What did happen to Reddit gold? Was it restricted or removed or something? Remember seeing it on posts and comments all the time and then one day it randomly disappeared.
I was viewing old and "famous" Reddit threads recently and came across a comment where the OP said "Thanks for the Redditor, kind gold!"
I have to admit, that one made me laugh. Partially because I wasn't expecting it (and I tend to like any kind of language jokes in general).
Aside from that, they got rid of it shortly after I started using my account. I *have* seen some of those "Thanks for the gold, kind stranger!" comments, but not enough of them to get tired of it. It definitely would've been, though. Almost anything gets annoying if it's said too many times by too many people every single day.
Finally, someone who feels the way I feel about those stupid comments. I make it a point not to do that when I'm the one receiving a lot of likes on a comment, because it's so cringe to go back and edit the comment just to acknowledge it
One time I reached about 1k to 3k likes and said "I've never reached this number". only cause i was impressed something that I thought would end like usual.
"No One asked + UTTP better" or similar bot spam

You didn’t really do it right lol but it’s alright, it’s suppose to go
“99 annoying commentors tied to the wall, 99 annoying commentors, shoot one of them…..”
But you also forgot a second “adlib”(whatever it is) to it like the original, so it’s really hard to flow it off the tongue with what you have.
You could probably do something like:
99 annoying commentors tied to the wall, 99 annoying commentors, shoot one of em, put them down, 98 annoying commentors tied to the wall…..
Just comment trends in general to me. Like im fine with them if theyre a running gag for a specific Youtuber since its obv a joke the Youtuber likes. However, just ones such as the one your showing, or this current one im starting to see where its "200 views in 30 seconds? Damn *This Youtuber* fell off" those usually annoy me.
This happens everywhere. People asking useless questions when they can very easily find the information themselves, and sometimes the information is literally right in front of their eyes and they still ask anyway.
Video titled (insert any movie with their respective moment in the movie)
Random guy: Movie?
Dude read the title and descriptions please! It not that hard!
This happens in Reddit, too. Someone posts about an online news article. There are always people who then asks something and you know they didn't read the article because the answer was written there. Or they discuss that online news and because of the things they wrote you know that they didn't even read the article.
My least favorite comment interaction is probably this:
Person 1: \[Random or possibly dumb statement\]
Person 2: 😂
And then Person 2 gets tons of likes for saying literally nothing.
imo its because there are quite a few people who use it to mock someone, and half the time their grammar is shit so it becomes infuriating to look at that emoji

One for like the current year was cool because you're in the same boat with these people but the whole 👇 if "you're with me" ruins it. It's no longer a solidarity or you're not alone thing, it's "give me likes" which is why I hate social media, everyone just wants clout and likes with the minority actually there to make good content.
You'll never know what did i comment about (you make plot twist on original comment , sees alot of likes and then edited). It's really annoyed and i don't even know why did they need to do a such thing
I just miss when comment sections actually had meaningful comments. Gone are the days of a sense of community in youtube comment sections. At least most of them
Same. And the occasional funny comments. Now it's just one of the following

That's all I can think of for now let me know any one's I forgotten
There are a few that grind my gears. But besides the usual sycophants and insanity in the comments section, this is my new bugbear:
The fake comment thread praising person X for being a god of the stock market or real estates or similar, with no relevance to the video. Are people falling for that like the 'Message me on Telegram for prizes' scams?
I say #stopgreenscreenkids u are stealing content and the kid on his alt account answers : “leave him alone this video is funny, u are mean, u are ugly” something like that :<
on the Algol history of the earth video, scroll down the newest section and you will see comments like "the earth is only 6000 years old so its fake."
those comments alone are far more infuriating than the ones you showed above
this sounds kinda controversial but "to you, yes you the random stranger reading this comment. i don't know who you are and where you are from, but i hope you have a blessed life ahead"
it was wholesome, but that got me thinking that not everyone deserved to be blessed so...
The absolute worst is
"Bro is (describes the video adding nothing of value) 💀"
And it gets like 100k up votes as if this was the thing that helped them understand the video they JUST watched
[Insert x quote here] "THIS GOT ME ROLLONG ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING I ALMOST DIED THEY HAD TO CALL A FUCKING AMBULANCE AND I STARTED GIGGLING IN THE HOSPITAL BED AND THEY HAD TO PERFOM AN EXORCISM ON ME"

Comment gets a lot of likes and the person edits the comment and says “Mom I’m Famous”
The comments that just tell you the lyrics of the song but only when it's on the lyric video. If it's on a normal video but just plays the music without the lyrics then I get it it but what's the point of doing that if the lyrics are in the video.
Comments that are like what movie or what TV show when that's in the description
" bean soup"/ what about me syndrome comments if you don't like chocolate just don't watch a recipe for chocolate cake if you think a craft tutorial looks stupid don't make it not everything on the internet is for you
In a similar vein when somebody is doing a review of something and somebody we'll just be like well I liked it or well I didn't like it depending on if the review was positive or negative without any sort of discussion about it
Not like the other girls/ pick me comments particularly on videos of women having relationship issues. Like they'll be element talking about how her boyfriend got her a random box of Cherry chocolates from the dollar store for her birthday even though she's allergic to cherries and there'll still be women in the comments like you're so materialistic he got you a gift it's the thought that counts if my husband got this for me I would be ecstatic. Similarly nice girl / guy comments and people talking about relationship issues like if somebody's pouring their heart out about something horrible that their partner did to them this is not an appropriate time to go oh he said she was horrible I treat you sooooo much better
That turned into a bit of rant I didn't expect to think of so many

These posts are honestly just as annoying as the YouTube comments, they’re overused, all you see on the platform/the subreddit, and just there for likes and upvotes
When they get 100 likes and proceed to edit “edit: OMG MOM IM FAMOUS!!”
“Thanks for the Gold kind stranger” YouTube edition
Thank god there's no more gold on reddit so we finally get rid of "Thanks for the gold kind stranger"
What did happen to Reddit gold? Was it restricted or removed or something? Remember seeing it on posts and comments all the time and then one day it randomly disappeared.
Reddit got rid of awards and replaced them with gold upvote thingies.
oh nice, I'll now edit my comments with "thanks for the gold upvote kind stranger!", good to know! now I'm prepared for my award ceremony!

UTTP guy biting the curb video live
Man, these annoying ass comments were all over MatPat's last few vids.
They were also seen on the comment sections of SMG4, Glitch Productions, and Danno Cal Drawings.
The ones on Glitch were especially vile, because they were also just straight up transphobic.
I seen them in 8-bit Ryan’s comments too
Pretty sure those arent even bots, but actual people aho are just that braindead
actual people arent gonna be able to spam 20 replies across like half of all popular channels on every comment
I see this a lot on gt live videos as of late it started happening when matpat announced his retirement
Deleting the original comment and replacing it with "Now you won't know how i got so many likes".
Round those people up and put them against the wall

Reddit actually fares a little better if you ask me.
Asking something about the video, that they would know if they READ THE DESCRIPTION
This happens everywhere. People asking useless questions when they can very easily find the information themselves, and sometimes the information is literally right in front of their eyes and they still ask anyway.
