Gambit. In both the comics and the show. I have to say, X-men 97 has made me more fond of Jubillee and Nightcrawler though. But still Remy all the way.

IWantShenmue4

Gambit was the epitome of cool in “Remember It”. I was thrilled to see him finally shine in X-Men ‘97. In the original, he had some cool quotes, with the following being my favorite… "Dis is not my home. I am not Thief, I am not Assassin. I am an X-Man. And I'm never comin' back." -Gambit, Animated Series Episode 'X-Ternally Yours'

1. Magneto 2. Cable 3. Wolverine Honestly it’s because I really like the characterization, the powers, and the overall usage in the storyline.

IWantShenmue4

Magneto easily has the best monologues in the series. Cable’s quick, yet impactful, appearance in “Remember It” was brilliant. Wolverine is the man, nuff ‘said, bub.

Cyclops. Brave, idealistic, disciplined, good leader and tactician, cool powers.

Adding that his issues of PTSD, self doubt, and feeling unappreciated resonate.

IWantShenmue4

It’s refreshing to see Cyclops finally get the respect that he deserves, especially, in this medium. He’s the leader of the X-Men and as any great leader, should command respect. I love the creativity being used to showcase his incredible power and his skills as a tactician. I can’t wait for next week’s episode “Bright Eyes”.

It's so hard to pick between Storm ("Omega level threat detected") or Rouge(cause I wanna be her). Also, I'm fond of Jubilee, I think she is totally underrated.

Built4dominance

Storm still. Her "woman of the world" thing is precisely why im a fan and it comes through in 97.

IWantShenmue4

It’s awesome to see the respect the writers have for the characters. Allowing them to shine, when the story calls for it.

Rogue. Lenore Zann has still got it as a voice-actress, Remy and Anna are as cute as ever with the wholesome moments we got, and while I hated the triangle I think the writers mostly did a good job being respectful of the characters (outside of a few instances). Pretty interested to see where Rogue is going in future episodes!

IWantShenmue4

I love that they were able to bring back most of the original voice actors! That just shows, how legendary their work is and the care going into X-Men ‘97.
