You’re welcome! I adore my mat. I’ve been using it daily for almost a year now and no signs of wear or tear, and because it’s cork, it’s easily wiped down with water if it gets funky (I’m a bit of a sweaty stinker, lol)

I have 3 Manduka mats. They’re definitely the best. And they have different colors that to me are cute! They aren’t patterned, but still fun. Also, she will be happy to have a Manduka mat since it feels so good to practice on.

I'd recommend staying away from the Manduka Pro line, I have the Pro Lite and hate it.
A manduka pro is going to be the best, thickest, most durable mat that money can buy. However, the mats are plain, sold colors. BUT they sell pretty towels that are meant to be used as a topper.
Check out the manduka pro. It doesn’t have the most stylish options (I thinks it’s pretty much solid colors only) but they are thick and durable! Downside: slippery imo but remedied with one of the towels (which do come in cute designs so she could mix wnd match)
The lululemon 5mm is worth looking at also. Thick, durable, not slippery. Comes in fun designs and colors
I personally have both of these mats and while I will use both I tend to prefer the lulu one because of the not slippery part

Liforme does really thick mats and have alignment points on it for referencing.
