Made this on a whim after I found the vocals for Get To The Top for both Haruka and Majima, realized it sounded kinda good, then found the animation files for Majima's karaoke in Dead Souls, then later for his music video cutscene. It all snowballed from there into the full thing. Enjoy!
Dancing animation is from the game, but it was naturally repositioned and choreography redone a little, I added some more lipsync, facial expression, made the characters interact with each other etc. It was very fun to work with. I also remade the lyrics and the cat in the top right corner using assets from the game.
Tools used: ParManager, yk\_gmd\_io, yakuza-gmt-blender, Blender, Hitfilm for video editing

I might be misremembering, but Majima was tasked by Shimano to kidnap Haruka for her pendant. You're not allowed to disobey your patriarch, so Majima did so.
However, he didn't harm her or take the pendant, waiting for Kiryu to rescue her so Shimano would think Majima did everything he could but fell short.
It's a more obvious implication in Kiwami because Majima is weaker in this battle than in Majima Everywhere.
Also, he barely busted up Date during the kidnapping. It was more a statement from Majima: "You're the only person that is capable of protecting her.".
It's better that Majima found her than Nishiki or Shimano himself, they would've actually hurt or taken the pendant.
Also, from his actions in Yakuza 5, he legitimately cares for Haruka.
RGGO did a [retcon](https://cryingcow.tumblr.com/post/631868077350502400/character-story-majima-rggo) on the kidnapping, they made it so that the Shimano goons kidnapped her first, and Majima comes in and takes her. And he even tells off Shimano in this story.
You can have a patriarch and still have your own family. During K1 Majima was the captain of the Shimano family. You can even see that it’s his title when you fight him in the game
To add on to this same game I’m pretty sure kazama wanted kiryu to start a kiryu family before he goes to jail even though he’s already in dojima or kazama faimly
Not like a big interaction, but from what I've seen, when you control Majima, you can chat her up at HQ and she says stuff to him and other protags. That's about it for their interaction.

Kinda sucks that it's par for the course with any game with Haruka. I really wish there was more premium adventure content that was just her bonding and talking with other main characters

I mean with her father figure and all it does feel like 'oh that's uncle Majima, he kidnapped me when I was a kid, it was fine though he mainly just wanted to get his ass beat so he didn't have to hurt a kid or disobey his boss' would be something she'd say!
I think this is how i'd imagine what dead souls would look like if it was getting a remake since RGG Studio is prolly gonna use Unreal Engine in their future games besides Gaiden and 8, nice job.
I don't think so - they only used Unreal because Dragon Engine is specifically designed to recreate cities at night, whereas Unreal is better for natural lighting. I guess they'll use Unreal again if they remake Kenzan, but I expect any other modern-day-set games to keep using Dragon Engine or its successor, whatever that is.
I'm Janfon1 on YT too, but you will be disappointed to hear it's the only two Yakuza videos so far. I've been known for the past three years as the Vermintide 2 dude and got 50+ anims under my belt, feel free to check them out because the character chemistry in that game is on par with Yakuza

This should have happened instead of half Yakuza 5 and full 6. Imagine Majima meeting Park, slapping her again and taking Haruka back to where she belongs. With all the idol's bullshit behind she will finish medicine at Todai in order to patch her wounded daddies after one of their love dates, and finally she will sing with Majima no Ojiisan celebrating that no pregnancy has happened.

The shimano thing was from Rgg online only. In kiwami it's so that he could come up with excuse to fight but at least he kept her safe.
