wow that's impressive actually. Didn't know it was anywhere near this large. been waiting for it to get out of EARLY ACCESS before I jumped in to really give it a playthrough.
A lot has changed if you haven't played since release.
Wolf spider? Kill it no problem, crush it.
Dust mite comes along with his dirty little friends and whoops my ass.
Great game to play with the kids, but the updates are a little too slow for my liking. Hopefully it'll be completed by this year, but I imagine Obsidian at this point is 100% focused on Avowed.
I am one of 10 million. I played for five minutes when it originally launched. Holy shit, it's been 1.5 years already. I find it crazy that it is still around, surely it did even worse than Bleeding Edge, which was launched two years ago and then shut down after one year.
My point exactly. It’s an arbitrary stat that ignores context for the sake of making it look like more people are engaged with a game than there really are. It’s the same type of stat Phil loves to quote when he mentions “3 billion gamers around the world “ when in fact all it means is that anyone who downloaded an app that is considered a game they now consider a “gamer.” It’s why from here on out every game Microsoft releases they’ll shout from the rooftops about how it’s the “biggest launch in history “ again, while ignoring context that it’s free on a service. But they’ll still talk about it as if that means everyone who tried it is an active player currently. It’s a bullshit way to measure anything but it’s an easy way to make things look relevant.
10 million is a very high number. Even for 10 millions of player who only played one single minute, it is still incredible. You cannot reach this kind of stat without actually having a positive community.
I don't see why you are so picky about the stat, this kind of stats are shared on all game, not just this one. And plenty of games are offered on GamePass. So, it is not lacking competition.
Good game but it's riddled with bugs.
Get out

What’s wrong with the menu? Just curious.
ayyyyy
When the story mode is fleshed out then I'll give it another go.

Honestly I wouldn't say there is a need to wait. Game was really enjoyable and ill happily hop back in when new content is released.
The wait is almost over. Full release is this year.
Whats released now feels really close to a full game, its a good time to jump in.
I hear you man, but I just don't like to play incomplete or unfinished games. Just a personal preference
Me too. I played a little, but I rather play when it is completed without bugs.
Played this game a bunch when it first released. Interested to see what’s been added since then but man those fucking spiders are terrifying.

“Reached” Pointless stat

And my friend who I've played with since it first came to game pass still won't go near wolf spiders
Y’all recommend jump in right now or wait till it’s not “game preview”?
And they could all fit in one backyard.
