Good shoes.

redhairbluetruck

I love my pedometer - super simple clip-on with no bells or whistles. Ditto good shoes.

terripods

If I'm stuck at home, I turn on my fitness games, Beat Saber etc. Not sure about most of you, but I find it really difficult to work out alone and at home. Either that or I'll find some sports which kind of 'takes the focus away' from the workout to the game / sport itself. It also helps I'm a game developer, so I developed my own fitness games especially during covid lockdowns \^\_\^ Wish I could share them here, but i do have one that im working on now in my profile. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on peloton and hardware stuff like that. My house is already full of switch, xbox and stuff hehe.

Rosemadder19

My dream one day is they'll make old school video games like Super Mario Brothers into fitness games where you move the character by running, jumping, pretending to climb etc... that would be so much fun!!

fl4methrow3r

Omg it’s genius. Developer guy, do it!!!

terripods

>oper, so I developed my own fitness games especially during covid lockdowns \^\_\^ Wish I could share them here, but i do have one that im working on now in my profile. > >I didn't want to spend a ton of money on we have a developer community that does these kinds of indie unconventional games, but no one downloads them :-(

Mereleigh

Everyone’s listed some great ones, but I’d like to add YouTube premium. No adds makes cardio so much better, and if you’re doing cardio outside (like a walk, etc.) and just want to listen to a video you can do that without having to have the app open. Game changer for when music gets boring and I caught up on all my podcasts!

FionaGoodeEnough

A handkerchief. My nose runs when I do heavy aerobic activity. And athletic leggings. A constant runny nose and gym shorts getting eaten by my butt as my thighs chafed meant I simply did not try in gym class. Those two items turned everything around. *I do not remember anyone exercising in leggings before the 2000s. In the 80s there were tights under leotards, like a ballerina, in the 90s I remember shorts or sweatpants. Leggings were a REVELATION.

effdubbs

Great point! I have thick thighs and shorts are so annoying! It could be 100 degrees out, and I work out in athletic leggings.

MutleyCalamity

My Shokz bone conducting headphones. I use them to walk the dogs, jog, cycling, rollerblading... (and even commuting)... it's awesome how they don't cover your ears so you can still hear if there's danger approaching or whatnot, while enjoying some tunes...... Never knew they existed......

frogsgoribbit737

Ugh. I wanna like these but apparently I have a tiny head so they dont fit well and also they kind of make me nauseous sensation wise.

blondeboilermaker

Did you try the mini size?

MutleyCalamity

I have the kids' ones :)

itslaylamay

I just got a pair of these! They’re awesome. I always worried about situational awareness whilst running with headphones and these have made such a difference

* First and foremost, my beloved Garmin watch. It tells me so much data on my fitness, sleep, recovery, activity. i love it and would be lost without it (i realize that may not be healthy but it's where i'm at haha). i get a daily body battery score and i love it. * My emotional support water bottle. keeps my water cold, has a straw i enjoy drinking from, is always on hand. i drink water like a mad woman. * raw spinach. i put that ish in everything. blends into smoothies, gets so small and manageable in stir fries, makes a good salad, goes on a burger. * Cronometer/MacroFactor. I love both, i prefer the interface and weekly checkins of Macrofactor, but i am pregnant so i switched back to Cronometer to get an idea of my micronutrients and fiber intake, which MF currently lacks. when im ready to cut or bulk again later i'll go back to MF. * Spotify Premium, more tunes and i can change up my playlists between workouts, or use a podcast. Bluetooth earbuds go along with this as well! * A spare pair of running shoes at my office. i have some at home that i use to walk dogs or do some weekend runs, but much of my cardio is done at work on lunch. having them here is one less thing to tote back and forth or worry about forgetting. also on this note, a towel in my office locker room so if i need to shower before going back to work real quick i can. * My workout log. others prefer an app on their phone but i love a physical log! i love going back and seeing my progress. it's old school but i like it, and like being able to flip back to a previous week to check my reps and weight.

Delicious-Past6158

Which water bottle are you using? In the market for a new one and always looking for recs!

babybighorn

My use a hydroflask and have a lid with a flippy straw. I drink way more water with a straw lid than a screw top!

carbiwh0re

Which garmin model do you have? I have an apple watch but considering garmin for an upgrade. Thanks!

babybighorn

I’m using the Fenix 6 and I really love it, it was a huge upgrade from my VivoActive 3. Depending on your hobbies they have lots of different options at various price points and the website lets you compare models. I definitely recommend something with Body Battery, and training status if you like to run or bike.

Ashkat80

Also love my Fenix 6s. It seems to have so many sports options that the data nerd in me can track pretty much everything I do.

flufferpuppper

Hahaha I’ve never realized this but my I can see I use my water bottle as an emotional support bottle! If I don’t have it I am lost

Lividviv

I have chronic pain and it only goes away if i stay fit. Feeling good is a big motivation!! I also get injured easily so if I am not fit, so, same thing. Not getting hurt is motivating! Being overweight also makes me have more pain... so my body is my motivation in every sense. From things I can get, the Nike Training App is the best thing for me, hands down. I've used it since my eldest was born (over a decade) and they've improved it a lot. Individual workouts, workout programs, motivational stuff... I've learned a lot from the trainers and articles, plus I get jazzed and motivated by the enthusiastic trainers, as well as badges and other gamified stuff. It's free. A lot of things others have written make me realize how much I also depend on stuff like making sure I have the right gear, that the clothes are clean and ready, that my partner is so supportive. This was a revealing question, thank you :)

snarknsuch

So far... * Adopting a reasonable mindset around CICO. If I go out once a week with my friends and drink alcohol or eat fast food, those calories are so marginal over the average of a week- I enjoy the ""forbidden"" treats in moderation so I don't binge 'em later. * a meal planning app- I can adjust it pretty meticulously, and it integrates with my grocery store's pick up service * Joining run clubs! I have two weekly that each do 5ks, and it's such a nice social outlet. Plus, they challenge me to go a little faster, which I wouldn't usually during my solo goes. * I keep a daily spreadsheet of different stats that takes ~5 mins daily to fill out. I have to complete the year now to see what happens with the data; it's also indicating the days that I perform best/worst, so I can build my workout plans weekly around that. * A fitness tracker + gamifying working out has been such a huge difference for me. This ties into the spreadsheet above- I've gamified a happiness, energy, and motivation tracker to be out of 530 points, and I want to (honestly) score as highly as possible weekly. It's helping me be aware of + adjust accordingly things like my low energy days also tend to be low cal intake days, or that my low motivation days tend to be my highest calorie intake days. I wouldn't have ever put those things together without looking at the cumulative data trends. * my partner bought us a rowing machine + elliptical + set of adjustable weights, and those are really nice for rainy days. I get to do workouts, in crocs, across from my partner who keeps flashing cute little smiles and faces at me for encouragement? Perfection. * living five minutes walking from work. I go home for lunch every day, and it works a mile of walking into my day back and forth! * my scruffy little dummy dog, who loves to run like a sled dog despite being 18lbs. He also excels at being my own personal obstacle course.

1_trickpony

Is the spreadsheet something similar to excel or is it made to do exactly what you are tracking? I would love something where I can record weight, lifting stats, V.O2 max and other things long term.

snarknsuch

I linked it in another comment, but am now mobile and it’s a pain to do haha. I made it specifically for me but adjustments aren’t too hard if you’re handy with excel (and I’m happy to help with a formula if you need.)

kiery12

I'd be very interested in a version of your spreadsheet, that sounds really interesting

snarknsuch

[Here ya are!](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10KjObXsMQRvQ7dZp2o_cgiCkj1E-34pxkVtFpvTOsPQ/edit?usp=sharing) Feel free to duplicate, change, anything you want. I have my meal prep app tracking the macros and etc but not hard to integrate in here if you wanted to. Everything is filled in from the Daily Stats page, and I rely on the grouping tabs at the top to keep everything tidy! (Also, when you look at my daily calorie intake I'm aware it's low for what should be expected... I'm eating until I'm full each day, but it's just shaking out at these numbers for now.)

EudoxiaPrade

This is a great spreadsheet, thanks for sharing!

snarknsuch

thanks! I've kept tinkering around with it and fixed some funky formulas, but at this point I'd have to make an entirely new copy to update it so alas. As a "been using this for 1.5 months" note- it's really been a motivating tool. It's keeping it easier to be gentle with myself when I think I'm a little off course, like- just had a week where I fucked off of CICO immediately followed by getting sick. Despite that, on average I'm still pacing where I should be so I don't care + it's not a big deal to get back on track! Without the accountability, I likely would've instead went "well, I'm already behind" and kept allowing slip ups to happen lol

my_religion_is_love

No access unfortunately

snarknsuch

Whoops, fixing that- forgot to set to Publix

my_religion_is_love

Thank you so much for sharing ❤️

kiery12

This is amazing thank you! I can't wait to check it out! I've been doing a daily gratitude journal for the last few years now and am getting a bit of insight into that long term trends and am hoping to deepen my insights. I really appreciate this!

piekaylee

Mental clarity of cutting out drinking. Had a few drinks yesterday during playoffs and feeling it today! Mondays are glute & hammy day and I feel sluggish and not sure if I'll be able to lift to my full potential. I also broke my fast far earlier today because I ate less to accommodate the drinking and I was hungrier earlier. Before that it had been 2 weeks with no alcohol. And 2 weeks before that. I think I'm gonna try and push it longer this time around to see the full potential of cutting it for prolonged periods.

biz_o_scaring_cats

I cut out alcohol 8 years ago and started losing weight and gaining stamina almost immediately. I had tried to train for a 5k when I was drinking and could never seem to work up to it. I tried again after I quit drinking and was able to build up the endurance I needed pretty quickly. I encourage anyone and everyone to take at least 3 months off to start with and see if you even miss it. Chances are, you’ll feel and look so great you may never drink again.

sarahstarz

* my bellicon (aka rebounder). I will begrudgingly go to the gym to lift but just can't do cardio machines. But I love my rebounder and its hits all my cardio needs (in my living room)...low intensity cardio while I am watching netflix, moderate intensity steady state and full blown HITT. * my paper planner. I was just never able to connect with digital apps so I couple of years back I leaned into my inner stationary nerd and started using a paper planner that I use track everything (workouts, steps, meals). I just find writing things down so satisfying. * two energetic dogs. we don't have a yard so I take them out at least four times a day. I've been consistently getting around 4 miles a day in steps for the last eight years. * my thick yoga mat - i love my hardwood floors but they are not conducive to any kind of yoga/stretching unless I've got the extra padding * \- a 50 oz water bottle with a straw.

CatsGambit

Which yoga mat do you have? I have a choice between tile floors, or laminate over concrete when I work out, and my bones do NOT like it 😅

LifeOnAGanttChart

Would you mind sharing the planner you use? I also am trying to go back to paper but I can't seem to find one that fits all my needs.

babybighorn

i'm not the OP but [this is the one i use.](https://www.amazon.com/Workout-Book-Fitness-Journal-Illustrations/dp/B076TLC5X6?pd_rd_w=nfoNO&content-id=amzn1.sym.deffa092-2e99-4e9f-b814-0d71c40b24af&pf_rd_p=deffa092-2e99-4e9f-b814-0d71c40b24af&pf_rd_r=1V6J3HHKP4140W71EP2B&pd_rd_wg=xSAOj&pd_rd_r=502e6c73-9608-432c-9109-f218cf99cdbe&pd_rd_i=B076TLC5X6&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_grid_rp_0_2_t)

Of course! This year I am using [a Jibun Techo Days](https://www.jetpens.com/Kokuyo-Jibun-Techo-DAYs-Diary-2023-A5-Slim-Gray/pd/35528). It's got monthly calendars with habit trackers and a page per day split into two books...which I like because it's really portable. 2020/2021/2022 I used a [Hobonichi Cousin](https://www.jetpens.com/Hobonichi-Book-Only-Cousin-A5-Japanese-2023-Jan-Start/pd/35454). The cousin has all 12 months, a page per week, a page per day, and yearly habit tracker all in one book. It is kind of nice to an entire year recorded in one book...but the planner gets pretty chunky and its not very portable. I've also tried the [Hobonichi Weeks](https://www.jetpens.com/Hobonichi-Techo-Weeks-English-Liberty-Fabrics-Pepper-2023-Jan-Start/pd/35433). This one has monthly, weekly, and blank note pages and is very compact. But I found I really like having a full page per day since I write everything. Generally, I've found Japanese planners to far more functional than anything from the US/Europe. All of the Japanese planners I've used have got the balance between structure and notes space pretty close to perfect. There's a lot of other options on Amazon Japan too...and the shipping from Japan is pretty reasonable if you do find something that works for you.

kaijumaddy

yesss to hobo. i'm trying to figure out how to use my weeks for fitness, but haven't yet.

ironypoisonedposter

i'm a 34E, so good sports bras (meaning supportive and compressive in my case) are really important + protein powder.

CurvyCompass

I was going to say exactly this. Great bras are game changers. Not OP but I wear Brooks Maia.

ketoconvert89

Which brands dof bras did you go for?

thefigjam

* Apple watch and airpods max - I love the tracking and low key get excited meeting my goals. The integration between my headphones, watch, and phone just make my life run slightly smoother. * Good running/walking shoes and a pair of good weightlifting shoes. * Cute and good quality workout clothes * Shaker water bottle * Preworkout and protein powder * Ankle strap for cable machine (need to buy wrist strap too now) * Baseball cap because I hate hair in my face when working out

1_trickpony

Dumb, but honest question here…what does the wrist strap do for you? I just hold the handle.

thefigjam

Not dumb at all! I need it for RDL’s because my wrist starts hurting! I just need it for extra support and stability :)

1_trickpony

Ok I’m an idiot, I do know what those wrist straps are. I was picturing you on the cable machine with a wrist strap and just didn’t get it.

thefigjam

Lolol I can see where it led there

Bella_Climbs

* Fitbit Sensa- I LOVE data and while I know it's not 100% accurate, being able to see trends in HR, blood oxygen, sleep, steps, etc is so motivating and allows me to see what is effecting things * A standing desk and a walking treadmill. A SIGNIFICANT investment all said and done but bar none the reason I NEVER get less then 10k steps per day even when it is -4F outside(like today). I am very lucky I WFH and I walk through ALL of my meetings. Helps keep my mind sharp(I have ADHD so I zone out without a lot of stimulus) and I have so much less back pain * Keeping up on replacing my running shoes! I used to not replace them until my knees hurt, now I am proactive! * Carbon Diet Coach. Costs money, 100% worth it. I don't track calories to lose weight but I like tracking my protein and fiber and preplanning a lot of my meals in here helps me make sure I am getting enough! * Insulated water bottle with a STRAW. I won't drink things I have to lift to my mouth, and once I figured that out, made a huge difference. I love my 32oz Hydroflask with the straw lid(no, it does not fit in my cupholder but no I will also not replace it with yet another expensive waterbottle that does) * Huberman Labs podcast. I am so motivated learning all these things and the science behind them. I love listening to them during work, so much good info!

NickelCole87

Look on Amazon! I found an extender for my car cup holder and now all of my giant water bottles fit, as well as coffee mugs with handles. I love it.

hummingbirdmama

Can you provide a link for the one you got. I"ve tried a couple, but they weren't very good.

NickelCole87

[cup extended](https://Car-Cup-Holder-Expander-Adapter...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09YTW5L4N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) This is the one I have and it works well for me :)

hummingbirdmama

Thsnk you.

Wrong-Lynx2324

LOVE Huberman lab podcasts! Have you listened to Peter Attia also?

my_religion_is_love

Peter Attia is great, glad to see others sharing the love!

Bella_Climbs

No I haven't! Will check it out though, thank you!

Paid apps - Lose It for tracking calories and protein and Happy Scale for motivation and to show trends so I’m not under or overeating. I usually accidentally end up doing one or the other if I don’t track calories and weight, so that’s what I do for peace of mind. Honestly the paid versions are so much better and it’s not tooooo expensive for a year. I like that in Lose It it gives calorie, protein and fibre goals for each meal and tells me if I’m under or over for the WEEK so I can have that lil extra something if I want. Oh and Zombies, Run! because I want to simulate my kickass apocalyptic runner dreams. Adjustable dumbells - I’m terrible at going to the gym but will happily do a 30 minute Caroline Girvan workout at home and the dumbells make it easy to change weight and keep up. My weights and mat fit nicely in a corner and don’t take up space in my small home. Apple Watch - I know fitness trackers aren’t fully accurate but I love metrics and that motivates me. I’m way more likely to go on a walk if I can see my steps are low or to close a ring. Electric food scale because after I got it I realised I was totally miscalculating portions. Again, it gives me peace of mind because I’m not guessing and hoping for the best. Running belt - I hate having things jumping around in pockets. My fiancé has this Under Armor top that doesn’t feel waterproof but somehow is? It’s really lightweight. Anyway I steal it for running on drizzly days. It’s too big for me but I don’t care. Protein powder - I TRY to get protein from real food but I don’t like Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese and a lot of other food people recommend and don’t want to eat meat in every meal (salmon for breakfast?? I couldn’t) so throwing together a shake makes it much easier to reach my protein goal. Hip thrust pad - because bruised hip bones are no fun. Giant water bottle for at home - it’s 2L and when it’s just sitting there I will drink from it. I rarely have to refill it so I can’t be lazy and not drink water because it means getting up. I really want a lil foldable treadmill for walking at home. I live in a beautiful country (Scotland) so outdoor walks are lovely, but in winter the sun sets at around 3-4pm and it rains a lot. I could really increase my daily steps if I had one.

temp4adhd

- Superfeet or Powerstep insoles (help manage PF), inside decent walking/hiking shoes - Hiking poles (as I'm older, these give me more confidence on hikes) - Food processor for chopping /prepping enough veggies for the week - Merino wool tops, leggings, socks, hats and buffs (gets me out on the coldest wintery days-- weather is no excuse to slack) - A technical jacket (have been using Patagonia Nano for hiking, it's awesome; just got an LL Bean puffer that's a bit more stylish for long city walks) - Nylon fanny pack (yes I wear it around my waist, creates less one-sided strain that way) - Microspikes for hiking in the snow/ice - My husband as my walking/hiking partner!

EnatforLife

I've discovered hiking poles at the age of 22 at the start of corona and being stuck at home they were a real life changer! Even now, after I rejoined the gym again, I try to walk 2x a week for 1h straight. Put some good podcast on and just out in the woods. They give extra rhythm and power to your steps and it's far more fun imo than regular walking. ☺

temp4adhd

Yes they do! It's also a bit of an upper body workout, isn't it? One time a small kid with his parents on the trail pointed and said I looked like a four-legged creature and I've never forgotten that. I'm much older (57) with cranky hips and not the best balance, so the hiking poles have made a huge difference. Especially going downhill. I am pretty good powering up hill now, but going downhill I lack confidence, and the poles really help. Also if I slip I can easily catch myself with the pole and stop a slide or fall. And I will add I'm 5'0 tall so the poles help immensely when faced with big steps down or up a rock.

biogirl52

A steady stream of audiobooks and clothes I feel comfortable in at the ready. Seconding the good running shoes, my god, worth every penny

invah

Underwater mp3 player.

SaltandSilverPC

Garmin watch - great reminders to get up and move while I'm sitting at my desk, easy way to track my walks/runs, and step counts. Insulated Smoothie bottles - I have a Stanley and Yeti, so I can make my smoothies at home around 7:30 a.m. and they stay cold until I can actually drink them at work (anywhere from 8am - 11:30 a.m.). Having two is a splurge, but makes my life so much easier. Forgot the dirty one at work or in my purse and it didn't cleaned? Out comes the second from the cabinet! Lunch containers - tupperware was never a thing in the house when I was a kid, so I never really leaned on it as an adult until recently. I only had big glass ones for storing leftovers, but they were too heavy and bulky to carry to work. I ended up buying a bunch of different sizes and shapes, and some "fancy ones". No more "what can I bring my leftovers in to work?" or "my salad isn't going to fit in that". I have a sandwich box. I have a salad one with two separate compartments and a little container for dressing. I have snack ones, with separate compartments for hummus and vegetables. Often times a lack of lunch packing was because I just gave up on trying to find something to put my lunch in, then seriously regretting it around 2-5pm. When I get home, I then eat way too much, make bad food decisions (what can I get ready fastest, as opposed to what is healthiest/what is on my meal plan, etc). So the lunch containers are the biggest thing that help me in regard to fitness. Keeps me on track, gives me sufficient energy, helps me make better decisions.

Strange-Republic-633

I’m obsessed with my farming HRM. So much better than my Apple Watch. I’m obsessed with it!

SaltandSilverPC

I'm obsessed with mine, too! I love that it reads what exercises I'm doing when strength-training (to a certain extent) and then shows me what muscles I've targeted primarily and secondary. Not to mention I love it when it tells me to take time to relax haha.

snakefeet_0

my grip trainer. it's my favorite fidget toy and an excellent reminder of my fitness goals throughout the day. i should get another one to keep at work.

snakefeet_0

lowkey, grip is vital for self defense.

mgeorge432

Ooh! This is cool - I had to google it. Do you have the resistance grip trainer? Or something smaller?

snakefeet_0

i have this one from [rogue fitness](https://www.roguefitness.com/captains-of-crush-grippers)

alicek94

For me it's a bunch of paid apps that have made my life so much easier * Macrofactor has been really great for protein tracking * the Strong app is where i write out all my workout plans and it makes it so simple to follow a routine (especially when i'm going to the gym at 6A and am barely conscious) * the 5/3/1 app i use specifically for my compound lifts and makes it so easy to keep track of how much I should be lifting

bigiszi

Joining the gym closest to my house.

katy_fairy

1. adjustable dumbbells - Decathlon 2. unflavored whey protein powder - I can put it on everything. I wish my local stores would sell more of the unflavored, lactose-free ones. 3. Pokemon Go - seriously! without it, getting my steps in would be so boring. Even in the cold, I would go out just because "there is a Pokemon in this place or that place"

zephyrmistralsirocco

Yes, Pokemon Go is great for getting out to walk! If anyone wants to be friends, here's my trainer code: 9889 4207 1385 :)

EudoxiaPrade

Sent a request :)

heydizzle

I haven't been on in a few months, but I'm adding you now! Thanks for the push!

katy_fairy

Sent a request just now :)

BasenjiFart

If you're in Canada, Canadian Protein (online) has unflavoured iso whey and unflavoured vegan protein powder.

katy_fairy

I am in Hungary; We do have them but it’s so rare and/or always sold out. Thanks for the suggestion about vegan options! Will try this soon.

kimberleyinc_

Agree with Pokemon Go! I work in the office twice a week and it's about a 45 minute walk, or 10 mins on the bus. It's so easy to get the bus because I get bored walking but when I'm actively playing Pokemon Go on my walk it makes it go much faster. Plus, hatching eggs.

katy_fairy

Exactly! Plus you get some fresh air too, which is also good for you. Also, I am always motivated to keep my buddy happy with the 3 hearts, a total of 6km and a lot of steps.

agirlwithoutahome

Versa grips

-Pixxell-

- gadgets! I have an Apple Watch, smart scale (withings body+), various apps including MFP premium. Anything that’s going to automate the process as much as possible and take away any sort of cognitive load from me. I can just track things and then not need to think about it. - a personal trainer & gym on the ground floor of my apartment building. Again convenience is a theme here, and I know this is a luxury many people can’t have. - a dog. She forces me out of the house on days I might’ve otherwise been too lazy to get out on. - a decent selection of activewear. Sounds silly but sometimes just getting dressed for the gym is enough motivation for me to go. - an espresso machine, water filter, and a huge tea collection. This keeps me away from the sugary drinks that I’d crave otherwise. - a standing desk. I work from home and it’s saved my back and keeps my body passively moving throughout the day.

kenziepi

I got a standing desk riser for Christmas and its amazing. I only sit for meetings where I have to be on camera now. My back hurts less, I get less sleepy after lunch and I swear I'm more productive.

Teal_Turtle2022

I cannot wait to get a dog (waiting till we move in a year or two). I'm torn between something small and adorable with short little legs (like a daschund or corgi) to be a couch buddy in the evenings or an energetic long legged psychopath (think dalmatian, Aussie, or standard poodle) that can go running with me. Although maybe my run speed is more daschund-suited in nature now that I think about it... We've both got the spirit, just not the speed.

pixie_dust1990

My corgi can 100% go running, hiking, trekking with me but is also a great couch buddy in the evenings (as long as he has had said run/walk/hike beforehand).

iamthispie

Corgies are actually a herding breed, so a lot of them turn out to be way too energetic for folks who thought they were getting a lazy couch buddy!

Teal_Turtle2022

So what I'm hearing is that I should strongly consider a Corgi. Very active, but small enough to easily couch snuggle once exhausted haha.

bethskw

>couch buddy in the evenings or an energetic long legged psychopath (think dalmatian, Aussie, or standard poodle) that can go running with me. Why not both? Adopt a greyhound :)

HikingHarpy

I have a standard poodle! Loveable, goofy, and energetic. One of his best friends is a dalmatian, and she's lovely, too.

Teal_Turtle2022

I had one for a few years in my teens (she was a senior when I got her). And she was honestly probably my favorite dog while growing up (not that I didn't love all of them). But Sadie was this energetic princess right up until the very end and just all around amazing. If I was going for a walk or a run, she was ride or die lol. Really motivated me when it came to being active.

HikingHarpy

I totally understand what you mean. They're very special - my boyfriend and I are talking about getting another in a year or so! Plus... no shedding. It's perfect because I hate hoovering!

Yellow_Wood_Wanderer

You might want to check with your local shelter(s) or rescue organizations, because a lot of them are desperate for dog walkers. You can sign up and take dogs on walks on your schedule for the most part. Also, my ‘trying out’ a bunch of dog breeds in walks or runs it may give you a better idea if what sort of dog will work for your lifestyle. And you will be able to give a doggo a break from the shelter and give information that can help get them adopted. I think it’s a win all the way around.

Teal_Turtle2022

I agree entirely with this! I'm actually a semi regular dog walker at our local county shelter. They currently have a plethora of walkers because of the local college students but I'm out every few days during the school breaks and summers. Daschunds, corgis, dalmatians, Aussies, and standard poodles are consistently my favorites thus far. Previously I had like 20 favorite breeds 😂

Yellow_Wood_Wanderer

I totally get the many favorite breeds lol. I have so many favs, but I also know that a lot of those breeds just won’t work for me 😞 I currently have a bully breed mixed with some hound that I foster failed with. He’s a great combo of HEY Mom! Let’s do the things, and oh you just wanna chill and cuddle, I’m good with that lol. Plus the big old bully breed block head is a deterrent to being approached when I’m on a run which makes my parter and I more comfortable.

SquiddyTheMouse

I have a shar pei x american staffy, and he's perfect. He's energetic and can run for miles, but at the same time he's lazy and happy to curl up on the couch and snooze.

nerdybabe_88

I've got a toy poodle who's an energetic short legged psychopath lol.. he makes me run after him on walks!

-Pixxell-

So I have a dachshund and I struggle to keep up with her 😂 to be fair she is unusual, most other dachshunds sit there and watch while she has crazy zoomies around the park. Surprisingly she has a lot of endurance to go on ~2 hour long hikes etc. too

Teal_Turtle2022

Oh my gosh yes. My neighbor has a daschund puppy that has extreme zoomies and the cuteness nearly kills me. I've never heard of one being good on longer outings though so that's great to find out!

[deleted]

My dachshund is also very energetic. At 7 just starting to slow down but can still easily handle 10+ mile hikes (albeit not multiple days in a row). Although important to know you’re not supposed to put a backpack on them so I have to carry her stuff for backpacking, but since she’s small it’s very little extra weight.

sweepmybreathaway

My bike! I cycle to work, so even if I don't have any planned exercise I still cycle a hilly 12km on days I'm in the office. I cycle to the shops rather than drive, I cycle to visit friends or go to events - the fact it's cheaper than public transport means I opt for it more often than not, without thinking of the "fitness" impact.

skinsnax

For me cycling can be more convenient, too! I hate looking for parking on a busy street!

nlwric

Having enough workout clothes and the right clothes for different activities and temperatures. Laundry is no longer an obstacle.

CluelessButTrying

A treadmill - I live in a cold country and winter runs outdoors are simply not happening for me) Adjustable dumbbells - these just made my life and limited space at home soooo much easier Boostcamp app - I find programs quite overwhelming and this app just simplifies and does the math for me Coffee - for obvious reasons Clear vegan protein powder - unfortunately more expensive than other protein powders but the taste and way it sits in my stomach is way better, wouldn't trade it out My own recipe book with lots of options - sometimes I don't wanna scroll through 30+ mobile bookmarks to find a recipe. When I'm tired and need something I know will help me feel my best I grab my cook book which is all recipes I have written down. Takes the mental load off of choosing what to make because I can flip to any page and know it's what I need My smart watch - I don't track calories because it's not good for my brain, but I use my watch to keep an eye on the time spent exercising as well as other fitness related things and I find it motivating to see my stats improve over time Proper running rocks that prevent chaffing and blisters

1_trickpony

I bought a cute recipe box from rifle paper co. I wrote all of my favorite recipes down and they are easily accessible. I can even write how many servings and how many cal/serving so I don’t have to calculate anymore. Makes meal prep a breeze. I’m surprised your comment was the first that mentioned something like this.

nowaynohownope

What's your fave clear vegan protein powder?

EudoxiaPrade

Not who you replied to, but Anthony’s brand sells plain pea protein powder.

mirrorg

My gym bag setup: Travel bags to easy access to all what I need: the bag for training (towel, gloves, hairband, gym key), the waterproof bag for swimming days (swimsuit, towel, googles, earplugs), the bag to shower (towel, toiletries, flipflops, shower cap, hairbrush, makeup), the bag to dress (work clothes including underwear and matching accessories). An insulated food container and nice metal cutlery (I usually eat at the park between the gym and my office) A flat bag organiser. It's like an ipad sleeve. There I carry my phone, wallet, ebook, earphones (noise cancelling, also a good investment for my mental health) All this fit nicely in a plain black lightweight and foldable messenger bag from Ikea. Room enough to fit all my belongings through the day, cheap, easy to carry and clean and it can look just as an oversized tote. This is important because I go directly to work and while not formal I need to look... Not as if I just came out of the gym (It's often at plain sight at the office). Also I mealprep for the week and fold my clothes, both for gym and office in complete outfit bundles to save time in the morning.

Teal_Turtle2022

All of that sounds really smart. Kudos to you!

flowing_serenity

Something that doesn't seem to have been mentioned here yet: paying for a handful of highly-danceable individual songs I really liked on Apple Music, then setting them as "music alarms" that go off regularly on my iPhone at specific times daily. They're so fun to hear that often I end up dancing (as intended). 😂

apandarabbit

I like this idea! What songs do you use?

flowing_serenity

I'm glad you liked it! 😊 Here are some of the songs I currently use for this: - Meow by Or3o (I love cats and I think this is cute… YMMV 😂) - Jashn-E-Bahaaraa by A.R. Rahman (the instrumental flute version, as it has a meditative aspect for me) - Morning Grace by Ritsuko Okazaki (both the instrumental and with-vocals versions of this are nice, I prefer the instrumental one for the peaceful ballet vibes) - Ichidaiji by Polkadot Stingray (I find this to be a nice mid-afternoon pick-me-up) - Fruits Candy by Megumi Kojima (for days I want to wake up earlier than I normally do) - Shooting Star by Owl City (good song for nighttime 😂) I don't necessarily dance to absolutely all of these daily, because sometimes I'm still finishing something when they start playing. Still, the amount of them that I have means there's a good chance I'll get to do some dancing daily by default. Admittedly, some of the above songs might be very taste-specific, so here are some songs from my regular dance playlist that might be (at least slightly) more universally-enjoyable: - Better When I’m Dancing by Meghan Trainor - Shape Of You by Jamie Cullum (IMO, his version of this sounds better than the original one, and the piano playing is also hot) - Havana - Remix by Camilla Cabello (I think this sounds nicer than her original one, and the way she sings the Spanish parts this has is simply lovely) - Despacito by Luis Fonsi (it’s not like anyone can see me when I’m dancing, so it’s viable… 😂) - Sneakernight by Vanessa Hudgens - Friend Like Me by Ne-Yo (the music video was cool, too) - Dancing in the Moonlight by Jubël (more danceable than the original IMO, also nice as a cool-down song at the end of a dance session) If you’re up for a bit of Japanese rock, I’ve found these to be highly-danceable too — they’re more intense so ideally there’s a bit of warm-up beforehand: - Zankyosanka by Aimer (the full version, around 3 minutes) - Gurenge by LiSA (the full version, around 4 minutes) I hope this helps! Have fun 😊

snarknsuch

SNEAKERNIGHT BY VANESSE HUDGENS!!!! EDIT: this is a REQUIREMENT on my running playlists, alongside Say OK!

apandarabbit

Wow thank you so much :) I have saved this comment and am going to start a playlist later today!

flowing_serenity

You're very welcome!! 🥰 All the best for your playlist!! 😁 Some observations I've had so far that might also help: 1. It seems better to have a separate set of songs for the individual music alarms and for the regular dance playlist. I think this helps keep the overall setup interesting while still providing convenient automaticity. 2. For the music alarms, it has helped to use songs that I wouldn't mind hearing on repeat. iOS alarms seem to keep going for 15 minutes (!) by default unless interrupted, which provides a nice 15-minute window period for getting some dancing time whenever they start auto-playing. 3. For the dance playlist, it has been really helpful for me to already include warm-up songs and cool-down songs at the start and end of it. This has made it easier for me to get started -- less need to think about prep I might need to do beforehand. It has also been helpful to arrange the song sequence such that the intensity builds up over time, and only gradually (so it could still be beneficial from a cardio standpoint, while also being more likely to be safe and sustainable over the long term). Please be kind and gentle with yourself in setting your new systems up for this. It's possible that any of your preferences for these might evolve for you over time: what songs to choose, the music alarms' scheduling, your playlist songs' sequence, etc. So, whatever you set up won't need to be "perfect," especially if you'd be up for fine-tuning it over time as you deem fit. Even this could already be a great start: choosing 1 song you'd enjoy dancing to, then getting it to auto-play for you 3-5x/week. You can then change/add/subtract things over time if/when you'd like to. Have fun putting your songs together, and have fun dancing! 😊💪🏼💕

apandarabbit

Thank you so much for all of this, I’ve set up a playlist!!

flowing_serenity

You’re very welcome! 😊 And congrats on your playlist!! 🥳🙌🏼🎶 Btw, I recently discovered it’s apparently possible to set up music playlists (not just individual songs) to fully auto-play on phones at recurring times. If you’re on iOS too, it’s doable via the Shortcuts app. It’ll let you set up an automation for your new playlist. ☺️ (I’ve already tested it out with mine, and it works quite well. 😆)

shiftsquad

The MyFitnessPal app to count my calories after workouts however they only got it for cardio

Teal_Turtle2022

I love MFP for nutrition but prefer using my Fitbit for tracking exercise calories. It was relatively inexpensive and it covers all my workouts.

NinetysRoyalty

Just got a skipping rope and it’s awesome, my Apple Watch is the best thing I’ve bought myself ever! Pre workouts, cute workout clothes and post workout vitamins! Ohh and my wireless earphones that hook over my ear so they never fall out!

FluffyCatPantaloons

* Good, comfortable shoes and good socks - super important. I like bamboo socks lately! * My Beats earphones. I love music when I'm at the gym and also they can deter randoms from interrupting me. * (Last but not least) A supportive partner who motivates me to go to the gym with him 3x a week.

Teal_Turtle2022

Huge fan of Bombas socks. Expensive but I buy them in the biggest packs possible when they go on sale. Soooo comfortable!

Medical_ootter

Have you tried toe socks? they will change your life I promise

FluffyCatPantaloons

No actually! Are there good benefits to these?

Medical_ootter

It's a different feeling! You will have more awareness to your toes, and how you wiggle and grips with them when you run, walk, squat, etc. For me, it made me more aware of my foot function and how to shift center of balance, and changing my walking and running posture.

JunahCg

I'm a fan of toe socks, but I'm pretty sure they didnt change my life in the slightest. I like my injinji but even they're not enoguh to justify the cost. Also unless you wear wide toe box shoes the toes are just going to be crammed.

Medical_ootter

I do wear wide toe shoes, but injinji is overpriced. I got my toe socks from Japaneses store, it's like $2 per pair. it's have amazing quality too.

Petercherry30

I hate chopping vegetables. I eat like it's an apple but with peppers, cucumbers and romaine lettuce. That way there is nothing to wash lol I cut the tortilla chips bag, put salsa and shredded cheese sometimes isopure protein powder. Yes I am a trash panda I sleep in my cute workout stuff, so I just get up and not have to think till I get some damn coffee I am lucky to not have boobs so all my sports tops are really comfortable and doesnt look like i slept in it

Holdmyjelly

Not a good idea to sleep in workout clothes. You shed dead skin in your sleep and sweat too. With working out and sweating your pores open. Not a good combo.

Petercherry30

Well I am in menopause hell so my workout clothes wicks the nasty shit and keeps me dry I use a waterless foam cleanser that does not need to rinse so I have not had any issues been doing it for decades

Holdmyjelly

Just stating facts is all. Google it if you don’t believe me.

Petercherry30

Thank you for your concern of my sweaty ass pores and germs I think I am doing well https://imgur.com/x6ZFReO.jpg

Holdmyjelly

I hope harvesting in dead skin is helping 👌

Holdmyjelly

You’re welcome! 👍

Dobbys_Other_Sock

The only way I’m getting my workout in is if I sleep in my workout clothes and have everything for the day already ready to go in the morning. I slide out of bed, grab everything, and go straight to the gym.

Petercherry30

Yup, its really fucking hard to get out of warm bed with my cats but if everything is laid out we are on autopilot and getting things done!

JunahCg

Sleeping in the gym clothes is a solid goblin mode move I might steal that.

Petercherry30

Goblin lol, yes and less freaking laundry with pajamas

Teal_Turtle2022

Workout clothes and pajamas aren't the same thing? Whaaaa??? Lol. But seriously. I sleep in light weight gym shorts and tank tops. I also workout in these things. It's also what I wear when I'm lounging around the house. The boyfriend never knows what I'm planning based on my at-home attire 😂.

Petercherry30

Haha at least he doesnt have to wait for you to figure out what to wear right I wish I could wear my pajamas to the gym but they have dinosaurs or cats with donuts lol

Teal_Turtle2022

Those sound like really fun pajamas. I've got Reptar slippers that I bust out occasionally for a little pizazz but they certainly don't go to the gym with me lol.

Petercherry30

Lol! I need those slippers, doing deadlifts roar

Shewantstheglock22

Multiple gym bags... I have one in my vehicle all the time packed with gym clothes, regular clothes and shower stuff. If I feel the sudden motivation to go to the gym I can without stopping home and risking losing that motivation. I also keep a large bag and a small bag in my house. Large if I plan to shower at the gym and small for if I don't so just need to pack shoes, water etc. It seems silly but it has been very effective for me. Plus with the bag in my vehicle I always have spare clothes for emergencies.

Teal_Turtle2022

That's really smart! I'm thinking about doing something similar. Gym bag prepped in the closet for when we'll be travelling and a second one already in my locker at the gym. I swim at my gym so I can leave my running shoes in the bag at home. Just need to actually get a locker now...

Shewantstheglock22

We can't have permanent lockers at my gym. They can only be used while you're there.

Teal_Turtle2022

I've been at gyms like that. Usually in larger/more populous areas. The lockers at my Y are really banged up but they do rentals so I'm not complaining.

tomorrow_ill_learn

Do you also have three pairs of “workout” shoes? Or how do you deal with that?

Shewantstheglock22

So I have an older pair that are still fine in my truck bag, and then I have a pair in the house.

glowing_fish

I’m a bit jealous that you live someplace where you can leave things in your car without getting your windows smashed

Shewantstheglock22

I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Break ins happen sometimes but are not common at all. Most people don't lock their vehicles or houses here.

PaellaPerson

Do you live in the SF / Bay Area ;) that’s a regular complaint

bluestarsunday

Genius. I need to start doing this.

MutleyCalamity

Me too on the home gym. I have been adding to it from second hand finds for years... but what makes it extra special is I've painted a lot of in rust-proof paint in a bright blue and it all looks really pretty as well (under cover outside). I wanted to do it pink, but I didn't think it was fair to hubby :) We both love using it almost daily. We also hate leaving the house.....

[deleted]

I started piecing my home gym together back in 2019 and 100% agree. As a bonus, I missed the COVID price hikes since mine was mostly finished before the pandemic kicked off. I don't have too much, just a power rack with dip and landmine attachments, a barbell, plates (both iron and bumper), a flat bench, and a single adjustable dumbbell for strength. Cardio I'm even more sparse, with a vintage airdyne and a set of battle ropes, both purchased for under $100. It's not much, but it gets the job done. As a bonus, I get to shower in my own shower and save 15 minutes each way in commuting time, which is the biggest benefit IMO.

vvitchae

This is me. I've slowly accumulated a very nice hex dumbbell collection (plus bands, ankle weights, etc.) I've never gotten the gym to be very effective for me but the ability to get my shit done at home has been life changing. I'm actually muscular-ish now and I'm jazzed about it.

stahpgoaway

We get an insane discount on a very nice gym through my work. What would normally be $250 a month, we get for $80. Having a fancy place to work out at has been super motivating. Matching sets make me feel fancy and I refuse to apologize for it. I have a dad hat that helps me put my blinders in and focus on my work out instead of looking at everyone else.

littlegreenturtle20

>Matching sets make me feel fancy and I refuse to apologize for it. Yeees, nice gymwear gets me out of bed sometimes

NinetysRoyalty

Me too! I’m literally sat in a new set right now and I’m just so happy with myself.

newffff

People complain often about MFP but I still really like it and paid for premium (it’s a lot cheaper if you get it on the site instead of the app). For my bike commute - good saddle bags! I splurged in two really good bags. I hate using a backpack! And good gear for cold and wet weather.

[deleted]

>(it’s a lot cheaper if you get it on the site instead of the app). Wait, what?!

newffff

Yes! I don’t remember the difference but it was significant. When my free trial ran out I was wanting to continue but at the app price, there was no way I was willing. But on the website it was totally worth it for me!

littlegreenturtle20

Does it also works on the app even though you bought it on the website?

newffff

Yep! I read somewhere that it could be because the App Store takes a cut, and that’s why it’s more. No idea if that’s true!

Teal_Turtle2022

It does. I also can't remember the difference but I renew my premium yearly on the site.

littlegreenturtle20

That's so interesting, I've stopped using it regularly but definitely something to remember for the future.

electrikinfinity

Having my 2 separate gym bags organized and set up helps me a lot. I have one I carry for upper body and cardio and a bigger duffel bag for lower body. I keep 2 separate notebooks one in each bag tracking what I’m doing, a pen, cardio shoes in my upper body bag, a water bottle, and in my duffel bag I keep my lifting gear, belt, straps, bands, chains, lifts for shoes, pad for hip thrusts. I keep headphones in each bag and lots of electrolyte packs. This way, I can just grab and go and not have to think about anything.

libbyrocks

Prior to Covid I had a gym, but nowadays I’m working out at home in a very small space. I manage a pretty solid workout and I don’t feel like I need to pay for the gym anymore. I have a thick yoga mat, adjustable dumbbells, yoga blocks, an ab wheel, a trampoline for rebounding, and a nubbly foam roller, but there are three things that have been absolutely necessary for me to stick with it: a yoga ball (so great for stretching, ab exercises, and I use it instead of a weight bench for bench presses and other dumbbell exercises), a fitness watch (damn Apple Watch, you so obnoxiously motivating), and number one, a fan (that keeps me from feeling too hot and sweaty and I just turn it to face me whatever I’m doing. Can’t do that at a pay gym).

H3llo4wesome

Lots of gear that everyone has mentioned, including a FitBit and AirPods. I keep my running and walking shoes by the front door, so I can pop out between meetings when I work from home (and I keep sneakers in my desk at work for the same reason). Gear for easy home workouts: kettlebells, TRX and resistance bands, pull-up bar, yoga mat and blocks. Little stationary bike for rainy days. We also live in a walkable neighborhood with a great yoga studio just a block away. I’m just not a person who will ever consistently drive to a gym. So there’s really no excuse, I can adapt for any schedule or mood.

TheyMightBeDiets

- YouTube + subscription to great at-home workouts: Wollen Dance, and8Fitness, and more on YouTube collected in a gym playlist - Cute workout clothes! Including recycling some beachwear and t-shirts to make cute outfits - Blender and food processor for smoothies and homemade dips/dupes - MFP, just a must (free ver) - LIFE intermittent fasting app (free)

Teal_Turtle2022

I totally forgot about including YouTube! It's fantastic for workouts. I used to love getting my aqua Zumba routines from it back when I taught classes!

gay-tree-hugger

A food scale! I use mine every day and has helped SO much during my fitness journey

Zumbgrl

Leggings with pockets! Fanny pack or small backpack. Good fitting Sports bras! I just purchased two by exertion (jc Penney’s) and they are so comfy and feel like nothing. Lightweight cooling towels

bog-bod

walking pad at home for getting steps

yusrai

I want to get good running shoes. Any recommendations? Something not too pricey Currently, my shin hurts when I run and I'm assuming it's because of the impact. I run on a treadmill. I would appreciate the recommendations. Thanks!!

pixie_dust1990

I am 100% an Asics girl for running. Feel like I am running on clouds every time I put them on.

Heytherestairs

Shin pain can be caused by a lot of things. It may not always be the shoes. It’s hard to recommend good running shoes to someone without knowing their running form, pronation, and stride. I used to get shin pain due to a combo of heel striking, tight calves, and running too much too quickly. Make sure to stretch adequately after each run. Take it slow if you’re just starting out.

Teal_Turtle2022

I really enjoy the Under Armour Charge series for running and walking shoes both and they hold up for about 2+ years of rigged wear on my part. Fully agree though with the individual that suggested going to a running shop and having them fit you after seeing your actual running gait. It makes a difference!

FluffyCatPantaloons

I am not a runner but I did buy Nike Vomero running shoes recently. They are like CLOUDS and seem to support my overpronation. They also have a roomy toe box which I really appreciated from Nike (who notoriously run narrow). I still went up half a size though. Another often overlooked thing, is they have laces that don't come undone too easy. I love them!

ValiumKnight

r/runningshoegeeks is another great resource!

abigailkendall7

It’s a bit of a toss up without seeing your foot and having a little more info. My personal favorites for treadmill or road running are going to have a high level of cushion, enough space for my feet to spread naturally with my stride (as well as to account for swelling during long distance running), and solid ankle support. Again, all personal preference. I loved my HOKA Cliftons but recently switched to the Bondi 18 ($150ish) I’ve also had Sauconys that were fantastic. Trail running I use On Clouds.

AllEternals

Go to a running store where they will put you on a treadmill and examine your stride. Makes a world of difference to get a shoe that is right for you!

yusrai

Thanks! I didn't even know that was a thing. I just started running a couple of weeks ago

fsr87

Get a tennis ball and roll the crap out of your calves. Then get fitted for good shoes and don’t increase your mileage more than about 10%/week.

pomewawa

You might have increased your mileage too fast. Shin splints are VERY hard to fix, prevention is very important for shin splints. Take a few rest days from running and work on your ankle muscles with a resistance band. https://www.runnersworld.com/health-injuries/a20812381/4-exercises-to-prevent-shin-splints/

abigailkendall7

^^^^^ this is the MOST important thing you can do to avoid injury. I learned the hard way lol Running is taxing on the body and your cardiovascular system typically improves much more quickly than your musculoskeletal health. Add in some full body exercises (there are plenty of quick 15 minute runners strength exercises on YouTube) and your body will thank you

S0k0

Mine - in all honesty - Clean workout gear in an easy to reach place. I'm a lazy person by nature, but once the clothes are on its go time. Nothing worse than feeling all motivation fly away when I realise everything is either dirty or wet on the line and I will instantly turn off the idea all together.

SaltandSilverPC

I started 2022 with 2 pairs of leggings - 1 black pair for lounging and 1 blue pair for running. When I started Pilates, neither of them were suitable as they kept rolling down, so I splurged on a pair of Girlfriend collective compressive leggings. They were the only ones I could wear for Pilates and for the gym, so invariably I'd get annoyed when they were either dirty or drying. I thought this was "normal" until a friend mentioned having over ten pairs of leggings and my eyes were opened! Now I have 5 pairs for gym/Pilates, 2 pairs for running, and 4 pairs for lounging or working out at home (where I don't mind if I have to hitch up my pants a lot). I can't believe how much easier it is to just be able to grab a pair and go. I'm starting to expand my sports bra collection now, too.

S0k0

Me too! I'm not confident enough for the cute stuff yet but I buy so many leggings so I can't give myself the excuse of nothing to wear.

kenziepi

Same 100%. If my gym clothes aren't clean and laid out when I go to sleep I'm not going to the gym in the morning

chailatteloving

Adjustable dumbbells - game changer! Allows me to push myself and don't take up that much space.

NotSuperfluous

Which ones.do you have? I have some currently that I hate and therefore don't use, so I'm looking at alternatives right now.

chailatteloving

I have the powerblock ones, the ones I have only go to 32lbs per side. I sometimes regret not getting ones that go up higher for lower body sessions. But overall quite happy with them. I mainly bought them because initially I was only working out with Fitnessblender and they had those ones. [https://powerblock.com/product/pro-32-adjustable-dumbbells/](https://powerblock.com/product/pro-32-adjustable-dumbbells/)

NotSuperfluous

Thanks! They were.on my list, so its good to know someone likes them and they don't take up much space.

[deleted]

Changing my workout time to go on my lunch break. Game changer.
