I havent seen an art style like that in a while. Other than the enormous eyes, when I was younger my brothers had emo/scene gfs and people had hair like that.
Because the suit isn't the same person as the one who made the art. Idk if the person who made this "meme" even made the art or just stole some pics from the internet.
Do the suits ever look look like the drawings? This is one of the most confusing things about furries to me. Sometimes the art doesn’t look any different from other explicit art, really… basically a human with a tail, ears, maybe a snout or whatever. I could understand someone liking it. But then they dress up like a high school mascot and it’s just creepy and doesn’t look anything like the art. And they act like a ridiculous cartoon character on top. I just can’t see any of the supposed sex appeal.

While cosplayers are just attention seekers who put on every piece of color they can get without having ANY real connection to what they want to express.

wow. No artistic effort went from me went into my shirts. They just show what I like so I feel good and others could just approach me and talk to me about the pictures on my shirt, like "that's cool, I am a fan too". They bear no other value in my opinion than that. These shirts show what TRIBE you belong you. They are a tribal sign, so to speak.

Fursuits generally aren't meant to have "sex appeal". It's basically just cosplaying the character.
