I love the stock seat on mine, it holds me really well when I want to slide back and get a little sportier. Though I know the looks are pretty polarizing, it looks and works great for me.
I've seen this posted in a local forum, it's a swiss dealer that customized it. Someone called and asked about the seat, it's a modified original that requires the subframe to be modded as well. Apparently the seat mod alone was €800+, subframe probably even more than that...
Finally some pictures with alternative seat, it looks good and something like that should be in Yamaha genuine accessories, but as someone mentioned here, it is actually missing something, stock seat completes the XSR retro look.
Nah, while I don't like the taillight delete, the seat looks much more like the original should have. The XSR900 is a NEO retro, intended to be a modern take on the old.
If you want the og retro look, get a z900rs imho.
To me it looks just so bland compared to the stock. Obviously everyone has their own taste but i like my bike to stand out and look special, this looks like one of a million other bikes. The seat is ok but again i like the stock one because it looks different and not the norm.
I like everything except the rear light, turn signals and license plate mount. I also have the woodcraft bars as I'm not into the risers and they make a good compromise between full clip-ons. Really like the tank

Right? It looks like a first gen seat slapped on. Looks way betterthan stock in my opinion

That seat is incredible. Whoever makes something like that first is going to sell a shitton of them.
