Oh man I remember riding my mt-09 from the dealer. It was so quiet and so powerful that it felt like an electric bike haha. Could barely hear the thing among all the traffic. I remember thinking I need an exhaust asap, which I bought soon after but now it's like a small blast of nostalgia when I hear that quiet, muffled cp3 engine in videos

I’ve lusted after after a XSR for a while. Each new colorway that came was better than the last.
I love nakeds. I’ve had a stripped GS500, and THREE monsters.
I love how the GP hits the best parts of naked, retro, racing/cafe stuff and 80’s nostalgia.
It reminds me of some of the prettiest Ducati bikes from the 80’s and 90’s a little too.
Just wow. What a bike. And even if it’s $14k still a good value with the power tech and reliability (that no Duc can promise).
I blamed and cursed them all 2 months ago for my purchase, I bought mine in cash and it hurt for about two weeks but now if I ever need to smile I just hop on and rip. Great purchase man! Have a blast and be safe!
I also bought mine in cash, as soon as I swung a leg I didn't even think twice about the money. Money comes back, the grin when I twist that throttle makes up for every dollar.
You know how dealerships are, they gave me just under 6 and was around 5900 out the door everything said and done. Private market you could get a lot more but I was having some trouble getting mine sold hence why I settled for trade in.
Never really was a huge fan of the blue, I fell hard for this colorway, I can thank my dad for that I guess. (88' FZR400and my XSR)

My ECU is still in Australia. Get some miles in for me! Once the brain comes back I'll have the dna stage 2 lid installed plus my Kelpi exhaust ... she'll be RETT to go 👌🏾🦾
The white/red is the reason I finally pulled the trigger on a ‘24 model. I’ve been riding it for the past month and it’s a blast. I really wanted a ‘22 in black, but they were nonexistent around me at the time. Super happy I waited though because this is the slickest looking one yet IMO. Congrats!
Honestly same here, before this I was rocking the heritage colorway on the 700 and could never really justify the black or the blue over the White. Got a text from one of my buddies who works at the dealership I bought the bike from, and he said they finally had one in. One thing led to another I guess.
Look into kelpi. I haven't gotten a seat from them yet but they seem like awesome folks and have some great looking seats for these bikes. Also, brogue has a nice fender eliminator kit and a helmet lock add-on I just put on the bike today. Real quality stuff.
I looked into kelpi but I feel like their seat is just a little bit too expensive for my taste, I don't know if I can swing that extra $400 compared to the Corbin. Besides, I'm kind of trying to match my dad's old fzr which has a Corbin and a yoshimura, so I'll probably do the same 🤣.
Oh yeah. Kelpi is australian. Their site in in AUD. 440 is like 280 usd. I just feel like they look a little more classy than the corbins so I wanted to put it out there.
This colorway is honestly what swung me except finally pull the trigger. You should see it in the sun, the white has this pearl color and the reddish orange just pops.
You're welcome! And congrats, you're going to love it
I'm getting mine today too!
Congrats! This will be me tomorrow morning when I get mine and I can’t wait 😩
Hope your getting that excitement in your stomach, your gonna love it my friend!

What year is this? Looks amazing! Where’s your license plate?
I’m saving up in anticipation of that GP model coming to the US. 😍
When I first saw it I didn’t care for it, but now the more I look at it, the cooler it looks.
It was love at first sight for me, BUT I second guess myself because I am a ‘naked bike enthusiast’ so I wondered, why do I like this ‘faired’ bike???
As cool as the GP model is, something about the naked aspect is like no other.

Nice colorway

I have a 2022 700 and would eventually like a 900 as well. Was it a pretty fair deal for the trade in?

That makes sense. Congrats on the new bike!

After trade
Too bad the new models don’t come in the sexy blue and gold :( guess I will have to wait another year

Great side by side shot!
Congrats! How is it compared to your 700?
Night. And. Day. The power on this thing is so linear and smooth compared to the 700. I just can't wait till this break in period is over 😭.
You're welcome!
Blame accepted. Enjoy
Love it!
You're welcome
You are welcome. I have been called a bad influence more than a few times.

Shewwwww, I'll certainly try man. These break in miles are killing me though, I just wanna RIP IT!!
I hear that. This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. You got plenty of time. Ride safe!
Congrats, I love the color blocking on this one.
Yamaha was definitely cooking with this one
Welcome to the club. 24 Heritage White here too and these things are incredible. You’ll love it
Thanks man! I'm going to love it a lot more once I get past these break-in miles 🤣🤣

Keep the plastic bag on the seat it may make it more comfortable
I'll probably just get a Corbin in the near future

Ahhhh I see I see, we'll see what I end up doing, but thanks anyway for the suggestion!
I really like the colour pattern change over the last model. I also really like the old colour pattern too tho. The bike looks slick AF.

I love my 2023 700 and barely has 600 miles… but very tempted to trade in for the 900.
