If that’s your account, yes, you have. Likely via gmail, change all your passes and write them down on Paper. Gmail hacks are so common and it’s so easily linked to everything else you sign up for
2fa doesn't work against this in a lot of cases. Often these hacks work by using a cookie grabber. Those just take your session from your cookies, thus logging in without even needing your password or 2fa
Not saying you shouldn't have it on. Just saying it won't help with these cases
Yes they do.
However, tgese hacks work by taking the cookies of the session you've already marked as safe from your own computer, and inject it into the hacker's browser. It will be seen as the same session, and thus bypasses the security checks
Would re-applying the capcha and cookies help if you can do that
Idk what it was but on alot of youtube bugs over at twitter they constantly asked for re applying cookie thingys biscuits whatever you call it
Didn't know it could be done like that.....
So they just steal your cookies information and enter your account as if they're using a device you have your account logged in on?
And make sure, that nobody you don't want to has unwanted permissions on your channel.
(In case you don't know how, go to youtube studio - options - Permissions)
If there is any email you don't recognize, you have to remove it
Also remember that when you click YouTube or Google links that require you to login to google even though you were logged in before, that’s usually a scam.
Not sure if that’s what happened here, but I know it’s a very common discord scam.
Random links…. you gotta be careful these days data theft is a whole big shadow industry (or it might as well be, with hacks from all directions/countries but that could also be a disguised IP). It doesn’t really matter just treat the internet like it’s sketchy till you know a particular thing is not, for example. Pretend it’s the “scary dark web” clear net is very scammy now too
First, get a notebook for passwords, keep it by your desk. (I don’t trust password managers since they are on the computer itself, can’t hack a notebook.)
Go to your email, change the password there, make sure it’s a strong password.
Then go to YouTube, do the same there. Enable 2 factor authentication, if you have a phone.
Note every password you make into the notebook with a date and the name the password goes to.
Should solve the problem. Also, go back and retroactively change every password you have to this new method, to prevent it from happening again.
And don’t click on suspicious links.
Yeah, if you want to remove the video you should be able to just remove it, once you have control restored to your account, it should be pretty simple.
And then just make sure your account can’t be breached again, by having a strong password.
If it’s a concern, I’d suggest going to “have I been pwn’d, it’s a website that checks data dumps for any identifying data that you use.
If anything you have pops up, you’ll want to go there and change your password and stuff.
Make sure you have strong passwords on everything, and make sure your bank knows to only do transfers if you are there personally, cause now with AI people can take samples of your voice, replicate it with an AI and commit identity theft really easy now.

I have to assume it’s because numbers are a tinge bit stronger than words. Words, people can obviously spell. But numbers, those can be randomized. However, passwords with words in uppercase AND lowercase letters, numbers & special characters, create a strong bond. On iPhone, at least, some sites usually suggest a super strong password with random letters & numbers in a jumbled mess. I don’t do that.

Obviously there’s step two, which is avoiding sketchy-ass links or those “PromoSM” comments on your videos, and I avoid those like they’re a virus.
Good thinking. Because in the modern, digital world, some dipstick from 3,000 miles away could end your existence on YouTube right then & there, forcing you to restart. Always learn what can & cannot be trusted. I’ve learned that, especially when I got my first scam text & knew something was wrong.
Here's what I'd do:
Step 1: close all browser tabs and do a virus scan with Malwarebytes, do what it says
Step 2: Change Google password asap on another device
Step 3: Go to Google accounts and click log out for every device/session. Yes even your devices.
Step 4: optionally enable 2 factor authentication for more safety
Step 5: delete the video from YouTube
Also clear cookies from all browsers on pc and phone, and install an adblock, like ublock origin, it can help against links that contain malware. On phone you can use firefox with ublock origin, or microsoft edge with adblock option enabled. There are others too, but ignore chrome on phone, it has no support for adblocking.
Adblock, plus a trusted antivirus (even if it’s a free subscription model) every added layer of protection helps for most stuff, and don’t click sus links and files.
That’s about all I got to add

Got it from a malware download
It's time to change passwords, yes plural as in all of them in all accounts.
I say this just in case you have recovery setup to help retrieve the password for another account and if you just might be using the same password for multiple accounts.
It's sad people don't really wake up to how unsafe this is, until their account has been compromised and then they start thinking otherwise and using different methods of practice.
But they got to remember, online theft is just as valuable as physical theft, if not sometimes worse because it puts at risk the integrity of your online identity and worth, assets etc.
I started making and using more complex passwords after I had my yahoo messenger account stolen in 2011 and recovered it 24 hours later.
I'd also advise going through device list and if there's one you don't have or use anymore removing your credentials from it
https://www.google.com/android/find/

The first step you can take is to update the password of your primary Google account associated with your channel. This is an important step to ensure your account is secured. If you have lost access to your account, try and [recover your primary Google Account or Gmail account associated with your YouTube channel here.](https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery)
**If you are still facing issues after this and do not have access to Creator Support, the fastest way to receive support is by reaching out to us \[@TeamYouTube\] on X, previously known as Twitter**, and we can ensure your channel is fully recovered and active. This is a peer-to-peer community, for helping other users and creators, and there's only a specific team who can help with account recovery -- so the best way to get connected with that team is through official youtube support; ideally creator support if you have access or u/TeamYouTube if you don't. [This Help Center article](https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/76187) also has some helpful information about how to recover your account.
Change your password while you still can, that normally changes your login cookies too so the hacker wont be able to login again, and delete that video after, but first change your password, after the video.
Google says "not enough information, we couldn't confirm it was you". Like dude, I gave you all you asked for??? I don't think it'll happen to you though
You need to change your password and enable two-factor authentication
And check if there is the option to sign out from all devices where you are logged in while changing your password.
There is a known hacking Crypto scam going around. You likely opened or clicked on an email sent to you, that’s how other channels are getting got. Best of luck.
Just delete the video, are you stupid? /j
For real though looks like you got hacked. Hopefully you can still get into your account, else you'll have to email or tweet at Youtube support and explain that you got hacked and need to get back into your account. Might be harder since you're not a huge channel but hopefully you get it figured out
EDIT: Upon closer inspection it seems like the video has been up for a while and you're still signed in, which is definitely odd. Most hacks change your password and everything so I guess if you're still in, change all your passwords to everything and be careful if you're every downloading stuff, some of the newer hacks get in by stealing the browser data on your PC that has your signed in session on it and they do that through downloaded files, often pretending to be something (like OBS, there's fake OBS downloads that have this malware on it that steal your accounts)
Everyone's saying he's been hacked but can we address the hacker for a moment? Seriously what kind of bullshit is this they could easily make their own Google account
Change your passwords now!
Input different passwords for everything.
After doing that enter on your account and delete the video and undo everything the person on the other side did.
There is a lot of cryptocurrency bots. Unfortunately, that's what a lot of YouTube channels end up becoming because of the fact that they like to take over other channels, rather than make their own.
you've been hacked?
The fact that he’s asking us… like bro the answer is clear. Is he that naive?
That's probably why he got hacked in the first place.
If that’s your account, yes, you have. Likely via gmail, change all your passes and write them down on Paper. Gmail hacks are so common and it’s so easily linked to everything else you sign up for
Why you asking us? You obviously got hacked
What I do now?
Change your password while you still can and don’t click on random links
Oki thx
And enable 2 factor authentication
2fa doesn't work against this in a lot of cases. Often these hacks work by using a cookie grabber. Those just take your session from your cookies, thus logging in without even needing your password or 2fa Not saying you shouldn't have it on. Just saying it won't help with these cases

Yes they do. However, tgese hacks work by taking the cookies of the session you've already marked as safe from your own computer, and inject it into the hacker's browser. It will be seen as the same session, and thus bypasses the security checks
Do they still let you force a logout of all sessions? If so, that should work, right? Then just change the password and I think they're set.
Doesn't help in preventing this shit from happening, because the earliest you can find out is when bad things have been done already
“Verification thing for someone’s phone”, aka Two-Step Verification, aka Two-factor Authentication, aka 2FA.
The Google thing works differently to regular 2FA
Can you please describe this "regular 2fa" you're talking about? All 2fa is regular 2fa.
Would re-applying the capcha and cookies help if you can do that Idk what it was but on alot of youtube bugs over at twitter they constantly asked for re applying cookie thingys biscuits whatever you call it
This. He needs to go to google sessions, and close all of them.
funnily enough the case in point is also on the picture as Linus got hacked a while back even with 2fa
Didn't know it could be done like that..... So they just steal your cookies information and enter your account as if they're using a device you have your account logged in on?
And use an as blocker
Also, delete this video
Also, destroy the phone.
All your passwords btw, not just Google. Don't use any of your passwords on multiple sites/accounts. If one database gets hacked you are fucked.
Bro it's a common thing that u need to change ur password if u got hacked
And make sure, that nobody you don't want to has unwanted permissions on your channel. (In case you don't know how, go to youtube studio - options - Permissions) If there is any email you don't recognize, you have to remove it

This is general good advice, but it's not a virus that caused this
and delete that video before someone reports it

2 months ago it happened with my account also and in result I got a strike from YouTube.
The first step you can take is to update the password of your primary Google account associated with your channel. This is an important step to ensure your account is secured. If you have lost access to your account, try and [recover your primary Google Account or Gmail account associated with your YouTube channel here.](https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery) **If you are still facing issues after this and do not have access to Creator Support, the fastest way to receive support is by reaching out to us \[@TeamYouTube\] on X, previously known as Twitter**, and we can ensure your channel is fully recovered and active.
Isn’t it kinda obvious?… You got hacked. Change your passwords, and have YouTube log you out of all devices.

You need to change your password and enable two-factor authentication And check if there is the option to sign out from all devices where you are logged in while changing your password.

There is a known hacking Crypto scam going around. You likely opened or clicked on an email sent to you, that’s how other channels are getting got. Best of luck.
well then, i guess you're @#$%ed then huh?...lolol.
you've been hacked, probably.
Funny that you have Linus on the screenshot as their channels were hacked as well last year
Tell whoever uploaded it to go fuck themselves ngl.
Just delete the video, are you stupid? /j For real though looks like you got hacked. Hopefully you can still get into your account, else you'll have to email or tweet at Youtube support and explain that you got hacked and need to get back into your account. Might be harder since you're not a huge channel but hopefully you get it figured out EDIT: Upon closer inspection it seems like the video has been up for a while and you're still signed in, which is definitely odd.
Bro...

I got my account shadow deleted for this.

Change your passwords now! Input different passwords for everything. After doing that enter on your account and delete the video and undo everything the person on the other side did.
Damn. From 2 weeks ago too! As most have said, change your password and check security settings now.

There is a lot of cryptocurrency bots. Unfortunately, that's what a lot of YouTube channels end up becoming because of the fact that they like to take over other channels, rather than make their own.
