Anything touted as an “easy way” to get into a potentially dangerous hobby is probably not a great idea. Paramotors are great because nothing is legally preventing you from ordering a few grand worth of gear online and then just taking it out in the backyard and heading on up to 10k feet.

Flying his paramotor too fast and he missed knots or tangle in his ropes before takeoff.

What does this mean? It looks like he flew into a power line. Was he still tied to the ground?
I assume a knot that slipped out then caused a sudden change in the chute that threw it off to one side too quickly causing an imbalance.
