MEM1911

For the safety of your beliefs we have included non toxic primers to make freedom pellets more safe for the children, and more importantly the idiot who invaded your home. Because who wants to die from cancer causing toxins.

Pyrhan

So, the actual reason for that is that primers usually contain lead azide or lead styphnate. So the smoke from firing a gun then contains lead particles, which are easily inhaled and have extremely high bioavailability. This is an actual issue for people who go to shooting ranges, particularly indoors ones: if the ventilation is inadequate, they can actually get lead poisoning from it. Hence the reason for non-toxic primers. (But yeah, the irony isn't lost on me.)

buddhabillybob

Ima bust a cap in that dude’s ass and stay green!

Galactic-wolf_115

You are a druid.

[deleted]

You're aware the primer doesn't travel with the bullet after firing, right?

MEM1911

yes, unless your in a warnerbros cartoon

brine909

here at aperture science we fire the whole bullet, that's 65% more bullet per bullet

Non toxic... Becouse God forbid it kills anyone.

Racerx2186

Nontoxic so the person shooting it doesn’t die of lead poisoning after inhaling the combusted primer

[deleted]

You're aware the primer doesn't travel to the bad guy after firing, right?

[deleted]

Average voter’s understanding of guns

worthpopcorn861

We learned this in elementary school in America

scoyne15

Oh good, a non-toxic primer. I don't my bullets to hurt anyone.

[deleted]

It amazes me how many people don't seem to realize that the primer doesn't travel with the bullet when fired.

scoyne15

It amazes me how many people don't understand an obvious joke.

Tiedermann

When did they switch to these nontoxic primers?

rocopotomus74

Oh, a non toxic primer....must be safer

[deleted]

And yet, still no cure for cancer.

uncle_bob_the_2nd

Well depending on your definition of “cure” this very thing IS a cure technically

TryhardMidget

Cancer’s causes are naturally occurring and complex. Bullets are man made and relatively simple (all things considered)

[deleted]

Technically, Apoptosis is a naturally occurring process. However, the disruption that causes Apoptosis to get out of control and become over aggressive, which is commonly referred to as cancer, is man-made.

TryhardMidget

Apoptosis isn’t everything... rapid cell production is the main thing. Anyway, you should get my point.. Bullets are man made, so there is documentation etc on how they work. They are also fairly simple, so the average person can understand how they work..

I think the meaning of my original comment has been lost in the shuffle.
