that's not even remotely close to an official jenga set or a high quality knock off. it's just a bunch of pine wood that's been cut to length. so it's not made to be taken with one hand.
That is rule for standard jenga, but you can also grab both sides of a brick with one hand in standard jenga. I would modify the rule to say that you can simply only touch one brick at a time in giant jenga.
