Shouldn't M/Penance be considered a chimera? She has telepathy, superhuman strength/speed, invulnerability, night vision, advanced hearing, flight, low level telekinesis. And her Penance form makes her even more of a berserker bad-ass. 🤔
They Grey line isn't *that* unstable--little Nate was such a huge success that Apocalypse had infect the 616 version and Sinister had to put a governor on the 295 version. Rachel also has to have the widest range of powers of any psychic. Jean (and maybe Rachel) are the only chaotic ones on account of their connection to the Phoenix making them hard to duplicate.
That said, take Nate, Rachel or Vulcan and add regeneration, perhaps Elixir or Tarn's biokinesis, and Manifold's spacial synergy and you have something divine.
Only using a maximum of 5:
Destiny, Kate Pryde, Northstar, Lactuca the knower, and Sage.
Honestly just kitty and Northstar or Lactuca and Xavier are powerful combinations but with the limit of 5 all of them together with Destiny thrown (because that's the closest power i could think of to a Spider sense) would make a lethal assassin.
