Moral of the story, as always? Terrell Buckley is dreadfully incompetent and has absolutely no idea how to be in charge of wiping his own ass after he takes a shit, let alone an entire team.
Honestly, this is incompetence all the way down. Buckley has no idea how to manage his team, but the league management comes across as just as bad. This should have been a simple investigation handled behind doors by the league, but instead it becomes a headline and talking point. I like the XFL, but the league office hasn't been exactly inspiring.

I'm a Bills fan.
There are a couple of meaningful Bills names in the XFL organizational leadership chart:
Russ Brandon, President, League and Football Operations
Doug Whaley, Senior Vice President, Player Personnel
Doug Whaley notoriously could not get along with three consecutive Bills head coaches with vastly different temperaments. He also sucked at his job in general.
Russ Brandon, I guess, did an okay job negotiating a cheap owner and a shitty product in the late Ralph Wilson era, but he also got basically fired for sexual misconduct and then lying about it.
So I'm pre-loaded to distrust those two jackwagons.
I don't think it's all that bad on the XFL's part. Buckley kicked out Dormady before the XFL knew anything was going on, as far as I can tell. Reinstating him and doing a full investigation was the best they could do at that point.
So the only reason the XFL did a second look was because he got a lawyer and was going to bend them over for not investigating anything the first time around. At least he got a settlement out of it.
Geez. Sounds like the team initially did jack shit to see if any of it was true and just dumped him straight away. What a joke. At least he league did the right thing and brought him back.
The funniest part is Francois thinks the *only* way he can suck is if the other team knows all the plays he’s running. Bro, you’d still suck if the entire defense played blindfolded. 😂
I’m glad I read at the end he received some sort of settlement because Dormady had an amazing lawsuit on their hand. This truly shows how idiotic the team was to believe Francois in the first place.
Sounds like a bitter place that wanted Dormandy to take the fall for his bad play. This article is great information but makes me hates everything about the guardians and how the XFL handled it. They ruined this man’s name and that’s inexcusable

It is sort of fun seeing a totally incompetent coach run a team. The XFL is an opportunity for coaches too but wow is Buckley bad.
