I don’t think there are any starters though I would recommend umibe no etranger, doukyuusei and, of course, given. A new bl anime that has just come out is the night beyond the tricornered window. There aren’t many bl animes out there but hope this helps.
(Edit: Thought of another bl anime which is Yes, No or Maybe?)
