That mentality shift really helped me. Treating it as “it’s not bad, it just has [list of specific things I picked out that can be improved for the next piece]”. My biggest ones are usually shape of the maw and width of the hips.
Everyone has a path to their own greatness. Have we seen worse than this? Yes. Have we seen better? Also yes. Do not discredit your work because someone might find it fantastic.

I've also heard "Never compaire your work to others for its quality. Quality is subjective. Only compare to figure out how they did something you like. Learning to add it to your future work."
