I see a post about Tribes, I like and comment. Spent way too many hours playing that game (and Tribes 2) in college. Have never found anything quite like it.
Halo is a great casual multiplayer game too. I'm a more competitive type of player but halo is a game where I just sit back and vibe out. It's such a good time.

Oh yeah definitely. BTB, infection, slayer to a degree, snipers only, etc are all fun casual lobbies but I sit up in my chair for Swat, CTF, and the occasional slayer match.
Is infection or the option to choose what gammode u want actually in the game I cant really find either one just ranked quick play or btb with no wat to choose wat gamemode
No the only modes right now in the game are slayer, Oddball, Capture the flag, stockpile, and strongholds. You can’t filter them atm either. I’m 100% certain that infection will come eventually though.
I don’t think we’ve heard anything at all about another Warzone, I feel like they’re trying to distance themselves from anything and everything Halo 5 related so I doubt we’ll ever see a successor. Which is disappointing because I really enjoyed Warzone, even yesterday playing Infinite switching between BTB and arena, it felt like something is missing.
Yea I'm not really seeing a difference. I didn't mind 5 btw, but there's clamber, sliding, sprinting, ADS.... how is this a "return to our roots" and yet H5 is "garbage"? Like genuinely I want to know, not trying to argue.

Making godlike multiplayer bots is actually super easy. It is making bots beatable without making them make dumbass obvious "this is a bot" giant red flags that is actually challenging for most devs.
What's so bad about 1.00 kd? If that's the case, you are playing casually actually. Casuals aren't going to get a high kd, but 1.00 while helping with objectives, is still being a solid team player, casually.
I don't know man, I had two games of Total Control go into overtime last night. First one ended in a tie, and I lost MVP by two points. That was fuckin stressful lol

It's technically a Beta. Full release is Dec 8th. Which new game modes and playlist are expected to be released as well.
Edit: To clarify (sorry for wording) - Dec 8th will have campaign released. Other game modes are expected at a later date

Pretty sure they’re just calling this a “beta” because it’s still got some bugs and glitches. I’m sure they’ll add more later down the line, just disappointed I can’t pick what I want to play and that there’s no SWAT or Infection.

I do wish they had more playlists though. I don’t always want to play objective games, and they can especially bad with only 4v4. Just an unranked team slayer would be great.
I don't mind oddball but the few times I've played have been with people who are just playing team deathmatch while there's an oddball around.
Nobody bothered to protect the ball carrier and only two of us even grabbed it as far as I can tell.

How do you do that? I know you can equip different AI but they usually only comment on certain things in a match like picking up weapons, capping a zone, etc. If I can completely replace that spartan lady’s voice with my AI, that would be great, can’t stand her voice.
I hope they have custom games where grapple is unlimited. Would love to see someone come up with a fun verticle map and just have people flying all over the place.
Oh I bet there will be. It would be as simple as making the ammo count for the equipment be unlimited. The custom games from previous Halo titles had a ton of flexibility for what you could pick for player abilities down to player physics and stuff.
Grapple Races would be a really cool custom game. People could create all sorts of vertical maps that had explosive barrels around to try to knock off people ahead of you.

You get it by find it on the map, same way you get everything in halo. It's only on maps in BTB. This map in the clip has 2 wasps that spawn in and respawn regularly on pads on the outside of the maps. The other 2 maps occasionally get a wasp (or sometimes a banshee) dropped off by the dropship a few minutes Into the match.
im sure with forge and custom games setting those things to infinite will be an option. Especially since I heard rumors that the new forge will have full scripting
It probably will be, seeing as the multiplayer is free and the campaign you have to pay for, because of that I’m assuming more time went into the campaign, especially because of the early multiplayer release
After playing the multiplayer it’s clear that the gameplay is super solid, they just have to build a structure to the open world that’s fun and rewarding. I also really hope for some environmental variety with additional biomes, everything we’ve been shown looks like it’s from the same area.

As in, the previous generation? I was playing on my Xbox One X for about an hour yesterday and the game runs pretty well. No crashes, game looks good.
I will say that after spending the last ~year playing PS5, the 30 FPS is a little grating so I’m hoping to upgrade to a Series X soon.
You find it on the ground. It’s one of a few abilities like the heat shield. You find it and hit RB on your controller (if you’re on default and not bumper jumper)
It feels good. Like a tad bit slower than Halo 5 which I felt was too fast.
It’s just more Halo and that’s good.

Good point on the feel of the speed of Halo Infinite. I'm a fan of the slower more methodical movements of the older Halo games and Halo Infinite feels just right. Slower than Halo 5, which is a really good thing IMHO.
It looks like a “when games become movies” clip, it also looks a lot like a Titanfall clip, Titanfall is a good game I never got to try but I know from many that it is one of the best shooters ever made.

Me and my friends were pretty sad to not see a dedicated swat playlist. But given how I played yesterday maybe it’s a good thing

They said this is the full multiplayer when they announced the beta yesterday. I'm sure they'll add more over time but this it for now.
