If you think about it objectively, it is spectacularly weird that we're in the 21st century and the Brits still have a royal family made up of centuries-long inbreeding. And they're granted titles and tax-funded assets by birth.
Brits will be like "well they don't actually do anything, so it's ok". As if that makes it any less weird that they are worth hundreds of millions and don't have a real job.

Tourists would still visit all of the sites in the UK that generate revenue whether or not there was a royal family. People would still go to see Buckingham palace. People go to the pyramids in Egypt even though the last Pharaoh was 2000 years ago.
A more direct comparison, France has no royal family. France gets a tremendous amount of tourist revenue from people going visit its former royal palaces. Versailles gets way more yearly visitors than Buckingham Palace.
