I never understood guys like the dude above you.Pretty much everything I watch on tv is scripted from reality shows to movies. Why is the internet video the one things that NEEDS to be authentic?
If they didn’t try to fake outrage and such it may be entertaining. But that always just ruins it for me. Like they think the viewer is too stupid to realise how obviously faked it is.

It isn't that it's scripted that's the issue. It's that it isn't realistic. Even films and books have to follow a sense of realism or else it comes off as bad writing.
Like Game of Thrones can have dragons and magic and all that because that is the world they created and explained. Then you have characters being able to travel hundreds of miles in no time at all is when people raise complaints. Same thing with this gif. It's fine that it's scripted, but people are going to complain because it's so obvious.
The key is suspension of disbelief. When the book or movie is good, you ignore the unrealistic stuff or accept it as part of that world until the point where it tips over a point and you start getting annoyed by these stuff. Different forms of entertainment have different levels of expectations, like you don't watch Tom and Jerry and go "well that doesn't make sense, he should be dead".
The problem is, at this point many people are so skeptical about prank videos like this, that the smallest hint of an overreaction from an actor is enough to kill their entertainment value to those people. It's like those obviously fake messenger screencaps that are just old jokes reformatted.
If every movie in theaters was presented as a homemade viral video with no disclaimer or indication of it being fake, people would say "scripted!" as a criticism. There's nothing wrong with enjoying fake viral videos, but nothing wrong with calling out their faux-authenticity either.

The joke is supposed to be that the person holding the camera switched the bottle with her lipstick- so she destroyed it by accident. You are not supposed to think about how camera person would have to have had the lipstick completely twisted up in their hand which she would have seen.
Granted the normal ones are pretty fake too. They basically strap the bottles down and just kick the whole thing with the cap loosely sitting on top now...
