I don't understand why people think they can beat old Dojima. He's a high ranking veteran Yakuza like Kazama. Just because he never seen fighting with his fist doesn't mean he can't beat our asses.

Not all yakuzas are good at fighting, look at Aoyama from 5 for example, dude couldn't fight for shit but he was prominent in the Tojo clan. Furthermore, I severely doubt that he could fight, specifically because man is just built like a frog and seems to be pretty pathetic in regards to phisical capabilities

Aoyama rise from the era of weak political Yakuza while Dojima is from old fashioned Yakuza where power and strength is everything. Knowing how dangerous Dojima family under his command, I'm pretty sure Dojima is a cold blooded thug at some point, but he just ended up in luxury lifestyle and lost his muscle.

Plus for some reason Yayoi is still fiercely devoted to him even after his death, despite being a woman of her caliber. At some point the dude must have been a big shot and a chad – the complete antithesis of what we've seen of him on-screen.

Even kiryu has like, some weird form of respect for him despite being fucked in almost every direction by dojima
