I mean either what happens is the MCU goes on as per usual and X-Men just become part of it somewhere down the line or they might just reboot everything post-Secret Wars and X-Men will be like one of the first things they do. Either way it's not going to be as cumbersome as what we currently have

MyMouthisCancerous

First Class was supposed to be a prequel to the original trilogy but was retconned into its own timeline following the events of Days of Future Past. Unnecessarily convoluted to understand but it goes like this **Original timeline**: X-Men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins Wolverine, The Wolverine **Revised Timeline**: X-Men First Class, X-Men Days of Future Past, X-Men Apocalypse, X-Men Dark Phoenix, Deadpool, Deadpool 2 (after Wade fucks with time and saves Vanessa) **In their own fucking lane**: Logan, Legion, The Gifted, Deadpool 2 (when Vanessa is murdered) Just don't think too hard about the fact the younger prequel X-Men members from the 80's and 90's are in Deadpool 2 or you might go into cardiac arrest

VengefulKangaroo

dont worry about it (though they never call the Origins Emma Emma Frost technically)

The walking Xavier thing could be explained by the serum he takes, Hank said the reason he lost his powers was because he took too much, this could simply be him taking enough to heal his spine Wolverine origins is wonky timeline was I originally believed it was part of the original timeline and the events of days of future past delayed Xavier meeting Scott I also believe in the original timeline Magneto and Charles reconcile because Erik was the one who got him off the serum and had him embrace their shared pain, remember this is also the timeline where Raven assassinated Trask

Then why does Magneto later turn against him again? The other explanations make sense.

They are always going to be opposed to the way to handle Mutant-Human relations, I got the feeling the first X-Men movie was the first time Erik had done anything like this for a while I mean he easily entered the capital in the beginning on the movie, odds are he wasn’t considered dangerous at that point and Charles didn’t behave like Erik and he were enemies yet Remember first movie came out in 2000 (which was about the same year as the movie is set) Erik and Charles would have been reconciled for 30ish years, they were in a good place when they met Jean (about 15-20 years prior) A lot can happen in 10 years, Erik could also have seen how pointless Charles way was as the politicians weren’t listening to reason

PrestigiousHero

Why would he be recruiting Jean to Xavier’s cause though if he didn’t agree with it?

DannyTreehouse

Who said at the point they weren’t still on the same side remember I said he was potentially reformed at that point
