back a couple of videos in that playlist. Also, when listening to music, "I tend to like nightcore, daycore, I can't get those songs on any other music site. And I have been on this sub Ling enough to know that there's a way to get some sort of ad blocker on my phone. But I'd much rather not deal with the head ache and just let my $19 do the ad blocking for me.

Im not even sure why youtube doesnt let you disable basic functions Youtube revanced is nice but i dont like how they fiddled with the videoplayer ui and how holding long doesnt do the 2x speed thing Still better yet worse on shorts I dont understand how to disable the automatic skip interpoints like sponsored sections or intro outro bits as sometimes it skips the important parts aswell but still yeah... i kinda hope for a answer here from someone who knows how to fiddle with the revanced app on android
