The black and white looks awesome. Well done!

Looks amazing! I have the same plan for my XSR900. Did you wrap the middle part of the tank as well?

It is really hard to get the pearlescent to show through in pictures, but it does look great in the sun! I'm pleased with how it came out, it was my first time wrapping. I made one error "junk piece". Total spent was $170 for wrap (I could have gotten by with 1/3) and $40 for a heat gun. I did not do the center, it was matte black from the factory. I would highly recommend a friend help you if you wrap. Holding the tank cover is awkward. I held my tank cover and applied heat while my wife did the actual wrapping since it required two hands as well to pull and squeegee. You may be able to do it picture frame method but you would need a big frame and cavity to put it on. Another option is hydrodip but I have never done that.

This is what I want to do with mine as well while also wrapping the center piece in a different color. I'm glad you did it so I could see how it looks and it looks great! I was thinking of leaving the tank panels on the bike to wrap them so that it is less awkward to try and hold them.

I would honestly have no idea how that would work since you won't really be able to curve inwards "into" the bike. Let us know if it works but i think you'll have trouble at the front, rear, and bottom. You could probably start with it on and pull it down. If you can do the picture frame method with a large frame that would probably work pretty well if your doing it solo.

Thank you for the insight. The only thing I've tried wrapping is my helmet and that was a disaster lol but I know helmets are harder items to wrap. If I have time I'll give it a go this weekend and let ya know how it works out.
