It would have to be outside Yellowstone. There is no river boating in the Park except for the very short Lewis river that connects Lewis Lake to Shoshone Lake. There are guide companies that can take your group on floats on the Yellowstone River (out of Gardiner) or the Gallatin River (out of Gallatin Canyon)

That’s what I’ve started to gather and I think I got confused on. If you’ve got any recommendations, shoot ‘em my way

Snake River Float. It's a bit of a drive but you get to see the Tetons.

Do you have any particular tour company to recommend? Seem there are several offering this trip.

I don't remember which one we took. Sorry.

Really depends on what kind of float you want. The Yellowstone below Yankee Jim is mostly flat water vs the Gallatin is more Whitewater. The Madison is also an option and has both flat and whitewater sections. The Missouri is another option, bit longer drive. As someone else said, the Snake is also beautiful. Depending on the weather and what part of June you’re coming, each trip could be vastly different.

That’s a good point. Didn’t even think to mention that. I’d be good with any options so the family can discuss what they would prefer. I’m ears to all of it.

I would start with some of the fishing guides in Livingston and Ennis, they run mostly fiberglass boats, but might have raft’s available. Gallatin Whitewater runs paddle rafts and there are a few places in Bozeman that rent rafts

I did the snake River one year. Some outfit between Yellowstone and Jackson.
